Nope, she doesn't. I toyed with the idea of having her know about it early on, but it ended up not fitting in with the story. So it comes as a surprise to her later on. Thanks for the review!
What a hoot! I can't wait for the next installment. I don't know who I feel sorrier for, Hermione or Severus. Great beginning. Eagerly awaiting more!!!!

I'm really diggin' this and am looking forward to the next chappie. One teensy pick... the last paragraph of diologue... I'm pretty sure it should say he didn't "BUY" it.“Of course, Professor. I’ll be there. I really am sorry for making you wait so long.” Her voice was apologetic, but Severus didn’t by it. Can't wait to see who bids on him!!!

Thanks! Yeah, I had way too much fun writing this story. Even more so later on. I was actally howling as I wrote what ended up as chapter five, and then the actual auction... this could be because it was like, 4 in the morning and I'd had WAY too much caffeine, but I prefer to think it really is that funny. I don't know, though. You'll have to tell me when we get there. Just give me a condescending pat on the head and courtest chuckle, and I'll get the point. ;)
I liked this chapter. It made me laugh! I liked the bit about not taking house points away from her parents and how Hermoine's Dad kept getting his name wrong! Very fun!
