Thank you so much, dear! You know, this is what I am really, really missing when publishing sth original with a professional publisher: contact to the reader. I might get the number of sold copies, I might, if I am very lucky, get a review, but I don't know what my readers are thinking. So again - thank you very, very much for reviewing!

Ron was a fantastic touch. The way you portrayed him seemed to evolve from juvenile, annoying, hysteric, to a great friend that JKR probably intended (and failed) for him to be. Hermione accepted his logic so willingly and presented the facts to Severus in such a blunt manner that their relationship had no other option but to become mature from the start.And I like the acceptance very much.

Wow , I didn't expect them to end up at the Dursley's. Duddly seems to be a bit of a bad-ass, he reeled off that excuse without batting an eye, qand the Dr just blinked and got on with it. And most inportant of all

yay, ron! whoda thunk it? altho i'm the founding member of the abr (anybody but ron) club it is nice to see a non-prat ron...occasionally. this was such and intriguing and satisfying story and i look forward to the epilogue. thanks and mucho smoochies

I must admit, I like Ron as long as he is her friend, not her lover/hubby. So I created him as her friend. Thanks for the review and the smoochies!
I was really worried for the first half of this chapter. I just knew Severus was going to just wither up and die. I'm sure Hermione would have only allowed him to stay cooped up by himself for only a day or two, but that might have been long enough for him to lose his battle. Never in a million years would I have thought that Ron would have been the one to snap Hermione out of her slump. Thank goodness he made her see the truth of what was happening between her and Severus.I can't wait to see how things have progressed in the epilogue. I've enjoyed every chapter of this story and will be sad when it's completed, but I'm also looking forward to the future that Severus and Hermione will have together.Beth

Hooray for Dudley "shoulders like a small wardrobe" Dursley! I absolutely love that description, by the way. 
I hope that Scrimgeour is at least slightly embarrassed about how much of an arse he was regarding Severus...if not, I imagine he soon will be once the stories get published in the Quibbler and the Prophet.Harry, Harry, Harry...you are not doing anything to cause Severus to revise his opinion of you as a "dunderhead"! I hope that at least Ginny and the baby are both well, and I am off to the next chapter to see!

I love the way Snape was flabbergasted by the who. And that was a lovely Ron.

This was so worth the wait. I would have loved to see Scrimgeour get his dues. Boy, those two are stubborn and who would'va thought that it would be Ron who figures everything out. I can't wait for the next update.

I am sure I will keep reading. I usually do unless something is badly written or spends too little time on Snape. LOL. I've read your stuff before so I think it must not have been badly written. I just need to make sure I've got my update bookmark added.
