I am a classically trained singer with three children. I love Star Trek and have watched probably every episode of every series. Favorite HP charaters are Snape and McGonagall. (not as a couple.)
Reviews for If Only I Could Turn Back Time
While Severus would likely disregard other's opinions, I'm glad to see him listening to himself. ~sounds funny~ Can't wait to see what happens at dinner. Loved it!
Response from debjunk (Author of If Only I Could Turn Back Time)
Well, he knows he can trust himself, whether he likes himself or not! We'll have to see if Snape has what it takes to hook Hermione.
I'm really looking forward to how you will pull this off. Time travel where you are changing your own past. An interesting concept.I liked how he got his younger self to act on his feelings. Let's wait for the path of action he is going to choose.
Response from debjunk (Author of If Only I Could Turn Back Time)
Thank you! And it's also interesting that he chooses this point in time instead of going back and fixing that silly decision to take the Dark Mark. I guess love truly does conquer all. We'll just see how well his persuasions work. Nothing ever comes easily for Severus Snape, does it?
why do I think his first attempt will be pathetic?
Response from debjunk (Author of If Only I Could Turn Back Time)
Oh, probably because you know him all too well!
This is going to be fun! But it's kind of like the blind leading the blind ... Severus never tried to "woo" his Hermione when he had the chance, plus he's not exactly Mr. Experience to begin with. LOL
Great update, I can't wait to see where you take it from here!
Response from debjunk (Author of If Only I Could Turn Back Time)
It really is the blind leading the blind, but Severus has had two years, and especially those seven months that Hermione has been engaged, to mull everything over. At this point, he's the more outgoing of the two. (If a Snape could ever be labeled as outgoing.)
that was cute, i can't wait to read more!
Response from debjunk (Author of If Only I Could Turn Back Time)
Thanks! And thanks for taking the time to read.
I really like how you used Snape and Severus to disassociate the two... it's still all rather confusing, though. As amusing as it is. ^_^
Response from debjunk (Author of If Only I Could Turn Back Time)
It is a bit confusing. Hopefully, things will be clearer as we go along.
Two against one, that's hardly fair. Mind you, the one is willing to play... :)
Response from debjunk (Author of If Only I Could Turn Back Time)
All's fair in love and war. Yup, yup. At this point, I think the one would be ecstatic if he decided to make a move. Let's hope Snape can pull it off.
just jumped on and am ejoying hte interplay between Snape and Severus immensely! THanks for your hard work - looking forward to seeing him (them?) get the girl!
Response from debjunk (Author of If Only I Could Turn Back Time)
Thanks! I'm glad you did jump on. You got on early, so you'll get to see all the fun first hand. (and it'll definitely be a joint effort.) *laughs maniacally*
oh this is fantastic! what a delicious concept and they (snapes) are soooo right about hermione and ron. doomed from the start no matter what jkr said! great update. thanks so much
Response from debjunk (Author of If Only I Could Turn Back Time)
Yeah, I just don't see Ron and Hermione ever really working out. He's jealous, they bicker all the time, she's miles above him in intelligence. All of that really stacks up against them. Glad you liked this, kimjo!
Wow! This promises to be soooo exciting. I hope I can read more soon.
Response from debjunk (Author of If Only I Could Turn Back Time)
Thank you! I'm working on getting the next chapter ready for posting.
Now that was easier than I thought...
Response from debjunk (Author of If Only I Could Turn Back Time)
Well... it ain't done yet. Hermione makes her entrance in the next chapter, and we'll see if Snape can 'woo' her.
This presents the opportunity for all sorts of exciting scenarios.
Response from debjunk (Author of If Only I Could Turn Back Time)
Yup, yup. Sure does. All sorts!
That's great that he managed to talk himself into making a move on Hermione.
Response from debjunk (Author of If Only I Could Turn Back Time)
It is. We'll see just how successful he is in the next chapter.
Response from luvsev (Reviewer)
I hope he is successful. BTW, I just love following this story!
You have got to figure out how to add Cher's song If I Could Turn Back Time to this story some how. ITS PERFECT! I love how Snape can talk to himself in the past, this is great fun!!! I am looking forward to the next bit.
Response from debjunk (Author of If Only I Could Turn Back Time)
Huh, I'll have to ask SW if that's possible. Even if it is, I'm not sure I'm smart enough to do it. I can barely get the html tags into my story! (JK) But, yeah, it works well. It's really fun to have Severus converse with himself. Oh, the possibilities!
Well, I'm very interested how this is going to continue. The thing with time travel is that it is always illogical because technically you can't change the past (and don't have to) because it's already happened, right? That is the cool thing about PoA, you find out at the end that everything fits.I'm looking forward to seeing how your time-travel works out.Great chapter, I loved the stuffed animal story!!gab
Response from debjunk (Author of If Only I Could Turn Back Time)
Thanks, gabi! I'm a big sci-fi fan. Basically, the whole time travel thing sets up a paradox. Like if you went back and accidentally or on purpose broke up your grandparents, how would you ever go back to the past in the first place? You wouldn't exist, supposedly. But you were the one who broke them up. It's all very confusing. Maybe that's why I like it. I did like the consistency of the past in PoA. Everything did really fit right in to what happened, or was known about, before.
Very promising start to a story. I love romance!!!More, please?

Thank you! The next chapter is in the queue, so it should be up soon.
