I like your idea that the pair of them come together as a result of so many having been wiped out in the war. I don't think I've read one with that plot.

A very interesting first chapter! I especially liked the respect you made Severus and Hermione have for eachother. First of all that makes them more equal, seccond it makes me hope that this story will "start" on another level than the usual "snarky bastard hates all know-it-alls", and thus give us a new twist to the story. But most of all; it is logical based on what they have gone through, their life will never be the same, they have fougth, survived and won a war where almost everyone they knowed have died, to not fell respect for the ordeal they have been through would not only disrespect the other, but also all those who died!

Thank you! There will be during the next couple chapters some "tension" since they technically are teacher and student. However, it will quickly dissolve as they are forced to take on new roles- especially for Hermione. But instead of "snarky bastard hates all know-it-alls", it will be more snarky Severus and sharp-tongued Hermione goading, teasing, and flirting. Definately there is a dramtic shift that will take place the day they walk out of that infirmary! I hope you continue to like the story!Livvy

Livvy, I am really like this one... very interesting to see that mostly everyone died, so that they will be pulling together to survive... very well done.

I didn't think this chapter was boring at all but a necessary part of the plot. Things had to be explained. All is all so very sad. Very appropriate to give Hermione Harry's body, by the way.

Brilliant ending! I love when a story ends on an upswing, still leaving something out there for the reader to follow, but bringing that chapter and plot to a close. Very well done!
