Poor Hermione can't figure out how to read the Headmaster.  Harry could help her if he wasn't so busy verbally assaulting Draco (who probably likes it waaaaaay too much).

I'm never sure if having Snape and Harry as best buddies is feasible, but I sure like stories such as this, where Snape is no longer annoyed by Harry, and Harry is no longer intimidated by Snape.  It makes for a nice relationship.

Let's get on with Regency Week, shall we?  I'm dying to know what is going to go wrong! :)

So does Draco have a thing for Hermione, because he is being all charming and flirty?  Or does his interest lie with Harry, and he is expressing passion as hatred?  Or maybe Ron and Draco will hook up and you'll lose all of your readers, LOL.

It must take massive amounts of planning on Hermione's part, but I have no doubt she will pull it off.  Except, for someone so organized, there at the end she seems to have lost control of all of the males around her.

Ahhh, Snape is disturbed by all of this, and she hasn't even told him that he is the main attraction.  At least I hope so.  As for utter disaster, his definition might be a bit different from that of everyone else.

You have certainly written Ron as an ass extraordinaire.  Drunk, boorish, whiney. 

It is hard to see how anything can stand to be around him.  Those poor canaries...

Ooh, but does that mean Ronnie will leave Hogwarts -- or will he wander the school aimlessly, harassing Hermione and Severus as he wishes? Git.  I hope Severus uses his gold winnings to buy something nice for himself and for Hermione.

Is Dumbledore matchmaking already?  That man works fast. Of course anyone with a secret stash of playing cards could have just about anything up their sleeves.  Surely Dumbledore didn't use his special cards to cheat, did he?  Um, who cares, actually?  Ron lost his girlfriend in a poker game which made me laugh.  And she couldn't have been won by a better person.  This gets more and more interesting as we go.

Clean them out?  I don't suppose he even remembers how to play poker with the Granger encounter fresh on his mind.  It's good to see them loosening up around one another.

I myself am not a fan of the Regency era. It's just too female victim/martyish for me. So I can sympathize with Ron a tad. But I really don't know of many other strong eras is England's history. Victorianism comes closest. But I digress...

Severus is opening up more to Hermione - interesting. Draco and Harry seem to be getting more public with their flirtations, and it's funny to see Lavender not enthralled with Ron! I have a feeling the Poker game is going to be something to watch!

First off, may I say that I'm suprised Severus isn't the least enticed by another redheaded woman in his general vicinity? That being said, Lucius with a redhead is quite different! Not that I know what his type is, but I haven't ever read of him seeing a redhead, so this is new. Draco and Hermione have a pleasant friendship. Reading their easy banter makes me smile. She may need that friendship in the future, I suspect. And what about Severus? Is he putting subtle moves on Hermione, or am I imagining things?

Um, can Ron fall off his horse? Maybe break his neck? He doesn't have to die, maybe just a coma? ;) Lovely continuation. =)

Of course clever Draco was quick to pick up on the copying system. I wonder how long before Harry realizes he and Draco....  Well, Draco may need to be patient.  Not sure if Blaise showing up would be good or bad.

Ron makes me impatient to see him out of the picture.  As in canon, he just isn't mature or forgiving.  You and SubHub write such excellent characterizations!

Quite a interesting story.  I am enjoying the relationship Draco and Hermione have.  Ron is being none other than Ron, a complete dunderhead.  I love a sarcastic Snape, can't wait to see how the relationship with Hermione progresses.
