Reviews for Deliver Us
Crookshanks is quite the fashion critic, but he does have a point! When Hermione gets despressed, she does it with questionable style. Snape has arrived to see her at her worst and hasn't run screaming from the room. Things are most definitely looking up for Hermione!

Critique from a cat with a squashed face? I'd take that with a grain of salt. If Severus can withstand hygenically-challenged Hermione and her landfill of a flat, then he's a keeper. Thanks for reviewing. Team Venus loves you, MTS.
Gotta love a man who will clean house. good chapter.
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
So glad you liked the chapter. Hermione should feel honored; I imagine he doesn't wave his wand for just anyone on any occasion. Thanks for reviewing.
Keep him, Herms, he does housework! :)
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Domestic spells are performed only under duress, mind you. I imagine he has a house-elf to do the dirty work now that he's so well-to-do. Thanks for reviewing.
The future does look brighter. And I'm sure he can help her procure a job with no problem...
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
A bright future for both of them perhaps. Although I don't know what's in store for her career, I'm sure she'll do well because she's a brilliant, driven witch and a war heroine, too. Thanks for reviewing.
The beginning of this chapter threw me off, as I failed to see how this flowed from the previous, but I caught on. I understand where Hermione is coming from; depressed people do not keep house, as I know all too well. I assume Snape will be able to help pull her up from it. Good chapter overall.
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Glad you liked it. Hermione wasn't in a good place emotionally. Severus' visit will perhaps provide impetus for a change. Thanks for sticking with Team Venus.
Maybe if he provide her with neverending loads of hair serum he will get rid of her... *grin* But where would be the fun?
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Hello and thank you so much for the review and the lovely stars. Indeed, and much fun is ahead, so it would be sad to see Hermione depart :)
I'm assuming that the plan to be forgiving is a rather new one? (Although maybe I'm just remembering hopefully that Harry must have managed at least one shoddy apology at some point throughout their time at Hogwarts, lol.)I enjoyed the description of the library and Hermione's recognition of the, er, degrees to Severus's vitriol. The fish and chips dinner made me cringe in the last chapter (oh, Ron, I shake my head at you), so I'm glad to see it's out in the open and hopefully being moved past in now. ^_^Very interesting ideas about the Potions Order. I look forward to more.
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Hello and thank you so much for the review and the lovely stars. It means a lot to us all :)Harry never apologised, not with real meaning behind it. Hermione, however shoddy her apology was sincere in her meaning.I think Hermione more than anyone has the intelligence to read Severus' level of snark.I'm so glad you enjoyed the chapter and the ideas introduced within it. Much hugs :)
Nice chapter :) I'm interested in seeing how their relationship pans out. And lol at Snape making money through selling sex enhancement potions :D Loved that idea!
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Hello and thank you so much for the review and the lovely stars. It means a lot to us all :)Severus the God of Sex via potions and lotions sounds just about right to me :)
How refreshing it is to be reminded that there is magic other than Western magic. Thank you for sharing "Black Leila", the Order of Lao Tzu and the Ayurveda with us.And such an appropriate theme for Team Venus!
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Hello and thank you so much for the review. It means a lot to us all :)You're the first person to pick up on the thematic strand of love and sex being related to Team Venus. A special hurrah for you, my dear :)I think that's one of the biggest drawbacks of canon, that it does not really make much of magic outside Europe. There is a world of older magic out there, China and the Indian sub-continent being just a few of them. I hope you do continue to enjoy the rest of the story.
i love the quote that opened this chapter and i definitely liked the quiet truce at the end!
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Hello and thank you so much for the review. It means a lot to us all :)I'm so pleased to hear you enjoyed the quote and the way in which I brought them to a point of understanding at the end.
Good chapter. :) I like that he's learned something about not forgiving people and won't be like Lily in that regard. ~grin
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Hello and thank you so much for the review. It means a lot to us all :)I see Severus as a very intelligent man. Now that he's had time to reflect, I find it hard to believe that he would not have learned some valuable lessons from his friendship and the break-up of it.
This is great...
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Hello and thank you so much for the review. Love the stars :)
She seems tempted by his potions and his books. But what about the man himself? :)
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Hello and thank you for the review. I think the man himself is a given, hence her need to use Ron in the previous chapter to arouse his jealousy. But his potions and books are props that reiterate her interest in him.
A secret society? Interesting - I do see a mystery evolving here.I liked the Lily-theme: his true memories and feelings, how he compared her to Petunia (and the "blood will out" quote of Eileen, which reminded me of what was said about Harry's parents by his relatives) and that he's learned forgiveness out of Lily's behaviour.
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Hello and thank you for the review and the pretty stars. Not really a secret society, more of a specialised one that's interested in power, knowledge and skill, as opposed to changing political fabs, if you will. But yes, the comparison of Lily and Petunia stemmed from Petunia's own words. I found it likely that there would be some cross-over in thinking, given that they lived, came from similar georgraphical areas giving them similar kinds of backgrounds and thought processes, however hard they would have denied it.
I like this one a lot. Very good.

Hello and thank you for the review. I'm so pleased you like the chapter and have enjoyed our story thus far. :)
Forgiveness is a favourite theme of mine for writing and for living. I am so Glad to see Snape has learned that lesson. Thank you for a good update for this interesting Round Robin.
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Hello and thank you for the review. I'm so pleased you like the chapter and our story :) Severus has suffered so much in his life that I can't imagine him not learning about the value of forgiveness.
Interesting take on Severus's feelings for Lily! Can't wait for the next installment.
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Hello and thank you for the review. I'm so pleased you like the chapter and our story :)Lily always seems one dimentional to me in canon. There has to be more to her. Thank you for the lovely, shiny stars.
I like his realization of the real Lily, and enjoyed his comparison of her and Petunia. Also at the end, what he learned about forgiveness from her. It seems she did some good after all!
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Hello and thank you for the review. I'm so pleased you like the chapter and our story :)I find that odd really, that people don't compare Lily to Petunia. Surely there must be more to that story.Thank you too for the lovely stars.
I'm curious where this story is going. It is not apparent to me, so I'll be back for the next installment.
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Hello and thank you for the review. I'm so pleased you like the chapter and our story :)Excellent. That's what we like to hear. That there's still some mystery in the tale to encourage readers to return for the next installment.Thank you for the lovely stars.
This gets more interesting by the minute. I liked the last bit where he vowed not to make the same mistake as Lily. Oh, and could you please send me a catalog... I'd like to order some of his products ;)
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Hello and thank you for the review. I'm so pleased you like the chapter and our story :)I'd love some of his products too :)
I really liked that Snape has decided to forgive people because Lily wouldn't forgive him. I like that he can learn from other people in that way, even if he IS being a pain about his meetings with Hermione.
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Hello and thank you for the review. I'm so pleased you like the chapter and our story :)I guess he wouldn't be Severus if he wasn't a pain about things :) Though Severus not learning from his past mistakes would be foolish beyond measure, and no one could really call Severus Snape a fool.
I'm liking this story but confess I have no idea what to expect for the next chapters!Looking forward for an update!
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
