Simply lovely! Thanks for sharing!

What a fantastic story!!! Even better the second time!
A really gorgeous story - plenty of plot, delightful details and I loved all the other pairings.
"What am I going to do tomorrow? Well, of course I'm going to work with you on the new muggle student project! That's the real reason you were so interested, isn't it? Sweet, silly man."
"What are you going to do for the rest of your life? That's what I want to know, Headmaster. Will you marry me my dearest, my Severus, my dark wizard, you?"With all the warmth in my heart and my soul will you make me thine forever?
Trust me my dearest. Trust me. I will be worth it. I promise you. For there is no one else for you but me, my sweet, dear friend. I love you. There! You've dragged it out of me!
Your true love,Hermione
Isn't that the way it always goes with these situations. You are right on the edge of making a move, when someone you must pay attention to because they have something important going on interrupts you. Then it is so hard to get that moment back. It gives time for too much thinking. Sometimes we rationalize that it was good we were interrupted because we think there may be a better moment that will feel more sure and right. It can't end in heartbreak! That must be a trick. Severus, take Harry's advice to Neville. This woman isn't like Lily in any way.
love! read the whole thing in a matter of days. Thanks so much for your time and efforts
MAGNIFICENT!!
Had to read it twice to make sure I didnt miss anything... ok so i will have to read it a 3rd time just to absolutely make sure!
Just wanted to point out that:a) I love this fanfic!andb) "to miss Longbottom’s..." Since when is Neville a woman? :)

This bit of encouragement startled a snort from Severus, who stifled his laughter so as not to miss Longbottom’s response to this.As it's used in the sentence above, the word "miss" is not a personal title but is verb.miss verb (used with object) 1. to fail to hit or strike: to miss a target. 2. to fail to encounter, meet, catch, etc.: to miss a train. 3. to fail to take advantage of: to miss a chance.English can be a tricky language, I will confess. In this case, the word is used in the context of definition number 3; Severus does not wish to miss the opportunity to hear what Neville will say to Harry. Keep in mind that when it's used as a title, "Miss" is always capitalized. I hope you find this helpful. Difficult though the language can be, I am delighted to know you're enjoying the story. Thank you!
Obviously you need to write a part two--SO I CAN FIND OUT HOW CROOKS WAS GETTING INTO THE ROOM!!!
Ahem, that was lovely and wonderfully done. Thank you. Perhaps Regency Week can be an annual event for Hogwarts. Now please excuse me, I need to go watch Sense & Sensibility.......
Another fine story, Subversa! Thanks for that; they were it was delightful.
I am so sorry Hermione had to put up with Ron's drunken and totally uncalled for remarks, but she is well rid of him. And I'm counting on a certain Headmaster Snape to let her know just how desirable he finds her. C'mon, Severus! Where's your courage... you know you want to...

Hermione's little black dress is very pretty, and I'm certain that her appearance was not lost on Severus. Indeed, I think both of them are becoming increasingly aware (and drawn to) the other.
Perhaps with a little planning, Severus might be able to show Ron the "good luck token" Hermione had given him to help him "clean them out."

I can't see how Hermine has put up with Weasley's sorry-self for so long. I was hoping Severus would say something to put him in his place. And what a zinger it was!
Hummmm. It seems that everyone that came in the Staff Room could see how Hermione feels about the Headmaster... and he about her. Except for Ron, of course.
Yay! for Hermione riding with the Host and Headmaster. I can't wait!

Hermione's reminiscence about the article and pictures about Severus in Wizarding Hello was very telling. It was sparked by Penny's obvious delight at the thought of her meeting with the Headmaster, but the things Hermione recalled seemed to betray a more personal interest in Severus than just noticing Penny's interest.
Draco and Harry don't seem to have made much progress in putting the past behind them. Yet I suspect there may be more going on than meets the eye.
Hermione has a lot to see to on this last but one day before Regency Week begins in earnest, and I think Ron may prove to be (once again) totally unreliable.

Single-handedly, the ferocious Brain of the Golden Trio had engineered the rescue of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from bankruptcy—barring, of course, utter disaster.
Well, well... Our favorite Headmaster has been out-foxed by our favorite Miss-Know-It-All, and Lucius has charmed the socks off of the daunting Miss Marchbanks. Ron is unhappily doing what he is told, Harry is performing splendidly as Hermione's step-'n-fetchit. Penelope Clearwater has a monumental crush on Snape, and Snape can't keep his eyes off Hermione's back or her front.
What could possible go wrong? Hee hee.

Severus was plenty lucky on that last hand, Ron was an idiot, and Dumbledore seemed to know something that none of the others did. If I didn't know better, I think Albus had plans for Severus and Hermione... Is there something special about those sixteenth century playing cards?
Beth
This one tugged on my heart strings, and none too gently either. Bravo =)
Beautiful story. Now we need a one shot so Severus can explain those cards to Hermione.

This story was such a pleasure to read and gave me hours of entertainment. The story was different and unique - really just a breath of fresh air. I found all of your pairings to be quite charming and enjoyed reading your original characters in particular. The pace was fantastic - not too slow, not too fast, but juuuust right.
Thank you so much for sharing your talent with words. I really do appreciate it!!
Such a wonderful story! Of course, what else could we expect from you? Loved how they got together slowly.
Of course, Crookshanks knows.
Totally romantic and wonderful fic.
It was fun reading it as it posted. Just a fantastic and romantic fic.

Utterly wonderful final chapter - sensual, true to character, and with flashes of humour. I've loved this story from start to finish, and may have to read it all over again now. Many, many thanks!
