Whew!  Hot stuff, and very... positive?  good?  extra-consensual, making sure she enjoyed herself? sex scene. I do like it when he (whichever HE it is) makes extra sure that she's having fun, and you, dear author, acknowledge that most couples do not have simultaneous orgasms, after five minutes of intercourse.  *approving pat on back*

I like this chapter!  Not to say that I haven't liked the last seventeen, but Hermione's first two letters were very funny, or maybe more illustrative than funny.  Reminds me of some of the letters I've sent home over the years.  Poor dears, stupid Paris, and I do hope Severus doesn't go much worse than he already has over this.

What a lovely story! (I know it started out pretty dark, but life is not always lolipops and rainbows.) The growth of the characters was superb, I love how you depicted Severus, hard on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside. I think that is how he truely would have been, a sensitive man that through life's hardship's had to learn how to block that part of him from those that wished to harm him. Anyway, enough rambling from me, this was a job well done.

I'm not really into dark fics, but love your writing, and know that you love a happy ending as much as me, so will press on.
