Reviews for A Simple Plan
Glad to see another chapter added - Threw me for a loop though when Harry apperated them to the Dursley's! Update soon please!**And , by the way, another great story - Thanks
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! Next chapter will go into queue tomorrow; the ones after that need to be polished up a bit, though. Just as a warning ;-)
This is one of the best chapters yet in this story! The anguish of Severus' injury, the tense moments when Lucius entered the chamber, and finally the hilarity of Harry and Snape barging into the Dursley's! Dudley was magnificent. I loved the line:Dudley grinned, clearly delighted that, for a change, something interesting was happening in his parents' house.Yes, Dudley! Leave now, while you can! This may very well be the last interesting thing you see if you stay! As usual, bouncing in my seat for the next chapter...
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
Initially, I had no intention to have Dudley turn up in the story, but well, here he is. And he will have a most important part in the next chapter(s) *g*Thanks for reviewing!
Evil cliffie, but such a good chapter! Well done with Harry's temper cooling and rationality taking over and the to show up at the Dursleys! Glad to see at least one of them has acquired some sense and a good way of integating canon into the fic.Looking forward to seeing what happens next!
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
Usually, I don't give a damn about canon - too many people die - but well, I tried my best to keep everyone in character. Apart from Dudley ;-)Thanks for reviewing, and I'll update on Friday.
Response from Jinxie (Reviewer)
He he, canon's a side-order on fics: optional.Cheers for the heads up! ;)
Oh, I love this turn of events!! Harry, struggling to completely change his opinion of Snape--the Dursleys, dealing with the return of their hated nephew--Dudley, following the new course Harry had only just glimpsed the last time he saw him--Snape, under muggle medical care--and all of this utterly fascinating! Even some inadvertent help from Lucius--wonderful work, my dear!
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
Thank you so much for your lovely review! I wrote this story some years (!) back, and right now, need to adjust the upcoming chapters so they will work. I'll update soon, though - and thanks for reading and reviewing!
A little late for Harry to start thinking rationally, but I hope Severus does survive this.
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
Well, I think that much I can reveal: he will survive ;-)Thanks for reviewing!
I love that they ended up at the Dursleys' house. What fun!Great story. Very unpredictable. Getting more complex by the chapter. I can hardly wait to see what happens next.
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
I couldn't let them go to Hogwarts - wrote that in an other story, so I needed an alternative. My friend shell made me think of Dudley/the Dursleys, as we talked about the story nearly two years back. Next... well, I will post the next chapter on Friday...
I laughed my socks off reading the scene with Dudley. Well done as always!
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
*beams* Thanks so much, dear!
Woah, I didn't see that coming. Glad to see that Harry's finally starting to come to his senses somewhat. Poor Snape. Why must he suffer so? :(That's one hell of a cliffhanger. Great story!
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
Glad I didn't write a too-predictable story ;-) Cliffhanger will end on Friday - at least, the next chapter will go into queue then. Thanks for reviewing!
omg. that's that's....i'd start clapping but....damn
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
Wait with the clapping until you found out whether or not Harry killed Snape ;-)Thanks for reviewing, dear!
I have to read the rest, but it doesnt exist yet..or isnt posted. please dont let this become unfinshed.i like it alot, kept me on the edge of my seat.
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
Although I have lots of unfinished fics, they will remain on my harddrive unitl they are done or until I decide to let them go. this one is finishd, but not yet posted; next chapter is in queue. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
OMG! OMG! OMG! Please don't make him die. I understand Harry's fury and why Snape told him what he did, but he doesn't deserve to die. Plus Hermione will be furious with Harry. And she can be quite scarry. It would be a shame Harrry die from her hands.
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
Let me check - no, I didn't warn of character death, although I should have. After all, Voldy was killed ;-) I hope that puts you at ease until the next chapter is up, which will be soon. And thanks for reading and reviewing!
