I adore the world of HP.
Thanks for stopping by. I'm off to stir my cauldron.

If Harry would just SHUT UP, Hermione would probably come out of it just fine. Thanks for the story!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
That's exactly right!
loved the story.....thanks
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
You're very welcome and thank you.
Excellent twist. I knew something wasn't right with those mixed up perceptions, but having her, no both of them, inhabit an entirely different "world" is a refreshing surprise. Thanks for getting the story out so quickly, too :)Mara

Thank you very much. :) I'm happy that you liked it.
Wow, you sure kept me guessing till the end, LOL! I enjoyed the story, and I like how you kept it sort of open, but hopeful. Now that Snape is awake, I'm sure he'll chase Potter out of Hermione's vicinity.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
Yay! I was hoping to keep people dressing. Oh, and indeed. He'll see to it that things are done right.
Yup, you pulled the rug out from under me. Now I only hope Hermione wakes up and doesn't fall into a permanent coma due to 'jumping off that cliff', although if she did the same thing after Ron's small talk, then she should be fine.Kept me guessing right to the end!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
I think she's going to pull through (someone just needs to tell Harry to keep quiet lol). :) Thanks for reading. I'm happy you enjoyed it.
Now you know why my friends never want to watch certain types of films with me. I have a bad name for this kind of thing. I liked the way you didn't tie up every point in the final chapter.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
~grin~ You were the only one who knew what was going on. LOL Thank you. I'd wanted to leave it a little open. :)
Indeed, things are clear now. Thanks for the story.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
You're very welcome. thanks!
Hats off to Selened indeed. It all makes sense, but I never saw it coming. I imagined that her perception was wrong, not the whole universe of the previous chapters. Interesting idea. I'm glad to finished it with hope for all of them.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
Thank you very much for the comments. I was hoping to keep people guessing. :)
At least I can wrap my mind around this chapter!!! LOLI certainly never figured out what was going on.Very twisty.Nicely wrapped up and pulled together.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
Yay! Thank you so much for reading. Glad you liked it.
Well, I'm glad Snape is up and about finally. If any one can help Hermione, he can!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
~nod~ you got it!
YES!!! A brilliant use a Psychotogenic curse …the effects are uncannily accurate. Very well done – very realistic… and to think that Harry seems to be causing most of her dysmnesia with his inane babble of sex, Snape and such… He's positively thick. No wonder Snape woke up first!!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
Thank you very much for the comments. And, yep, goofy Harry is doing the worst without knowing it. LOL
You have a brilliant use of both the hallucinations and illusions it’s almost as if she’s under Psychotogenic curse or possibly psychotrophic potions…the effects she seems to exhibit are uncannily accurate. Very well done – very realistic…
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
Thank you! :)
Very good. It was a truely inventive plot. You kept it complicated and interesting right through to the end. Way to go. Thanks, JoAnne

Thanks for reading. I'm happy you liked it.
Wow, what a ride. I like that you left things right there: hopeful, but not tied up neatly.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
Nod. Thanks, doll
Very interesting that HG being visited and talked to by friends actually is hurting her recovery. Of course, you have Ron do most of the damage, but Harry is doing so more subtly and more regularly: sex with Ginny, not trusting Snape, the Narcissa issue. None of these are things she needs to hear (and the first one - eew - he talks about it regularly!).
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
Yep, Harry's doing damage without realizing it. :( And, well, I guess it might be odd about him talking to her like that, but he hasn't anyone else, and I always talk about sex to my mates. Maybe I shouldn't? LOL
Response from ubiquirk (Reviewer)
Hee! No problem at all discussing sex with friends - when they're conscious and can decide they want to hear it! (LOL) It does a nice job of establishing his isolation!
Wow, Sun, very nice. Excellent build up while keeping the reader in constant suspense jumping back and forth trying to figure out who was questioning who, and when, and which reality was "real", and what was really happening. Very satisfying ending, really tied it all together well. Thank you for a most excellent read!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
Thanks, doll. I'd hoped to keep you all in suspense and wonder wtf. LOL :)
Well done. I really loved it.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
Thank you!
I'm glad I waited for it to be complete, I hate TBC mysteries. Really intriguing and engaging story. Well done! (Another Guns N Roses fan I see )
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
:) Thank you for reading! Glad you liked it. I do so love Guns N Roses.
Well I hope you are feeling better. That does clear up the story a bit. I enjoyed this little ficlet. Can't wait for your next endeavor.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
Thank you very much. I appreciate the comments. :) I still haven't forgot that I owe you a story. I did start on it at one point, but then things happened.
Awesome finish! I'm so glad that it ended hopefully and that Snape is awake. I get the feeling that it will because easier for Hermione to pull herself out of it if she hears his voice calling to her.
This was a very interesting story, I have to say. Threw me for a total loop, and the ending pulled everything together so that it made sense. I think what I liked most about all this is how real it felt, in that that's how the mind works, and that's what dreams feel like -- completely random, yet some things are symbolic and tied together. Well done!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
Thanks, doll. I'm happy you liked it. :)
Well you had me confunded!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
teehee!
Hmm. I'm not quite certain who is Hermione's keeper/lover, but I don't see Harry as having the sophistication (or vocabulary) for the entries in that journal. Also, if the entire thing is in her mind, then what is the point of the narrator showing us the entry she didn't read? Also, I think the cliff is metaphorical rather than a real place. My vote is that it's Severus--but his motives and alliegence are still very muddy to me. Excellent job at confusing us all!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
Every part of it is in her mind, I'd say. She is the narrator, so maybe those words are some words Snape's told her at some point? :) Well, if this is all a dream. Bwahahaha. You'd have to read the next chapter to find out. It's up now. Thanks for reading!
HuminuhWHAT??????? This is brilliantly confusing and I love every minute of it! Poor Hermione! What have you done to her?
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
LOL Thank you for reading. Glad you liked it!
wow...I'm so confused....but I'm intrigued!!! Don't leave us hanging!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
Thank you for reading! hope you liked the end.
I agree with Ayerf...it seems suspicious that Hermione wasn't upset about the same things that her captor thought she'd be upset about. How the heck did Narcissa come into it?Also, I find it decidedly convenient that Severus "accidentally forgot" to ward his study when he when out "suddenly." I did immediately think it must have been his dark mark burning, and that's what Hermione immediately thought of too. I can only hope that Hermione and I are both wrong about that.~Trusting Severus
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Dazed Detachment)
Hopefully the last chapter cleared things up for you. :) Thank you
