OH I was so nervous when Severus was tied up. At first I thought it was some evil DE, when the readers discovered it was Rita, I knew right then and there that Hermione could handle it. She is a sneaky one.

The home improvement part of me really enjoys the details you go into with their basement improvement.

I am glad they are expanding their social circle. Forge will be a good ally in the Weasley house, Tonks at the ministry. Things are going quite well aren’t they?

Aww.  That was good fun from beginning to end.  I think I'm a little in love with kitty-Severus myself.

This teasing and sexual tension is killing me!  Though I do love a good frottage scene.  There is something very real about it.

I am glad that Severus didn't take too badly Hermione's suggestions for hygienic improvement. It is such a delicate subject to bring up.I wonder whether Hermione will introduce Severus to her parents before  they have sex. I am guessing 'no,' since she'll probably tell them about Severus around the time whe tells the Weasleys and such. However, that's just a guess!Anyway, I love your story so far. I'm looking forward to the next chapters.

I liked how anxious and slightly awkward the scene where he gave her the ring was. Since, at the moment, their betrothal is more like a business arrangement than it is romantic, it makes sense that he wouldn't know exactly how to 'appropriately' go about it. I'm also glad that, although he did get upset at her suggestions for him to improve himself, it didn't end up being the type of big, blow-out fight that I feared (you know, the kind she'd have with Ron if she publicly criticized him in anyway). Just goes to show how much of a superior being and better match Severus is than Ronald Weasley could ever be I don't care what JKR said, she was insane to thing that Hermione could ever be with that!

Did she know he was making/see the library yet? Would love to see her reaction to this 'finished product' if he was doing it as a surprise!

Love how her father went from saying: “Now, promise your mother you won’t bury yourself in your reading and your research and whatever witchly things you plan on doing, and don’t become an old spinster-maid.” to: “No man is good enough for my daughter ... I won’t countenance this relationship! ... No man will ever be good enough for you, Hermione. Certainly not a man I’ve never met. I want to see him before I’ll allow you date him!” and her defense of Severus was wonderful! His response to said defense was so very hot.

This part: “I should let you go,” he whispered, his voice dropping too low and quiet for vocalization. “My conscience demands it, if you are to have any sort of viable social life…but I find my chest aches uncomfortably when I think of doing it—trust someone as brilliant and tenacious as you to find what I didn’t think could exist.” just made me go all gooey inside.

Love how this fic is going so much! You have developed their characters so well, and convey their emotions wonderfully. I can't wait to see what happens next! Unfortunately, I've caught up to what you've posted so far, and mstnow wait for new material. *pouts* Looking forward to your next update!

Loving the story LOTM!Love the snark, the cat/human interaction, and the long engagement. Also how Hermione has made Harry repay his debt in a way he would hate!Delightful - and I cannot wait to read how the shower scene happens!

Loved how accepting and even encouraging Minerva is of the couple, and how she seems to take it all in stride - the kiss (to 'make up'), and their betrothal.  It's good that they've got at least one person 'in their corner'. 

Laughed at this line:  “My name is Noleta Regina Evans-Corrigun, and I am a bitter-seeming old fart who secretly loves her job.”

And I loved Hermione's use of her life-debt! That was so cool!  I can't wait to see (well, technically read about) the expression on Harry's face when he hears that they're engaged! *points at Harry laughing*

Me thinks Severus is going to spell that galleon into an engaement ring with the pearl they found.  I just hope he doesn't take offense to the book she bought. Her wanting to 'change him' or being 'ashamed of his appearance' are two ways that he could take its meaning that could lead to a fight, even if that's not how she intended it.

Liked this part too: Severus realized she had just flung herself into the future with him firmly in tow, his presence in her life firmly accounted for in her mind’s eye. It was a new sensation for him, being included in someone else’s life-plan. Not a battle plan, nor an espionage plan, but a life-plan. He decided that he liked it, unnerving though it might be. It's going to take him a while to get used to it, but at least it's a good change.
