Snape is on his way to meet his fellow Death Eaters, not really looking forward to torturing yet another innocent. Tonight it will be someone Snape remembers from his past.

Great story!I really like your idea to make the sectumsempra curse both physical and mental. It is something a young Severus would think about : it is devious and ruthlessly efficient.post the sequel soon please

There's nothing quite like being magnanimous when one holds the moral high ground. Very nicely in character. And Sasha's comments were way cute.

Well done!!I wrote a song once, and posted it here. Now I know why authors beg for reviews. This was well written and incredibly thought out. Bravo!

Thanks for the happy ending, and it was nice for once to see Severus not holding a grudge.

How refreshing to read a Severus that's more sensible than Hermione! Thanks for the enjoyable read; I can't wait to read the prequel ... I'm guessing the whole Tonks-Teddy-torture affair will be discussed in detail?

I loved this story. What a wonderful reconciliation. But they are lucky Hermione didn't hold a grudge for much longer. I'm afraid to say that I probably would have.

Wonderful story. I liked the twists and turns along the way. I hoped early on that Severus was just covering but you plotted the unveiling of the truth much better than I could have expected. This caused me to change my mind back and forth on his innocence until it was explained -- making the story that much better. I am so glad you are planning a prequel, especially after the intriguing line about Hermione's parents talking them into marriage in the previous chapter. I look for to reading that and your other works. Thanks, JoAnne

Oooh, yes I am satisfied with the ending. I had visions of them emigrating to Australia or Tahiti or Malaysia or Uruguay, literally shaking the dust of Number 12 and Britain from their feet and never being seen again. But your ending is happier and generous hearted. And Snape is right, based on the facts as they thought they knew them what they did was understandable -- why would they think Snape was lying? But I have an awful lot of sympathy for Hermione ... and its good to see them all sad and guilty (I'm not really a vindictive person, really ...)
Thank you for a creative and compelling story. I'd like to hear more about Hermione and Severus ... they seem so comfortable and happy together. And he seems happy being a Dad.

Good story! I love the forgiveness theme, for we all hurt each other from time to time, and need to recall we are less than perfect. Hermione's anger is understandable. I am always more angry if someone hurts someone else, than if they slight me.

Loved the final chapter - by the way Severus sounds so good in this one. I like the way you ended the story and that Severus was the one to make Hermione come around her friends. It was a great twist on writing and it was especially good.

What a beautiful story of forgiveness. It's such a hard thing to do, when you have been wronged. This was wonderful. I will be looking forward to "Sasha".

I do love a happy ending, and I'm looking forward to reading more about Sasha. But I really would have paid good money to see Ron hug and kiss Snape...

Hm... I think I like the thought of the Angry Hermione with the Understanding Severus. It's different, but it works very well. Wonderful!

Interesting to consider Severus as being more ready to forgive than Hermione. Perhaps it's easier to forgive wrongs done to oneself than to a loved one. I like to think Sasha encouraged them, too. Thanks for your work!

Heartwrenching and beautifully written. The nature of the story, being what it was, is something so hard to imagine or even want to imagine and yet, the way of war. Looking forward to more.
