It really is too bad the older Snape couldn't stay! But hopefully, younger Snape will not blow it.

Yip. I can see Snape, having survived the war, truly regretting not going for what would make him happy. Although I think this is going to get a bit muddled, I am glad he is finally considering his own happiness.

She did the right thing. She's no dummy. She can see the potential with Severus.
Quick and easy decision to make, Hermione and Ron I don't think have ever been suited. Maybe Rowling thought Ron grew up in the 19 year break, but I doubt it. Glad to see Hermione might end up with someone she is better suited for...course I had better keep reading to make sure that's who she ends up with.

I'm sure Ron did grow up some, but his jealous streak is a mile wide. Also, he couldn't care less about knowledge, something that Hermione can't live without. I would think that whatever attraction they have would grow old when faced with someone who really doesn't understand you.
Poor Snapes...Severus at least should have known that Hermione would not take kindly to the fact that she was being manipulated in order to please what could be one man's whim. Guess they'll just have to wait to see what happens. And while they wait, I'll go to the next chapter and find out without the wait. ;-)

I think Severus did know, but he knew this was his only chance too. He took the risk.
I'm so glad that everything worked out in the end for our couple. Taking a chance on going back in time to try to give her the love she deserved was the most romantic thing he could done for her. Fantastic story. Well done! :D

Great story to get over all the HBP movie blues...if I could turn back time I'd have JKR re-writing that particular ending in DH..and let's just scrap that epilogue altogether!Brilliant how the 2 Severus's would bounce from each other.
