Heart-breaking.

Oh, I have been so nervous about how the big reveal was going to go.  I don't know why because you never ever disappoint (in any story).  This was perfect!  Well, until the end where he wrecked it by being so...himself.  Wonderful chapter, can't wait for more!

I'm glad you didn't end the chapter after Hermione said she loves severus. I really LOVED this chapter and I can't wait for the next one. Please don't leave me hanging to long.

I am hoping you take this as a compliment, but I didn't stop to review each chapter!  I just kept reading and reading, and pretending to check my e-mail.  Bad me!  My family thought I was doing something work-related.

I normally don't care for student/teacher romances, but you've made this one plausible and somehow acceptable to me.  thanks for sharing this wonderful tale, which I am adding to my favourites.

I love how Severus is getting a chance at a happy time as an adolecent.  It is so sweet.  His reactions and internal struggles are very well-done, you make them seem so truthful and natural. 

What can I say?  I went from breathless to crying to angry to crying all in the same chapter.  I don't cry over fanfic -- Subversa, this story rocks!!!!  You're one of the best writers to date in the realm of JKR's Harry Potter, but please fix this mess that Sev has gotten himself into.

of course, she would figure it out. she's wildly perceptive albeit in a very different way than our beloved luna. i wonder though about those books, you've got me very curious... did any of them also have something to with her figuring it out or is she just researching for the special project?

this was a beautiful chapter... a bit sad at the end and bittersweet but beautiful. what's life without a little dark chocolate anyway? severus for some reason always reminds me of dark chocolate-rich, complex, and bittersweet-and without my daily dose of one of them (the chocolate or severus) life just doesn't seem as complete... lol!

i always love what you write but this is one of my favorite stories. thanks for a great update... i am really looking forward to seeing what's up next!

Ok, This is the first time I've left a review and I've read many of your stories. I enjoyed them all and this chapter had me in suspence I loved it and you had me crying and I'm waiting for more and anticipating it thanks.

Severus is such a bonehead!!!! GREAT!!!!

(*Looking very smug*)  It would appear that I called it -- again! -- when I stated in my last review that Adin/Severus would almost certainly give into temptation sooner or later.  Now we'll have to see whether the other part of my theory is correct -- that Hermione will end up pregnant as a result of this encounter.  I can't recall whether Hermione has been made aware of the prophecy or not -- if so, perhaps she's realized that one possible interpretation suggests she needs to have a child in order to save Severus, so maybe she seduced him deliberately with the intention of getting herself pregnant. Then again, she's never been one to put much stock in Divination -- so maybe it will be unexpected.  At any rate, when Hermione began disguising her books so that Adin/Severus couldn't read them, I more or less guessed that she already knew who he really is and was trying to keep him from finding out that she's studying something relating to him instead of studying for her NEWTs.

Severus and his misplaced sense of honor. One could write a book about it *wink*.
Really sometimes I want to slaep him on the head to make him see reason. He can be so frustrating.

ohhhhhhhhhhh  how very bittersweet.  I am so glad she figured it out but he needs to learn to look with his heart and feel all the love she has for him.

NOOOOOOOO! He is so Stuborn! Can't he just LET HER LOVE HIM??? I have a feeling that she will love him anyway. And when they break this dark spell so he can go back to his older self, she will seek him out and prove it!

Ok so as relieved as I am to know that Hermione has, in fact, figured out just who Adin is, I should have expected him to react negatively.  I just hope that Hermione can talk some sense into him before he does something truely stupid like oblivating her -- or trying to anyway.  Thanks for sharing this wonderful story.  I look forward to each installment eagerly.  JoAnne