Well you warned me, so I was prepared for something bad. This, however, is not what I expected. This was a really good chapter. I liked how hard it was for Harry to reconcile his thoughts about Snape's words and behavior as they oscillate in his head. This was an evil cliffhanger, although I can't help but think that Snape is a smart man. He was making such a big deal about how much he enjoyed his present, and lets Harry see for himself, knowing that he was egging him on with the intent to kill Voldemort by sword. Surely he saw the end coming. I'm hoping it was all part of the plan, although I don't see how it would be. I guess that is why you are writing this and I am not :)I do hope you will update soon. Despite the fact that I feel confident that this is not the end for Snape, I really need to know what happens! And while I am rambling, I know that with Hermione's plan, it dulled the emotions surrounding the rape, but I still can't imagine how hard it would be for him to discuss it with such a fond recollection. Poor guy, you've quite abused him in this tale!
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
This, however, is not what I expected. This was a really good chapter. *lol* I hope you are not too disapointed that the chapter wasn't horrible ;-)True, Snape is smart, but he is also under a lot of pressure. Tricking Voldy, handling Harry, dealing with the memories of raping Hermione - he didn't see it coming, not at all. So right now, he is dying, bleeding out his life to the dusty floor. I swear, I will update soon so you can find out whether or not it is the end of Snape. And many thanks for your review!
Response from HBAR (Reviewer)
This, however, is not what I expected. This was a really good chapter. *lol* I hope you are not too disapointed that the chapter wasn't horrible ;-)Oh dear, that wasn't how it was supposed to sound, LOL. I would actually be shocked if you wrote a horrible chapter! And Snape dying, well, I'm not sure why I am actually attached to him in this story. It's certainly not one of his finest hours. But I do think that the effects in terms of Hermione would be bad. Despite her earlier fix, she may need him in her healing process. And even if she doesn't, the fact that Harry killed him, even for her sake, will probably affect her as well.I'm rambling again. If you want to shut me up, might I suggest posting quickly!
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
Oh, well, I like rambling, at least in reviews ;-) I must admit, I am always attached to Snape. Mostly, I find a happy ending for him, although I have written some truly dark stories. And here, I cannot help but think that he eans some happyness. As well as Hermione. If he survive, that is ;-)Posting this week. Promise!
yike! i think severus may have played his part too well! wonderful update. thanks and mucho smoochies
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
I can assure you he didn't expect to get killed by Gryffindor's sword ;-) I'll update soon, promise. And thanks for reviewing!
What's he going to do, make Voldie forget he wants world domination? ;)
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
*snigger* Nice idea. Have to try that in another fic, though. Thanks for reviewing, dear!
That was a unique solution! :)
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
;-) I had this chapter in mind and then created the rest around it. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Well, I just started reading this and haven't stopped yet to review. Now, as reading on is not an option, I will give you my thoughts. The first being, why on Earth did I start reading this before it was fully posted!?First let me say how very much I am enjoying this. But in reading it, I am feeling an unnamed emotion. Or rather I just can't decide how to feel. The beginning was brutal, but it was a fantastic start to the story. And I felt very sure that Severus was imperiused. I didn't feel any animosity towards him, as he has no way to control his actions. But then she was so mad and hateful towards him, that I started to agree with her. When she found him in the clearing, and saw how he was being affected, I felt sorry for him, but she was still so darn angry that it pulled me back to her side. When she was beating him, and he was just taking it, I then felt bad for her for feeling so out of control. So just when I think that things are going to calm down a bit, she goes to his room and gives him the potion and sets her plan in motion (oh, sorry for the rhyme). And what a brilliant plan. And a horrible plan. And a hopeful plan. And an unforgivable plan. She had no right to force him to go along with her plan and it made me feel a little sick that she was forcing him, even if she did sort of give him an out. But her reason for doing it was was well intended, and with both of their best interests in mind. Now he is planning God knows what and he is much too forceful and withholding of information from Harry for my liking. But again, it seems as though he was moved to act after thinking about Hermione's safety. So now that I have typed a small novel, I guess my point is that I am full of back and forth feelings and I'm not really sure what to think about anyone's thoughts or actions. Which is actually a good thing. This is one that I will be thinking on until the next chapter posts. Yikes, I was quite wordy. Trademark for me, I suppose. Anyway, looking forward to more!
