Hm... So Ron was awful... Hermione reacted... and Severus *listened* to the whole thing? Intriguing! I love that he's keeping the handkerchief with the schedule. Can't wait to see what comes next! :)

Ron has proven himself to be a sore loser and a prat.  Lovely.  glad Severus won, and Ron was stupid to put that schedule in, but oh so sweet for us.  Now... as for Dumbly's little comment... care to elaborate???

Lovely dress, lovely flirting.  She's funny, thinking he's mocking her, when he obviously isn't... in any non-Slytherin way.

Poor Severus.  If I didn't expect things to turn out very well for him, I might almost be able to scrape up some sympathy.

Is it bad that I feel a little sorry for Ron?  He is a young man afterall, not quite old and mature enough to be sensitive to her needs, but he sure notices that she doesn't have much time for him these days since her idea of fun and his don't match.  She certainly throws herself into projects, and I bet he has been neglected.

Still, I only have so much sympathy because he is awfully whiny and needy and goes about getting her attention in the totally wrong way.  She definitely needs someone older and more mature.  If we could just find someone to fit that description ...

I can tell that Severus and Crooks are BFFs in the making. :)

Ron is not a bad guy, he's just full of testosterone like most males his age. Hermione needs a mature, intelligent, sensitive man. And you have provided one so conveniently!

Now if the two of them can just face the fact that they were made for each other (as Ron so sagely suggested), everything will work out for the best.

A small thing here...the pic of the ring that you provide a link to at the end of your story shows a Celtic Knot ring. You mention in your story that the ring is a Celtic Cross ring...two very different styles of ring. Just thought I'd mention it...

I adore the picture of Severus curved to the wall listening to her cry. So beautiful and heartbreaking. And Crooks' part is genius. What would this magical world be without that boy?
