Reviews for Deliver Us
Hey Hermione Diggory! You've really emodied the deadly sin of Gluttony here with this chapter. I can't wait to see what happens next! Much Love ~ Brena

Thanks for the compliment,

! And thanks especially for taking the time to review, it's greatly appreciated! *HUGS*
Really good story. I personally can't wait to see Severus' inner sensualist
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Thanks, I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying our story! And thanks for taking the time to review. :)
I'm a little uncomfortable with Severus's description of Hermione as a prize to be won--especially given how scathing he is of everyone else he thinks has less than perfectly honourable intentions--but I am otherwise pleased by his looking deeper than simply her loveliness to her compassion and forgiveness. It's been interesting to see how much Lily is being lambasted in this fic, lol--different from having her as angelic perfection, of course--and I look forward to seeing how the relationship between Hermione and Severus unfolds. ^_^
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Yes, I think Severus' viewing Hermione as a prize to be won may bite him in the arse at some period fast coming. As for Lily, I think the fact that she obviously forgave the Marauders for repeatedly attacking Severus, four against one, yet Severus made one verbal slip in the heat of the moment and it's unforgivable? *Snort* Angelic Lily, indeed. Thanks for taking the time to review. :)
I lliterally ate my way thru this yummy chapter, but since I already had a considerable arse and paunch, I can't blame my figure on your very realistically tempting writing. Since I lack magical means of Banishment, I shall have to ask Santa to give me a Wii Fit program for C'mas.
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Better yet, how about a magically-enhanced Wii Fit? You merely think about exercising and it's done! :DGlad to hear you enjoyed my chapter, and thanks for taking the time to review! :)
i know this is terrible, but all i can think of is that scene in spaceballs when mel brooks is like "why didn't anyone TELL me my ass was this big!" great chapter, hon!
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
The mental images of Severus in Spaceballs... LMAO!Thanks for taking a moment to review, it's much appreciated! :)
i know this is silly, but i love stories that involve food ;)
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
But that's not silly at all. Hermione loves food, maybe a little too much in this chapter. Thanks for reviewing.
All he needs is a little cardio.
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
I think that's exactly what Severus has in mind... a little sexually-charged cardio. :DThanks for reviewing!
Hmm... Perhaps she herself might be the antidote to this wizard's middle-aged pudginess and the ultimate solution to getting his body back in shape, Severus thought with a devilish smirk. He he, gee I wonder what kind of activities they could be doing to get him back in shape. ;) But now he's intending to act on his interest - this ought to be a good show between them!
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
I'm sure Severus can come up with plenty of interesting activities to keep his new exercise routine from becoming too boring. ;DThanks for taking the time to review!
So it begins. Now who's stalking whom - I'm surprised he showed up at her door this time, but she's going to make the most of it isn't she? Good lass!
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Where Hermione used to track him down for job purposes, Severus sought her out because he was concerned about her absence. It's not like Hermione to miss appointments, and he knew something was out of sorts even before he visited her flat. His sudden appearance was exactly what she needed to jump start her motivation once again. Thanks for the review and the lovely stars.
So what's Hermione going to do with the knowledge that Severus is behind Sensuality and Sexuality? Blackmail herself a lifetime supply of haircare products in exchange for her silence?Interesting that he'll forgive her readily for her comments about Lily in their last meeting and allows her to do her work, but won't let her do her work on a normal basis. Is she going to have to routinely do housecalls now?
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Hello and thank you so much for the review and the lovely stars :)I think Hermione turning up to apologised threw him off his game a bit. The fact that she's not using her knowledge against him will I think force him to look at her differently as well.

Oh the tension between Hermione and Severus is golden - whether they're willing to admit it or not they want each other, especially with her trying to make him jealous! Too funny!
I nearly fell off my seat laughing when you described Snape checking himself out in the mirror and contemplating his back-side.That must have been a sight to behold.I like his thinking - sex for loosing weight. That's my man :-)
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
That's our Severus and his Slytherin approach to slimming! :PThanks for reviewing!
lol... One way to lose weight. Wish I'd thought of that, actually!
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Exercises all the muscle groups, is a great way to relieve stress and it's fun besides. That's our sensualist Severus, finding the most pleasurable way to get back in shape. ;)
Thanks for taking the time to review!
I think every woman has, at one point or another, looked in the mirror or tried to put on old jeans and had Severus' reaction. *gropes him* Really funny!
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Oh yeah, we've all had those moments. Thanks for taking the time to review. :)
I admit, from the start I was wondering if this chapter was from another story--it was a very abrupt change of tone and setting. Crooks makes a lovely Carson Kressley. But I am really having trouble with frat-boy-esque Hermione. Downing chocolates and getting plump is one thing, but becoming a total slob seems OOC for someone who's generally obsessive about organization, especially under stress. I enjoyed the chapter, though, and I'm interested to see where this story goes.
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
It was Hermione's time to shine, so to speak, after two Severus-centric chapters. A slothful Hermione with a lack of personal hygiene and flat full of trash is terribly OOC (sloth is a tough sin to characterize), but I wanted her depression to peek through the humor of her situation. She was beginning to pull herself out of the doldrums, and Severus provided a push of sorts, plus a sexy, snarky incentive to get her life back on track. Glad you liked it. Thanks for reviewing.
Severus living in the Himalayas is a great twist! Such a difference from the industrial town of his childhood and the subaqueous dungeon of Hogwarts. Please tell me he has a yak!
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Hello and thank you for the review. No yak I'm afraid. He does have a potions garden with really interesting plants, however.
I'm going to agree with snitchette--the first two paragraphs were a big chunk of literary reference (ten points for "No Exit" though) and inner exposition, which made it a bit hard to get right into the action. But the snark is spot-on, and the sexual tension is violin-string tight. On to chapter 2!
I love Severus' monologue, especially when he discivers his new, rounded bottom. *snicker* I'm sure the delicious Miss Granger woulnd't want it any other way. After all it has to be a bit plump to sink one's teeth in it... *grin and wink*
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Not to mention for having a healthy handful to grab onto in the midst of more... vigorous activities. ;)Thanks for taking a moment to review!
So well done! I like Severus, the inner sensualist, but I think he's a closet Gryffindor, sprawled on his burgundy and gold duvet. However, he put his Slytherin cunning to work, devising a plan to seduce Hermione. Well, she does deserve the best, right?
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
I've always thought that Severus has a lot of both Gryffindor and Slytherin in him, quite a formidable combination. And he does deserve to explore and enjoy his sensual side, something that he had hardly been afford for the greater part of his life. And I quite agree, Hermione deserves the best ...good thing that Severus has apparently decided he's pleased to oblige.
LOL I really enjoyed the insight into his ponderins about Hermione and Lily. I think this is the truest version of Lily I've seen. Very nice chapter.
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
I've always imagined Lily as being both superficial and an opportunist. Glad to hear you enjoyed my chapter. Thanks so much for taking the time to review!
The idea of Severus checking himself out in the mirrir was funny. Nice job.
Response from Venus (Author of Deliver Us)
Thanks!
Snape at his finest, most cuttingly nasty (and yet soooo vulnerable.) I admire that you don't flinch from reminding us that he was bitten unto death by Nagini, but cast a lusciously vague magical sense of his somehow being brought back from the brink.
Intriguing start. I look forward to next week's chapter.
An interesting start. Severus jealous? Hmmmmm? I think you have a point. Can't wait for the update.
Quite a smooth string of words.
