Sad chapter, it must have been hard for Adin to admit he was alone in the world.  Even as an adult he was so isolated.  I'm hoping his stint of being a teen again will help him to be less socially retarded when he returns as Severus.

Hmm, her reaction to the fib about his mother's notes was too real; so I guess she still hasn't figured it out.  He's lucky she's too besotted by him to apply her brain to it.

Her matter-of-fact dealing with Severus not asking her out is an awesome payoff to how she handled Ron back in her fourth year, and it worked.  The image of them cuddled together is so powerful, but poor Hermione must be very frustrated by now.

And the plot thickens... I hope Albus won't be a prat and try to break them up.  Maybe Severus should stay as Adin and start anew.

I enjoyed their closeness at the party.  You did a wonderful job conveying the intensity even with such innocent contact.

Quite frankly, if I were in Hermione's shoes I would not have pushed away from him.

Fun chapter, it was very natural how Severus is having 'girl' problems.  The teen years are so full of angst.

Poor Severus.  It must be difficult being a teen again.

I agree with Severus, the kids did deserve a second chance.  I bet he was surprised by Hermione's compassion.

All in all this story is shaping up to be a really good read.

I love the fact that Severus now has a pet and seems to be making friends.

Ah, when it rains it pours for dear Severus.  Well, at least you didn't have him dead from a snake bite in a dirty old shack.

Poor Severus ... he can't quite seem to shake the idea that people will automatically loathe him once they learn his true identity, nevermind that they have had the opportunity to truly get to know him as 'Adin'. Not to mention the fact that Hermione has already expressed obvious concern for Professor Snape. I do hope Severus decides to come clean with her as Luna suggested, for his sake. Hermione's no slouch in the brains department ... if he doesn't tell her soon, she'll end up figuring it out for herself. BTW, did I mention how much I absolutely love this story?

the trauma of moving seamlessly from passion to inquisition to consternation to contrition was rather too much for his seventeen-year-old self to process smoothly—bloody hell, it was too much for anyone with a y-chromosome to process.
You had me laughing on my own for a good two minutes and people were beginning to look at me very oddly.

But this sentance is so accurately describing all the passionated feelings that are running through the story since a couple of chapters. This is just brilliant.

gah! this chapter has deprived me of the power of words.  *shakes it off*  it's the balance between giving him everything he never got to have, and maybe even never really allowed himself to want, only he doesn't REALLY get to have it, so it's just even more devastating.  i am enthralled, and loving every minute of the agony, and looking forward eagerly to every next bit of it.

As I keep saying and will do till it happens (if it happens lol). Severus should tell who he is, I don't think it will make a bit off difference for when he has to go back to Severus Snape the sexy potions master lol.
