Hello all, I am a 53 year old from NZ. Although SSHG is how I started and still my main pairing, I'll give pretty much any pairing a try, whether it be reading or writing. Sev and Herms need a bit of variety at times. ;)

For the las t three days I have been re reading thi from the begining and just when I completed chapter 33 there was this update. That really made my day. I love it when they got hanfasted without knowing it. Thank you so much for updating today.

Wow, I'm glad the ROR did everything and they are now handfasted..I love the colours and that were chosen and the fact that the ROR was their witness..I love it!! WELL DONE, and so looking forward to another chapter..This made my day..what a nice Thanksgiving present!! THANK YOU!

what does it look like, when sarcastic old Snape is trying to suppress a smile he has to hide all day. Must be a very puzzling sight.What must the pupils have thought.Must have been something like: what disgusting painful thing is he up to now...And how did this feel like for him? ok, he knows how to hide feelings. but this time it is for him and his nice looking bright futur. not only his do I survive or not or does the world go to pieces or not. I like it. He is hiding a smile.Blaise has still his problems that this old man got "his" girl? well, he coments it rather lighthearted and all, but who knows. And then the big fat moment of the year.How do we break it to the two "boys".We don't at all, we pretend to guess. Nice try. I think, this would not count as plotting aginst them. I think, this is a rather nice and acceptable way out. Apart from the fact that all the "insiders"must have gawped at RON!! like maybe at an alien who told them that there actually IS life on mars. or so.Well, you chose him, you let him solve the riddle, the secret. As a chess player? Or what made you think, he could get behind it?He is always just Watson, never Sherlock, why this time combining the clues so very well?I was astonished. And it was soo much fun to read!!Thank you soo much.There I was, saying, that I like how you let Harry and Ron stand in the rain here in this story, but now I have to undo all this. I did like to see Ron, how he put one and one together just like that. He IS taking care of Hermione/ his surrounding. I think this is a good sign.I am eager to see/read what this new side of him will do to the story further on.He even noticed something like a certain scent on his professor. I can't belive it. this boy has got potential! and why does he keep on spoiling his potions when he has such a good nose and memory? mymy. I am surprised...when reappearing on the candelabra, so much for maturity he is as bad as I am.I always have problems to belive Snape would be anything but a-sexual, let alone creative in such matters. The more fun it is to read about it. It may be out of character, but who knows what he did not have the chance to live out.. ahem.at least in JKRs opus. there was no chance to check.so.write on, please.And thank you for the lovely chapter!!!!many many thanks ! hey, aniversary. You started this journey/story almost exactly one year ago. I wonder how much of these 32 chapters you had in mind or ready at the start. And - what is more - how much more there is to come, and if it will be over by christmas? *sniff*

Gods, I love your reviews. They're always so entertaining. Ron is smart enough, just lazy when it comes to academic stuff. He'd rather be playing Quidditch. And dear old Snape. Who knows how creative he could have been sexually. Canon is written more for kids, so avoids the issue apart from the odd teenaged kiss. And all teachers are asexual from a student's POV, which is what canon is written from. I mean, Minerva might be Miss Hotpants of Hogwarts and Filius and Filch involved in a hot bondage relationship for all Harry knows! :P The overall story arc was planned from the beginning, but a lot of the side stories, eg nev/Draco, Blaise/Hermione, Blaise/Luna have developed on the way. :D

yep, you are absolutely right. Canon was for the boys and girls, fanfic is for the boys and girls that like to go out and play. And since there is a big blank in certain regards, we can fill it with life. I have to remind myself that this includes that almost anything goes or some play Quidditch, others play in bed.Good to hear that what I'm writing is entertaining. I would rather stop writing than bore anybody.I really apprechiate this unique chance to really get into contact with someone whose story I read. When does one have that chance in real life. not so often.Off you go, bake a new chapter, please, I am hungry!!!

Anyone who gives Ron the props he deserves gets extra points from me. I love how they planned this whole elaborate conversation and it was all for nothing. And the best part ... Ron is actually okay with it. His nonchalance was priceless. This was a fun chapter. I wonder what Hermione's reaction will be, and will she let Severus know that everyone is on to them? I don't want to be there for that conversation. Who am I kidding, of course I do.

Thank you so much for this chapter, I dearly needed a distraction from real life (being made redundant and looking for a new job - oh and college starts again today so I have homework coming out of my ears). Another fantastic chapter; love that you made Ron rather observant and showed a brilliant astuteness when it came to the whole aftershave scent, also loved the fact that unlike many Snape/Hermione fics he seems to be so accepting of them together.
