A response to the Potter_Place Fall prompt challenge: #22. The Weasley twins come across Snape shopping for Potions ingredients. A commotion causes Snape to become distracted, and the twins promptly take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime golden opportunity to slip Snape one of their "experimental" products.

I'm a thirtysomething who is taking a hiatus from full-time web development to stay at home with my kid. I still do a bit of contract and/or volunteer web work, as well as other volunteer work. I do a bit of community theater (musicals, I'm not much for straight plays) as well. HGSS is my favorite ship.
Reviews for A Potionful of Trouble
I like this beginning. A lot of fun and the twins are perfectly (and obnoxiously) in character. Loved how Snape pulled the nuclear option on them--Molly. *shudder* Looking forward to more.
Response from TempestOfDreams (Author of A Potionful of Trouble)
Molly scares everyone, doesn't she? Yikes. I'm so pleased that you liked this!
Spanish Fly! Snape got dosed with Spanish Fly teeheeYay Tempest I can't wait to see where/how far you're taking this.

A cheerleader? For me? Ooh, fun! Thank you! And yes, let's dose Snape with some good stuff and see what happens....
Promising beginning: humour and an interesting product sprayed on Snape. Reading the twins was like watching a tennis game, as if aging had made them more Janus-like than ever.
Response from TempestOfDreams (Author of A Potionful of Trouble)
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I certainly enjoyed playing up that aspect of the twins while writing it.
oh hurray hurray and update i'm sitting on the edge of my chair wondering what will happen next.
thank you for a new story to read.

Veryd to reading promising premise. I lookforward to the next chapter. :D

And my review even looks stupid because my computer froze up partly in the middle. I honestly am coherent. LOL! :D
Response from TempestOfDreams (Author of A Potionful of Trouble)
Eh, who needs coherency, anyway? I'm glad you liked my premise and I hope you continue to enjoy the story!
*Winks*
I shan't say anything but congrats on getting your story posted!! I don't want to give anything away, after all :)
Response from TempestOfDreams (Author of A Potionful of Trouble)
Thank you muchly, for leaving a review and for the wonderful beta feedback you already gave me!
Ooh, a great beginning and interesting premise. How will things turn out with Snape, and with Hermione's visit to McGonagall? I can't wait for more!
Response from TempestOfDreams (Author of A Potionful of Trouble)
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! (And you'll have to wait and see!)
I really enjoyed this and can't wait to see what happens next. I have my suspicions of course, but I'll continue reading to see if it goes the way I'm thinking. Say, that powder sounds... "good" to have. Teehee.
Response from TempestOfDreams (Author of A Potionful of Trouble)
Mmm, no hints coming from me! Except . . . Can-Touch Talc does have, er, interesting possibilities, doesn't it? Glad you enjoyed it!
Oooh! What a beginning! And I'm very glad to hear that it's complete and we'll be having regular updates, because I'm not known for my patience when something intrigues me as much as this opening chapter has! I'd like to comment on your writing of Fred and George, I really like that you have them not just as clowns, but ingenious clowns who are still a little afraid of their mother ;) but still very good at heart.
Response from TempestOfDreams (Author of A Potionful of Trouble)
I'm glad you enjoyed chapter one, and Fred and George. I will do my best to keep the updates coming in a timely fashion!
I liked it overall, and don't have any words of criticism to impart, which I always will if I have any lol. :)
How do thay think that Severus won't know ,it was them? Sorry, I lost my head there , for a minute, that don't think, thay act. Loving it so far.
Lighthearted and fluffy, thank you! I always loved Harry Mudd and his tribbles.
A lot of fun! I died of laughter when I realized you were going for the Star Trek reference. That was unique and amusing, thank you.
OMG!! i love you!!! *is a puddle of goo in the floor* i heart this side of snape!!! what an amazing story! all the characters were consistant and you brought out an amazing side to snape!!! bloody hell keep up the amazing work!! *clicks back to re-read and giggle delightedly*
I am totally in love with this story and all it's fluff. I love the way they waited to get to know each other before having sex. The sex was deliciously hot. Great job on the characters.
Awww, Tempest, I really liked your story! It moves quickly along and the relationship between H and S is very real and believable. The puns and jokes scattered throughout are too funny, as well. I enjoyed reading it!
This is exactly the kind of story I love most! It was the only thing that made this weekend livable. Thank you and feel free to write more fluffy plots if you have the desire. I will love reading them and will be happy to review! It was a great story!
I enjoyed your story, very nice!

Nicely done. Especially Severus blanking out during the wedding planning conversation. Classic.
Response from TempestOfDreams (Author of A Potionful of Trouble)
I rather thought he'd revert to stereotypical maleness on that one. :) Glad you liked it!
Loved all the plots and the happy ending. Cute story with some very interesting ideas.
Response from TempestOfDreams (Author of A Potionful of Trouble)
I'm glad you liked it. Thanks so much!
Fluff it may be, but it was the good kind. Quite a fun read. Looking forward to your future fics
Response from TempestOfDreams (Author of A Potionful of Trouble)
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
My feedback can't be considered "constructive" really. I just enjoyed this story as it was. Heavy or not on plot. ^.~ It was the perfect amount if you ask me. Loved it all and hope to read more from you in the future.
Response from TempestOfDreams (Author of A Potionful of Trouble)
Oh, I'm quite happy to take non-"constructive" feedback as well! I'm glad to hear that the story was enjoyable. It was what it was, a light romance, and I was quite content with how it turned out. (I think I just want to try something different, too!)
