Great Chapter! I really do love the interaction between the two, and with Poppy telling tales of school day hijinxs and then Snape flirting...in a round-about way at least :)Can't wait to see where this goes!Thank you for the great chapter! :D

I enjoyed this chapter because it's the first showings of how compatible Severus and Hermione are together. He now sees her as the woman she's become, and is starting to be taken with her. Hermione also senses the change in their relationship, and is very comfortable with this development. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Interesting story and I look forward to reading more. My only criticisms are that we Brits do NOT go 'nutters'. You can be 'a nutter' but you cannot 'go nutters': the phrase doesn't exist. And 'bugger all' isn't an exclamation, it just means 'nothing' (as in 'There's bugger-all in my bank account' or 'I really ought to have done some work today but I've actually achieved bugger-all.' The exclamation would just be 'Bugger!'I'm still enjoying your story though. :-)

Thanks! I went online to find British slang and just took what I saw. I'll make the one change, but can you give me another word to put in there instead of "nutters". In the U.S. we'd stay, "he went off the wall or bonkers, crazy, insane, etc." but I would like to have a real British slang word there. Any suggestions would be great.Thanks for reviewing!Livvy

You have balanced this chaptor with just the right amount of sadness and mirth that a lot of writers could not have pulled off. Excelent chaptor. Looking forward to the next chaptors to watch their relationship grow. I'm sure their will bumps along the way.

Lovely chapter, nice bit of sexual awareness, he sees her as she is now, not as a little girl. But why is she wearing a uniform now?

I can imagine this scene very well. I'm surprised Severus didn't have a stroke if Slughorn left that much of a mess:(But working together on a common goal is a comforting thing, and this chapter is very well done, grounding the story in a foundation of reality:) Well... She will find herself unable to handle the grief alone and they will come to a realization that they only can turn to each other for understanding of what it was like to survive the battle.More sexual tension, more friendly banter, a little flirting, and also some very sad parts as well. I hope you like it!Livvy

Just read the three chapters posted. WoW, Big Bang, Green Light everywhere, and Bella saves the Mudggleborn's life! Great concept with these two being the only battle survivors - but, I just have one question at this point... are they both still nakkid under those sheets or did Poppy come up with something for them to wear? We read, clothes off, but we never read clothes on.

WoW! The killing curse all around! And then waking up to see everyone dead except themselves... horrid!

I love how he noticed her laugh at the end--I always have thought laughing is so sexy--so hopefully this will lead him to think that too!

The potential to slip into a really depressing tale is great, so there has to be some humor and levity to make it all well rounded.I hope you keep liking it!Livvy

Oh wow, this is definitely a different take on the Final Battle. I have wondered what would happen if noone, or very few survived. I think Hermione and Severus will have a good relationship from the beginning, since they will have that fact in common. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

It is told in Hermione's first person POV and besides the beginning of the Fianl Battle, nothing is similiar. I did contact the author and she gave me her best wishes on the fic. I'm very conscious about plagarism. But, if you had thought of that scenario about minimal survivors, give that one a go.Cheers,Livvy

excellent chapter. Sadness is laced with laughter, sometimes hysterical nervous laughter, but life goes on. I am glad you are not making this all gloom and doom, that's not what I read fiction for. Thanks for another enjoyable chapter.
