Poor Harry is completely potty!
Poor Harry is completely potty!
The pets seem to be sorting themselves out without help. 😀
Such a cute story. :] I loved the idea of the Familiars and their meddling. I just wonder what happened after the Veritaserum scene! Oh well. Thanks for this lovely story.
bad pussies! great story though!
Go get your man, Xia!
A "thorough exploration" sounds rather fun!
Poor Harry, he knoweth not what he does.
Aha , so they can talk, they just choose not to! Clever familiars!
Nice chaos at the dance. Those familiars really should research human behaviour better!
Hmm, detention at the Halloween Ball, perchance?
well Ivy and Argus are both fairly "earthy" so it makes sense, and just what is Snape up to with the cloak?
oops, hoist by their own petard! They really don't want Minerva talking "cat"
Wonder how he expects her to answer? LOL
LOL a Plaid Pooka, she is a great story teller. But what of the Sidhe?
Why didn't the potion work? Have they missed something out, or is it a delayed reaction? Too bad about the dreams... why not just enjoy them? LOL
Absolutely loved most of your story! If I could purr I would! Good characterisations all 'round and a novel plot. I especially liked the capture of Hermione by Harry. It was also a nice touch to have him come back healed with the assistance of Ron. The use of Pooka blood: A Plaid Pooka no less! Not that I know her/him but it was a nice touch to see a familiar name pop-up unexpectedly, and brought a smile out. The transformation into a stag and doe, an oblique reference to Lily/James? Great conversations between S&H, revealing much but still in character. Malfoy and Hooch (Purr! - what a match) Oh I could go on....I liked everything...except...I had isssues with the finish - a trifle hurried. I would have liked more of what happened between the four of them (S, H, Duster and Crooks)and then when Duster and Crooks went back to the other familiars and tell them of their capture and questioning by H&S. Also maybe a short couple of paragraphs at graduation. At least it was not as nasty as the furball of an ending known as The-Epilogue-that-Shall-be-Forgotten: At least Snape lives and we get a small idea of what it is like between them. Thanks for that.Puss-in-Boots: Ah-ha-ha!... [cough - hack - cough] Puss-in-Boots: He he... Hairball. Donkey: Oh, that is nasty! (Shrek2)Cheers.
Oh! naughty kitties! Excellent tale, but bad kitties. I like this very much, original ideas! Thank you for sharing this story with us.
You're right, Pookas can't resist chocolate. I should know. LOL a Plaid Pooka! I love her stories. This is a wonderful tale!

PlaidPooka is a very talented author - I couldn't resist the urge to give her a cameo in this story.

Oooh, less friendly eyes! I am happy to see this has yet another plot line starting up. I am enjoying this story very much.Pooka blood is not so bad as pooka flesh! After all a pooka could volunteer to give blood for a good reason. Don't kill pookas!-Pookah
Excellent story. Poor Harry! I do hope he ends up alright.
very funnybut not chopped Pooka meat! no!-Pookah
delightful! looking forward to more, especially Snape's 'fun' Poor Harry, though, I hope he fines a mate, too. maybe the familiars could help him out.
A charming premise, and I must say I love 'double, double' as the title of a potions magazine. How clever of you! the other title, well I don't speak latin so I'm not catching any delightful pun you may hav e made.

Lapis Philosophorum - "Philosophers' Stone". No pun there, but a veiled reference to alchemy.
