The next chapter should be up soon. Glad you are liking the story.
Wow, that is all rather deep. Poor Hermione. I'm glad she's in good hands.
Snape is so good with her. I wonder how he is able to stand the food, etc., if he has the same sensitivities as Hermione to the magics.
hmmm, Severus can doctor me up any time! You are doing a great job with the characters and what I'd expect them to be like. Very enjoyable.
I really do love this Snape. Poor Hermione. She really couldn't know what happened, and no one bothers to tell her.
intresting. can't wait for the next update!
I wonder what Severus intends to supply Hermione with to sustain her at Hogwarts...and I don't think it's just food! I love the song-like poetry of their conversations in this story. As much as I'd like to say update ASAP I won't. I will, however, be looking forward to seeing the next chapter (hint, hint).
Ohhhhh a protective Snape, and such a gentelman too. It is amazing how sexy you portraid him without a drop of smut. Very nice, smooth Like a good ameretto.....

...with just a little bit of bitterness for contrast. Thanks for the review.
I love this story - please post more soon. I find this Hermione and the world she's reentered, quite interesting. I can't wait for the fireworks when Snape and Hermione don't hate eachother - Harry will not take this well.
I haven't figured out what is going on yet, but it is a good read. I liked the interaction between Snape and Hermione over lunch. If she accepts the position at Hogwarts, I agree with Snape--where will she get her food from?
That was a nice chapter. It was a set-up for former interactions, wasn't it?
Wow! This story is absolutely fascinating! I'm looking forward to reading more.
Ooohhh, I like this one very much. Please update soon. Can you give us more of a hint where "The South" is? I'm not big on geography, but do know how to consult a map.
Keep it coming! I am intrigued.
I like it and I can't wait for my questions to be answered.
Another solid chapter. I really like your portrayal of Hermione. She's very different from most of the Hermiones that I have read, but I like her all the more for her uniqueness. Great job!
Very interesting, but boy do I have alot of questions. I love what I have read and I'm in hope that you will update soon with some answers.
That was lovely. Hermione needs to eat. Soon.
A most promising beginning. I hope this story goes on and on and on, because I'm putting it in my favourites!
Very interesting story... Sorry for the LONG review I am going to leave, but I have just read all 4 chapters in one swoop and I am filled with questions and musings.1) One reviewer mentionned after the Prologue that we assume from the start that the black-eyed child is Snape's. I must say I jumped to the same conclusion, only to be baffled by the following chapters - Hermione does not know that Snape is alive/free, and most of all she does not seem flustered or have any sort of emotional reaction when she meets him, other than fear of a murderer. So I am wondering what your intentions are: is it not Snape's child, and the black eyes were only there to throw us for a loop? Or is it Snape's child, but for some reason she does not know it? (linking to the fable hinted at by Harry that women get impregnated by whomever - I can picture some sort of Avalonesque/Secret Society ritual with the woman drugged and impregnated by a chosen "stallion" in front of the entire Circle)2) Which relates to Snape's knowing the Southern ways - did he come for refuge to the South for a while before being apprehended? What are his connections to the South? Are they somehow linked to his mother? Looking forward to see how you plan on explaining this one!3) Same thing with Minerva and Athena. Like another reviewer, I do picture the South as being a Greek Isle - are you planning on being more geographically explicit as we go forward? I love a fic that makes me wonder - if there is an explanation at some point! If we are indeed speaking of Greece, nice link to their first names being Greek godesses, but with the super Scottish name, I suppose the link to the South would come from their mother... I'm curious to know where you're going with this.4) LOVE the theme of rejection / fear of the unknown. My first reaction was: well how could people like Molly Weasly be so narrow minded? It's not credible/Canon! How could they be so "racist' towards other wizards? But then I remembered that even in Canon, wizards do display a tendancy to prejudices: against muggles, against werewolves... Unfortunately it's human nature. So I am now seeing how they could react like that towards Hermoine. Looking forward to reading more!To cut a long story short - before my review turns into a book - just wanted to say "good job" - it's not often that a fic makes me turn my wheels so much that I feel compelled to review.

Thanks for the review. All I can say is that there is a logic in all of this and most - if not all of your answers will be answered at some point in the story.
That was a rather sad chapter. I still enjoyed it very much, but it's always sad to me when friends grow apart...Well done.
A lovely chapter. Hermione is quite a bit out of place, isn't she?
