Reviews for For Hogwarts: A Regency Gamble
Oh, how bittersweet! I'm dying to know her answer to his question! Will they need additional staff to assist with the older Muggle-borns?
I really love how you write Luna. And Harry/Draco! Love how Harry staked his claim -- and Lucius stood by them! Yay! But the end? Got me all misty-eyed. *sigh* Dammit, Severus! (off to read 20 now...)
What a beautiful, magical, heartbreaking chapter! Come on, Severus - what are floos for?
Perhaps she needs to take up a new position at Hogwarts to help contact and coordinate with all those Muggle-born students who didn't get to finish school.
They simply cannot throw away all that has transpired between them.
This story is absoloutly marvellous! I love regency romances, I read way too many Barbara Cartland books as a lass! but a hogwarts regency themed story-Epic! thankyou for writing this tale. :O)
This has to be one of my favorite chapters. Things are working out left and right for everyone. Well, almost everyone. But Severus and Hermione will get there; it just seems to take them twice as long as everyone else. It makes me wonder, though, with all of these folks pairing up, what would have happened if there had not been Regency week. Would they have found their mates eventually? Doesn't matter, but it just make me realize how very important Regency week is, and not just for Hogwarts.
Bring back Modern Times, I say! :D
wow, that was so romantic. Superbly done, my dear.
I hope Severus realizes that she wants to annoy Ronnie. Good move on Harry's part, as he only did what Ron asked him. I do wonder if you have anyone in mind to match up with Victor and Finbar -- and if anyone will show up to give Lucius real competition. Thank you for the new update!!!
Yes, Severus. Keep telling yourself that you are doing it for Hogwarts...
"For Hogwarts" my eye. I don't think Severus realises how deep he's in andsinking further.
Looking forward to seeing what happens next!
H... for Hogwarts, indeed. Loved the inclusion of Krum. I just hope he's not an arse (I rather like Viktor).
For Hogwarts ... right. Nice try, Severus. I love that he is getting jealous as that is always good in my book. If it doesn't go too far, anyway. I do like seeing him determined rather than downtrodden. I am loving this!
Yup, for Hogwarts, all right. Wow, you've thrown quite the kink in the plan here with Viktor. I think it will take a bit for Hermione to figure out what she wants, and will Severus hang around to find out if it's him?
I'm glad he 'talked himself into it.' I guess he can't possibly note the jealousy in his statements here... yet. :) And oooh, poring on the charm... I likey.
Glad it didn't take much for her to figure out Ron and what their futire would be like.
Excellent, Severus! The master of analysis must have figured out why Hermione reacted to him that way, so he maneuvered around her misgivings. And good for Lucius and his prey; I hope she singes him good. Thanks for the new update!!
Loved the ending -- Severus teasing Hermione was fun. The "Could you say that again" was hysterical, and while her rejoinder of "You're impossible" seemed perfect, his follow-up line of "At last, we begin to understand one another" was even better.
I also liked the game between Harry and Draco. They're starting "the dance", it seems. :D
And I'm also happy for Lucius and Leticia. She seems to be keeping him on his toes.
I really liked how Severus is doubting himself and his decision to swoop in. He's not perfect and dashing -- he's human with plenty of issues (I'm sure being rebuffed by his first love, then joining the Death Eaters gave him plenty of issues). I really liked how he addressed Hermione when he came downstairs. Aaaand, I liked the interplay between Draco and Harry. ;)
Nice chapter!
I wonder how long it is before Severus realises he's making her go to pieces?
Loved the game between Draco and Harry. Poor Harry has to shape up now that he's eyed the man totty.
Looking forward to seeing what happens next!
Can I push Hermione over and take her place?
On to the next chapter!
Lovely! They both have found a way to be with one another that works on the level they are able to accept. And that's good, because that means that their level they can accept can grow and grow throughout the week.
Snape presented things to Hermione perfectly, and now she'll feel more at ease by his side. Except I don't expect her to be better able to focus just because she thinks they are united in a common goal. He's still going to make her melty, and a gooey hostess could be trouble. Looking forward to more!
LOL. love the last line. )
Heh! Clever Severus, to figure a way to accompany Hermione while telling himself it is his duty as Headmaster to stay close to her side. I'm happy with anything to keep S&H together. Without a further thought for Ron, or expectations, or anything save the man before her -- perfect, Hermione! Just keep focusing on Severus.
Thank you for the new chapter, Subversa and SubHub!
Oh thank you for finishing Ron and Hermione! Severus is protesting too much. We already know he likes what he sees.
Off to read more!
