Reviews for Quicksilver
So this whole thing is a set up for Percy? Good luck getting a ransom. No one wants him! lol. Great job.
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
Yes, all that planning and plotting for nothing.
Cute chapter. Hermione is so obnoxious I can see why Ron and Harry have stopped listening to her.
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
Thanks, although I thought Hermione in this chapter is less obnoxious than Hermione in canon.
I loved how you integrated the aspect of intergalactic so much more than anyone else! Oh, and Severus's thoughts were just hilarious! *applauds*
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
The initial authors had everything set up for me, and the final authors are left with the resolution. And thanks for the excellent beta work.
"Don’t number your egg-layers until they’ve broken out of the shell." Mwahahaha. I love that one. Most excellent chapter, Amita. The twists and turns keep you guessing.I can't wait to see what will happen next.
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
Yes, we'll have to see what the next authors hatch.
I loved the descriptions of Team Jupiter's antics during the match. That must have been quite a sight to behold! And giggle-snort for Hermione finding a Performance Enhacing potion in Malfoy's office. Great chapter, hon'!
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
Thanks, love! Can't wait to see how you wind this all up! :)
I adored Severus's thoughts while Hermione was explaining the Arimthmancy equations. TOO funny! Excellent chapter, Amita!
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
He may have been inclined to prove a proposition of his own.
“That tosser is out to make some quick silver at everyone’s expense." Yay, you worked quick silver in! What is it with Venusian ladies that has them all entranced? And I wonder what the magic ingredient in the Cosmic Sauce could be?
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
Ingredient in CosmicSauce? Space-cress. But perhaps we should bottle the Venusian sauce.
well, i will be interested to find out who is actually behind the evil plot if it's not these two. i am far less interested in lucius malfoy's sexual difficulties or proclivities, fyi. ;)
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
LOL. Thanks for the review, kitty! :)
i'd had the impression this story would be making the case that someone else was framing team mercury, but now it looks like they are cheaters after all. it was funny how no one had a ticket for poor ron for the quidditch match.
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
You never know! Thanks for the review!
Hey Sunny! Great Chapter! This story just keeps getting better! Much Love ~ Brena
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
Thanks, Brena! :)
So Pfitzer has a branch in the Wizarding World? ROFLI very nearly felt sorry for Rita Skeeter when Snape explained how to harvest a potion ingredient out of that very specific beetle.
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
LOL. Drug companies get in everywhere! :)
Well, the plot thickens with the Falsidicus Venificus and Ego Inflatus. Hermione seems to be a tough nut to crack, though.
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
She is. Thanks for the review! :)
Aha! Severus's behavior in the last chapter becomes clearer now. I wonder who could be behind these incidents?
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
It's a mystery! :0
Oh dear! Severus doesn't seem to be very honorable so far. I wonder what's going to happen next?
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
Things aren't always as they seem. Keep reading! Thanks for the review.
I'm loving this more and more with each chapter. Keep up the good work team Mercury.
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
Thanks,

Love the name Falsidicus Venificus for Rita in beetle form. Thanks for the footnote explaining the name, as I don't speak Latin.Very clever plot twist, they were feeding false information to Skeeter and even Granger.
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
We are so twisty people call us pretzels! :)
Lucius needing a performance enhancer - priceless. How could you not fit in sartorial in reference to the Malfoy peacocks, you slack wench?
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
C'mon, I used incarnadine; what more do you need? :P
"Hermione Granger an object of desire? For his father? For Snape? For both together? What would his mother say?"^ ROFL I think his brain just broke, poor dear. (Actually, I want to cuddle him there at the end. Or set him up with Harry, but maybe that's just me. ;) Hope he's as much on the up and up as he seems here.)The performance-enhancing potion was awesome, and I'm glad that most everyone is enjoying themselves in this chapter--even if they're kind of frustrated, too.Plus Severus's description of what he was going to do to Rita was beautiful. :D Very nicely done.
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
Yes, poor Draco is revising his opinion of Granger despite himself! :)
All Hermione needs to do is stamp around and yell and they fall all over her? Really? That was a cute use of Rita Skeeter.
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
Or have they been planning this for a while? ;)
This is the best chapter of the story thus far. I do love the way you write :)
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
Thanks! :)
Oh so Lucius is using an Enhancement potion? Or was it planted? Hermione's suspecions have merrit since Lucius did know Draco was right outside the window. ANd Severus and Lucius' comments about her 'body' and effect on thiers was funny.
Still, I believe that Draco is being sincere. I don't think he's in on his father's and Severus' schemes, but he's trying to be honest with Hermione.
Still, even if it's not Severus or Lucius -- the perp is setting them up, and doing a good job of it.
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
He was using it. Had a few problems, poor guy! :)
here you are Penny, seeing as i owe you!
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
Thanks for the review!

Come on, you could have at least said that Draco had just finished practice, and his pong was redolent of dirty socks.
Author's Response: Oh, my. You used redolent in a complete sentence. I'm so proud! :)

That was an interesting chapter - especially the Kneazles. Looking forward to the next installment.
Author's Response: Thanks! It is up now. Thank you for the review!
Great chapter, sunny! It was funny to see the reactions that Severus and Lucius had to Hermione, and her reaction to them too! I hope she finds the culprit!
Response from Mercury (Author of Quicksilver)
Thanks, deb! :)
