Who purchased the paintings indeed.  Blaise would be the obvious choice but then again a little mystery is good for the soul.   Dear Severus is so fragile, I'm glad he was able to go for a walk to calm his nerves and then listen to her without losing his temper.  He always underestimates her in one way or another.  Motherhood is an amazing wonderful thing if you want and are able to have children.  But it does not define us, it is a part of who we are if we choose to go down that road.  I am glad you put Hermiones two cents in there with that.    Thanks for the update, it always brightens my day.  :-)

Yay! I'm so glad they came to an understanding, and after such a short time. Very nice chapter, and for the record, I agree with Hermione 100% about the subject matter (a woman is more than bearing a child -- in fact, bearing a child is only a small percentage of who she is).

Thank you for the update - another fantastic chapter!Do we get to find out who it was that bought the paintings?  Is it their request for the next set?  It's quite a daunting task from conception to adulthood.  I don't think Severus will have any issue with embelishing with Miss Henman's features.  ;)Looking forward to seeing what happens next!
