I am a writer, although I have not yet taken a shot at writing HPFF. I DO love to read it - tis my current thing to do, actually. My own writing has been put to the wayside by my passion for finding/reading new stories.
I am a current member and Moderator of/at Elfwood, where I post sci-fi/fantasy from my own alternate realities. I am also a member of a writing group called The Herscher Project.
I'm married, all my boys are grown and I have grandchildren. I also have a dog, that I wouldn't have if my husband didn't love the stupid thing so much!
