Great story! But I join the throng in asking for an epilogue, as this seemed a bit rushed. Since Severus, Albus, etc. were all capable of defeating Voldemort, it seems S&H could be trusted by their own familiars, so I would've liked to read the actual convo between Duster, Crooks, S&H - what did the cats say to S&H that made S&H too "dangerous" to remember the truth? And I didn't quite understand the critters' sense of urgency - even a year – we could wait. But no longer. Also, aren't there some sinister animals? Surely Nagini wasn't an innocent benevolent little thing. What happens when unusual creatures come along, like Luna's crumple-horned snorkacks? And what of half-critters like centaurs? Of course, I am also drooling at the thought of you updating some of your other fics.... Varlet, Twilight, Ozymandias... Thanks for the new chapter!!  Now back to  your keyboard! (cracks whip lightly...)

I've always loved this story, Doomie, and it was such a nice surprise to see more of it!  But I'm terribly greedy.  Write more! :)

I really enjoy following the progress of the Familiars plans! You manage to make the characters come alive for me, and especially Crookshanks! Great job!

This is a wonderful story - and very original, too, what with a gang of Familiars taking so lovingly care of their pets and discussing how to do it most effectively! I don't remember having read anything remotely like this tale before, which is very refreshing! Nor do I remember reading a story with a better chosen Animagus form for Hermione, by the way - the picture of a little, bushyhaired pony really made me smile. Well. No: Laugh! Well done!

Hee -- I am loving this!!  I particularly enjoy all the cats -- because cats are just sooooo cool -- the way that Hermione and Severus are starting to become familiar with each other, and how much Fawkes resembles his "pet."  Or, I suppose Fawkes would say that Albus resembles him.  I'm dying to know who stupefied Hermione, and whether Duster ever manages to knock harry down the stairs.  You rock! 

That was fun!  I liked the dance scene.  Too bad Harry is such a jerk--but I suppose every story needs one for conflict...  Glad to see another installment of this.

Please update soon.  I really enjoy this.  I love the fact that the animals take such an active roll.  I don't believe I've read anything similar.  Keep up the good work.

Albus and Minerva, having a little spat, and trashing the great hall, . Will they put two and two together, and look at the "stains", I geuss we will see ,in the next chapter.

Someone needs to tell Severus, that the familiars can bring people together ,but they can't make them fall in love. If it was Peeves that hurt Crookshanks and Duster, it won't only be the other familiars after him, Severus and Hermione will be out to get him too.
