Oh, it truly does, but it doesn't outshine the magic that love can bring.

So enjoying the struggle between them - the realizations of what they are trying to do - and the inate humor in your writing - An image of the two of them, arm in arm on the couch, flashed through his mind. Thank you! This was one of my favorite chapters, because we really got some good back and forth between our two belovedly snarky men.
Yours is an interesting story so far. I cannot resist pointing out a rather egregious vocabulary error, however. The "Annunciation" is, in Christianity, the angel Gabriel's revelation to Mary, the mother of Jesus, that she would conceive a child to be born the Son of God. Clearly, the word you wanted was "enunciation"--the art of speaking clearly and distinctly. Wherefore art thou, betas?

LOL. Giant whoops there! My beta is usually quick to point out things like that. (And she'd have probably phrased her correction in much the same way you did, too.) I can't fault her, though. We're all hoping for that, aren't we? He's got the book now. Hopefully, he'll commit it to memory. 
Great story so far, but now I'm confused. What happens when he gets back? Does he remember all that happened over the last 2 years? Should Snape put some relevant memories away so Sev doesn't blow it by forgetting important stuff?Remind me to NEVER try and write a Time Turner story. :)

Ah, that's the big question, isn't it? I think I can divulge that he will get a memory dump and recall the next/last two years when he returns. I think that, inherently, he'll be aware of the really important stuff. You know... that huge fight they had where they broke up and now she's marrying Weasley instead. Things like that. 
Oh, by the way... never try and write a Time-Turner fic! Actually, I highly recommend them. There are millions of ways you can do them, and all are somewhat plausible. It's just a matter of getting all your facts straight in the end without having a headache!
BUSTED!! I'm still snickering at them getting caught by Minerva, even if she is correct. What a fantastic date. I do hope Severus coaches Snape a little bit more to help him out of his shell.Great job!

But he's snarky enough to pull it off.I think you're right too, Hermione's musings really were the understatement of the year. But with such a wonderful date behind her, I'm sure it would be tough to describe her feelings in words. Thanks!

I like the chapter, I have to be careful and remember which Snape is which [this is what happens when you have exams and then full first weeks of the quarter, you don't get to read stories and lose track of all the important stuff. =)]anyway, looking foward to the next chapter.

My exams did go well, thanks for the wishes. Now I've only got 6 weeks before the next round. (but then there's summer, which is great.)It's not so tough to figure it out after they first meet each other...it'd just been a while since reading so I had to go back and look at the previous chapters after having read it again. But now I'm back on track and hope to keep up with the story so I won't be confused again. =)

I can't help but think that Snape the younger will manage to mess things up profoundly!I really, really liked the setting for the date you created. And Minerva catching them redhanded was the icing on the cake.

I wonder how Snape will manage to take his place back. After all Severus has had many long lonely nights to think this relationship over and how he'd like it to turn out. !will Hermione sense the difference between the two? That would be such a funny thing if she went to be face to face with the two Severus Snape *grin*
