I picked up the Harry Potter fandom around the time the first movie came out and began writing fanfic early 2005 after discovering the adult online community. I identify most closely with the Slytherins and you will see my taste in writing lends me to writing about Slytherins more often than not. In addition to fanfiction, I also make fanvids on the Harry Potter fandom. I'm a Perfect Imagination acredited beta and am willing to help authors. My main 'ship interests are Snape/OC (never really got into the SS/HG pairing) and LM/any female (with HG as a new favorite). I have dabbled in RL/OC and RL/NT and am okay with those pairings. I generally shy away from slash, just not my thing. For updates on my writing, check out my Live Journal

I hope you do a sequel - I think the ending calls for it. Good job!
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
Thanks for all the reviews. And yes, a sequel will be coming, just need some time and the end of voting to get there. :D
Thank you for updating so fast, it makes reading far more enjoyable.I think you should not end this story here, in my opinion, it still leaves us with a few questions : will Hermione and Harry (or Ron) make up? How will her relationship with Severus develop? And what about the Malfoys? So I vote for one (or several) more chapter(s).Update soon if you plan to write more, this story is very good.

, there will be more. I'm working on a sequel for this that will answer some more of the questions. I try to have a story mostly done before I post so that I can update relatively quickly.
Aww for the ending, although it does scream for a sequel. I can't wait to read it under your name, whoever you are!
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
Thanks. And a sequel is coming. :D ANd that will be under my name. Just need the time to hammer it all out.
That was lovely, I really enjoyed it.
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
I'm so very glad that you enjoyed it. That means a lot to me.
I hope you continue this. Perhaps a sequel to show Severus and Hermione getting to know each other. I liked the idea of Hermione getting to know Severus through his notes.
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
Thanks. I do intend to do a sequel. This plot point has been closed, but there is more that can be done with this timeline. And I'm glad you liked her learning about him through his notes. I thought that would be a good way to keep him in the story.
Yes, loved the ending.
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
Thanks. I'm glad you found it satisfying. :)
let me add my voice to those shouting, sequel! after all, when you consider he was unconscious for most of the story, he's barely even appeared and it's all over. : ( more, please!
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
I know. This is a Hermione story more than a Hermione/Severus story. I will assure you that there will be a sequel to be posted in the near future. There are quite a few things that I want to address still. Glad you enjoyed it enough to want to read more.
all's well that ends well!! I know, stole it from the best, but in my heart I am convinced that this scenario is the way DH should have ended. Yes, Hermione waited till the last moment to set things right, but that's just like real life. Things get done when they're done, not necessarily when the 'time's right.' Hope there's a epilogue or sequel to this....!
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
Truly, there are so many things I disliked about the epilogue of DH (and a few bits before that). And there will be a sequel. Too much to put into an epilogue and I really didn't want to drag this story out since it is plotted around curing Severus. A new plot needs a new story. :D
This is begging for a sequel!! Very enjoyable!
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
It is and I am working on it already. I hope to start posting it not too long after the voting ends. :D
ickle Ronniekins, Master of the Obvious. *doh!* Like Lisa Simpson only adores her boorish father cos he's her dad, Hermione put up with Ron cos they had Harry and a House in common. Nothing else. About time! It's Hermione's own fault the break will be messy, cos she kept stringing him/them along for too long.
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
LOL What a wonderful way of summing that up. She did do wrong by Ron, but no matter how bright she is, she is still a teenager and prone to those awkward relationship moments teenagers have. *sigh* Aren't we glad we all grow out of that?
Oh, let's get a sequel or really satisfying epilogue! I hate that Ron and Harry wouldn't promise to keep quiet, and that Ron was being so forceful in having it out with Hermione right then and there, but that is to be expected. He must have felt she had been putting him off, and he wouldn't let her get away with it again.
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
A sequel will be coming. :D There is just so much further this could go.
I'm glad you felt that Ron was being Ron. He's just such a selfish person that I can see him being oblivious to her needs.
Quite the cliffie - very mean! Now, you can redeem yourself by giving us an update - soon! Great chap! I can't wait to see what happens next!
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
Hehehe! I love cliffies so that I really could not resist one last one. :D At least this time you did get the update quickly.
Snape is "alive" again at last!!! I'm sure Hermione and him will grow closer during his recovery. But Ron will complicate matters: what if, in a fit of jealousy, he tells Rita Skewter this scoop? imagine the mayhem.i really liked this chapter, update soon please
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
Ron could be the sticky wicket, couldn't he? Let's only hope that isn't the case, but he's not one to make things easy.
Oh, I'm sure Severus will have a cutting reply for Ron's statement. I enjoyed the chapter, it had a quick, fluid feel to it.
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
One can hope. It would be so nice to see our wonderfully sarcastic Potions Master return, wouldn't it? But does he have the strength?
Ron seems to always put his foot in it! One can opnly hope does not do anything to mess up Severus' recovery.
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
Ron is very good at that, isn't he? It's kind of the story of his life.
M eep! This isn't going to make for a quiet transition, is it.I love the line, "I shall bring him home to you."Squee!
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
Yeah, I can just see the boys making a huge stink about it. I'm glad you loved that line. :D
Somehow, Ron or Harry are going to twist this into Hermione harboring a fugitive or something equally stupid.
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
That really does seem like the boys, doesn't it? Hopefully they won't cause too much trouble. *wink*
Well, I didn't see that coming. I wonder if Draco was sincere or just ambitious and if he'll be persistent or vengeful?
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
Glad to have surprised you. :D Draco's motivation is one of the things to make you wonder, isn't it? Poor Hermione getting blindsided with that.
Whoot whooo! She did it! and Severus's not a criminal or having to face trial or anything like that! He's Free... whoops! Ron's gonna be a problem, huh?
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
Yup, Yay Hermione!!! And oh, yeah, Ron... Let's see what comes of that.
Well, can't blame Ron for taking it wrong, this time.
But oh, she kissed him. And now they'll be together at Spinner's End, I hope? Looking forward to the next!
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
:D Can you imagine what that kiss may put between them? Poor Hermione has a new thing to obsess over now. LOL Ron is really living up to the temper of his red hair, isn't he? I almost feel sorry for him for not seeing this sooner.
oh, dear! well, i'm glad severus is back among the living, but so much for keeping it quiet. and given the circumstances of their breakup, unfortunately i will hardly be able to blame ron for taking it badly, which i presume he will. ugh. i hope the next chapter is up soon!
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
Yeah, getting discovered by Ron and Harry is definitely not the way to keep that sort of thing quiet, is it? I don't know that there is any way that Ron would have taken it well.
Uh oh , Severus has been sprung!
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
Yup, and oh the ramifications of his.
Oh, boy. Ron *always* mucks things up!
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
Well, he does have the emotional range of a teaspoon. LOL Subtlety is not one of his specialties.
That was a rather awkward sort of breakup. And then the unexpected arrival. So now Ron is going to level ugly accusations, I'm guessing? I think I would have liked them behaving a bit more maturely, but they are still very young.
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
I think most teenage breakups are awkward. And you are right on the mature thing. I mean this is the young man who ran away just a few short months ago, essentially giving up on the quest. How much would he have grown in that time? Yeah, he came back, but still...
How smarmy! Even knowing that Hermione is with Ron, Draco still tries a move. He would have been smarter to just be her friend. She would have gone for that.
Response from phoenix (Author of The Letter)
Well, even Draco would have to realize that Ron and Hermione is not a recipe for success. I don't know if she would have been friends, but more receptive than trying to go straight to dating. LOL But then again, Malfoys are used to getting what they want.
