Hmmm.  Given that the Room of Requirement tends to supply what is required, and given that Severus clearly wants children, I wonder whether their consummation hasn't already put a bun in the oven.  But Hermione couldn't know that yet, so I wonder what disturbs her about the agent's idea.  Perhaps she doesn't think he should want to share her at this point?  Or she doesn't want to share him with a child and doesn't want to fake it?  I also wonder what Neville knows--he does have a special rapport with the RoR, after all.  Lovely chapter in any case--I do adore Minerva's tact and efficiency.

That was a fun run-up to the announcement. I'm glad her friends celebrated, rather than castigated, her decision to handfast with Severus. ...and I rather like the Dreville pairing. ;) (Dreville sounds better to me than Nevco. Nevco sounds like a conglomerate.)

Love this story. Forgot to mention before, I love how he can hear her thoughts and she willingly projects them. Hope you develop and expand on that. There's a lot of potential there. Will she hear his thoughts? Is it only when they are aroused?

I think Hermione is afraid going back to the glamor she wore because she thinks that was who he fell in love with.  She might do it but only as herself.

I don't think it is a ridiculous idea at all.  Why not do a little more posing, without any drama or pretending this time.  I mean, it turned out well for them the first go round.  Mr. Standish does say that he could do it and embellish.  Of course, maybe this has planted the idea of a family.  I guess we shall see.  Well done, Minerva.  I am with Ginny in thinking that she does a fantastic job of squashing rumors, and leaving little room or necessity for more to be started.I hope more is coming soon!