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
I think what I wanted to show with the first few chapters of this story is how horrible rape is and how much the victim suffers. That I made the rapist a victim, too, was a bit of a risk - I had no intention of saying a rapist is a victim in general. But Snape is, they both suffer, and they both did/do horrible things. Now, though, the focus changes towards Voldy, and I am eager to hear what you have to say about the next chapter. Will end not nicely, just as a warning. Thanks so much for reading and leaving such a detailed review!
Very interesting so far! I loved it, especially the interaction between Snape and Hermione."...and Snape had the sudden urge to check if she slept on books as well." "Come on, I had you in my fingers only a few days ago, come on, don't hide, I know you're here somewhere! "These lines made me laugh. Hermione seemed to be calling her familiar. :D Thank you!
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
*beams* After the rather cruel start, I'm glad I managed to make you laugh.
What is happening? I trust Severus so I don't really worry, but you're getting me curious. Clearly he has no romantic intentions towards the recipient of the potion, as if any sane mind would do anything voluntarily with the beast. Eww.
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
Urgh, what a thought. I have never heard of the pairing Snape/Voldy before... though come to think of it... *g*You're right to trust Snape. But be warned, the next chapter won't end nicely. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
wow i like wow, new chapter i'm intruiged? X
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
I am curently drowned by RL issues, but promise to post the next chapter in a few days, lately. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Oh, dear heaven, what "simple" plan has he out into effect?! I'm glad to see that things are good (and getting better) between Severus and Hermione, but I am fearful of precisely how Voldemort and the memory potion fit into this. And Voldy himself must be on the other side of that door?!*hopes new chapter posts soon!!*
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
Oh, yes, Voldy is waiting, and he is in a lousy mood. And I think I called the plan "mad" as well ;-)Thanks for reading and reviewing!
I'm very curious as to what this simple plan is- but there's a severe flaw. Voldemort already knows Harry is immune to the Imperius- he tried it himself at the end of Goblet of Fire! Uh oh....
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
Oops... didn't think of that. I might change it, even, but anyway, it is not important to what happens next. Thanks for pointing this out to me. It's a while since I've read the books. And thanks for reviewing!
You are an evil little author for leaving this kind of cliffie. Please update soon or I will hunt you down with my torch and stand over you until the plot bunny and/or muse coughs up the rest of this story. See this is the irate mob of readers that now have to wait for the next chapter.Love ya. xxxxxxxoooooo There did I sweeten you up a bite to update sooner.Oh yea, loved the chapter. I don't know what Severus has in mind with Harry, but I like the fact that both Sev and Hermione are able to work through this.Sevibaby
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
Oh, don't worry, I will update soon, if getting asked so very nicely ;-) Problem is, the next chapter ends with an even worse cliffie. Hehehe! Thanks for reading and reviewing, dear, and I really like your mob!
Wow, I'm impressed by the lengths Severus will go to protect Hermione.
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
I think we can say he's somehow fond of her ;-)Thanks for reading and reviewing, dear!
This simple plan of Severus' sounds like a distinctly alarming one as well. I am very curious to see exactly what he has in mind, and what the Sorting Hat has to do with Severus abducting Harry and dragging him off to visit the Slimy Serpentine SOB.
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
*grin* Voldy isn't slimy, he's sort of dried out in this chapter. Not at the height of his power anymore and all. I promise to post the next chapter soon, and thanks for reviewing!
Oooh! What an interesting twist! I wasn't expecting this in the least. Great to see the update, looking forward to more!
Response from chivalric (Author of A Simple Plan)
Ha! Glad I managed to surprise you, and I promise to update soon. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
