I am so glad that Lupin asked Hermione to "store his memories, to be used in the event they could help his friend, Severus Snape."But OMG!  Where is his memory of Charmaine?  He has to figure out what Remus was talking about when he said, “When you see her again...Tell her you love her... I love her... and you. I love you, Sev. You are my true mate.” Lupin gasped for breath. “Say ‘bye to Tonks.”Even though Dumbledore had given Severus his word all those years ago that he wouldn't tell anyone about his love for Lily and his promise to protect her son, surely he will seek Severus out and talk with him now that he has been set free by the Wizengamot.  Dumbledore can help Severus put all the pieces together.  Perhaps he is even storing this memory for Severus. .. or... something...Great chapter, as always.  Thanks.Beth

This chapter is so sad.  He's pushed Charmaine away and followed through on his stupid decision to tell Voldemort about the Prophesy.  What is going to happen to all of them now?  So sad, but a great chapter, nonetheless.Beth

Your Lupin is even more delightful than Jo portrayed him in canon and I take it he is more than a touch lavender. Is he just camper than a row of tents or does he swing both ways? But hey it was the start of the Eighties so not to worry.Did you have a good time in Blighty and the Med? I was in Edinburgh and Northumbria 18-25 September and I'm off to Tenerife beginning of November. This is definitely an incredibly difficult time for all of them.  It's too bad that Severus can't see past his blinding rage for Potter to listen to anything. 

Ugh!  Do things always have to end in disaster for those two?  I like Charmaine's dramatic entrance although after awhile, someone will enter and they will assume it is her and it won't be.  Constant vigilance, indeed.  I don't want to rush this story along, but I am dying to know how this all turns out.  Lucky for me you are back to posting regularly.  You are not allowed to leave again until this story is complete! *pretends to have authority over you*

Yay!!! You're back.  And things are getting scarier all the time for our heroes and heroine.  At first I thought that Charmaine had left, but you fooled me good.I like the way they can talk in a round about way.  At least there's a tiny bit of information being shared... they know they'll be fighting along side each other in the future.  I hope she is able to teach them some powerful fighting skills because they're all going to have to be at the top of their game.Thanks for this update, quaffs.Beth

Gah!  Now what?  I really hate Dumbledore.  So, in effect, he changed the future timeline, whatever that will be.

Typical Dumbledore- sits back and lets others do their thing, and then swoops in and tells them what they are doing wrong and wrecks their plans.  Will Miss Bien-Aimee be following these young lads to Edinburgh to wrestle her hanky out of Severus' hot little hands?  Looking forward to it.

OMG!  I never thought about Dumbledore making Severus and Remus leave Hogwarts because they took the Dark Mark.  It seems that Minerva as well as Dumbledore know that Charmaine is Hermione.Now Severus and Remus will have to Portkey to Edinburgh and stay in Minerva's home there.  I guess they really will be attending University there... until the Dark Lord needes for them to join him for whatever nefarious task he has in mind.It frightened me a bit that Severus refused to give Charmaine her embroidered handkerchief Portkey so she could go back to her time.What is to become of them all?Beth
