ah i hope the only reasons severus took gryffindor was its unlikelyhood and hermione. otherwise id think he'd hate being in that house and want to keep watch over his slytherins. but maybe his house might know him too well, no?

ahh the moment with dean was nice. i like actually all his time spent with the gryff boys so far.

as an adult he had made a point of always dressing in a manner calculated to draw the least possible attention to him—odd that his manner of dress had become, instead, one of the singular things about him upon which his students and colleagues had always commented. heh

i like all the things he got for himself: the clothes, broom, familiar...
and yay he gets to blend in with students from other schools and has already started.

Hello, I am exploring this site after reading some story on ff.net which had an unedited version at this site. Nice to see all your work here! I have read most of your fiction but not on this site, maybe on ashwinder. I especially enjoye dyour very long fic about all the couples although I like my fics a bit darker with byronic snape figures, lol! This fic seems promising so far, maybe after this I will start rereading some of your older works since it has been a few years since I read them. This one seem sto be au too. It is nt new the plot of Snape having to impersonate a student when Hermione is at school but it always remains itneresting.

What a great story!  I really enjoyed it, especially that Snape gets a chance to live a real life, and not one that has been decided for him.  I look forward to your future stories!

Maybe he's gotten everything figured it out.  I like how Hermione thinks that she's special for being an insufferable know-it-all and has a breakdown when Snape refers to Allison that way.  Don't know if I'd consider it a good thing.

Wonder what Snape has to do, best read the next chapter then.

So she had everything figured out after Christmas, and sets up this lovely get together in Firenze's classroom, only for Snape's self deprecating ways get in the way of them being happy.  Oh well, wouldn't be a story if there wasn't something getting in the way of things.

Yay for Neville!  I love it when there's a courageous, protective Neville for any of the other Gryffindors.

Looks like Snape is having more difficulties in sorting out his Adin/Severus personas.  Hope he's able to work it out and Hermione will accept either and both.

Poor Snape, having to work out whether he should be Hermione's friend (or more) after being someone he's not to cause her to like him, then there's the prophecy....its all so confusing.   I'm glad they went to the party together though.

first of all, let me just say that I love your Author's Note, delivered in the tone of a lawyer in court.  Hee!

I think the premise of this story--that snape could successfully pass as a 17 year old gryffindor--very silly.  I don't think he could do it.  that being said, your story is a delight to read.  I find it clever; I wouldn't have put snape in gryffindor but it works well.   the acceptance by the quidditch team I think is inspired.  overall, I really like this.

What started out as angsty-"I-don't-deserve-her"-Snape finally came out with a happy ending after all - Yay! And I love that not only did he decide he deserves happiness, but that he stayed young. I know I was expecting him to be changed back, and Hermione would still love him, yada yada, but that's been done.  This was was a nice surprise seeing him choose the new start instead. What an enjoyable read!

What a sweet ending to a charming tale.

Oh, Sub, I've fallen in love with Aiden, too.  Thank you so much for letting him stay young; it would have never occured to me that it was a possibility.  His conversation with Albus is so many things he should have said all along; you show us before you tell us that he is willing to fight for his happiness.  Throughout this whole story, the stormy passion beetween Aiden and Hermione erupts from the 'page' into the imagination.Now his birthday is his twice, and now he's fought for his happiness.  (Can you tell how much I love that concept!) It is entirely possible that I've found a new favorite story.  I'll have to read it a few more times to know for sure, but not right now.  Right now, the 'regular bloke' image at the end is too wonderful to tarnish.

I waited for you to finish posting to read (and comment) as once I start I can't stop reading your stories.

I started reading this on Saturday and had a hard time stoping to do my own writing and taking care of my family.  This was a wonderful story.  Very well written and fleshed out.
