Reviews for Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey
Your driving me Bellatrix-crazy with all the wonderful back story, and your Draco and Luna!!! Love it Phineas being intertwined... Very effective bullying scene - I'm spitting mad! - poor Draco! Also, with all due respect to poor Tonks, love the Remus and Hermione implications *waggling eyebrows intrigued & naughtily hoping for more details*- wonderful, dynamic chapter!

I'd hate for you to turn Bellatrixish. The next chapter is in the queue.

Next chapter in the queue - *sigh of relief* & utterly appeased Thank you!
I love this tale.....Luna is a fantastic character.I always thought she was fey.....more soon please~thankyou.
Response from quaffswinegaily (Author of Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey)
Luna is fey, but not daft. The next chapters are queued up and ready to roll... soon.
This is really interesting! I like the way you're filling in what happened off-screen in canon.
Response from quaffswinegaily (Author of Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey)
I love squeezing things in around canon. It surprising how much wiggle-room there is.
Love the interaction between Luna and Black. Very interesting history!

Good old Uncle Phin!
Ooh, I loved this chapter! I loved the history lesson from Phineas Nigellus, and the unknown affection he holds for Luna. It explains why Draco and Luna look so much alike - they are related. I also loved the hinted-at drama of Hermione and Lupin!

And there's more to come...
The boys used to love The Old man of Lochnagar. I think it's still on the bookshelf somewhere. Your Luna is awesome. Have I told you that yet? :)
Response from quaffswinegaily (Author of Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey)
Thank you. You're a sweetie.
Your Luna is going to be such a great foil for Draco, looking forward to watching things play out.

Isn't she just? Another chapter is waiting in the wings.
An interesting premise. I'll wait and read the next few chapters before I make up my mind. I do, however, like the way you portray Luna. ^_^

Thanks for the comments. Here's hoping it grows on you.
This is starting out wonderfully! I love Luna stories, and it looks as though poor Draco doesn't stand a chance of keeping up with her on his terms--Luna's running the show, whether he realizes it or not. Speaking of, her referring to Amycus as a "true gastropod" was priceless! I look forward to seeing more of poor Severus' attempts to maintain his sanity over the coming school year. Keep 'em coming!

Draco has a trying time ahead. More is in the queue, so watch this space.
Why is this in Potions Under Duress?
Response from quaffswinegaily (Author of Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey)
You may have to read more to find out.
I think Draco's going to be a Horny Golloch before Luna finishes with him. ;)
Response from quaffswinegaily (Author of Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey)
You could be right on that one, lass.
Really off to a roaring start. i too love Luna stories. I also really like Luna and Draco stories. I look forward to more
Response from quaffswinegaily (Author of Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey)
More is on its way. I hope you like it.
I am so excited to see another story from you! You've dropped us right in the thick of things with this one, and I look forward to seeing how things play out.Luna is one of my favorites so long as she is written well. She is a really powerful character, mostly because she isn't what she seems. She walks around in this dreamy state, and I think people forget that she was sorted into Ravenclaw for a reason. Of course Snape wouldn't be fooled, would he ;)I like how Snape picked the students who he thinks will cause the least trouble, but we know (at least in canon) that is simply not true. And Luna handled her disgusting hand kiss and the peeping Malfoy so well. This is sure to be a fun ride!
Response from quaffswinegaily (Author of Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey)
I hope you enjoy the ride, lass.
Hi Quaffie....taking time off from packing for my cruise around the Med tomorrow.........yes I know a dirty job but someone has to do it. What a fantastic start to what I'm sure will be another wonderful story from you. I always thought that Luna had the same faux-naivety that one associates with the delightfully sexy Louis Theroux. I mean she's certainly got Draco's number and the Carrows too. Good to see that Sev is definitely on her wavelength also. Probably won't be able to read any more till I come back but I want loads on my return. Best wishes, Love Ali xxxx. PS Went to the Edinburgh Fringe for the first time this year....totally pissed it down. Good time was had by all though.

Sounds wonderful. Good to hear from you. Take me too?
OMG - love this! - the setting at such a turbulent time and your capturing of the details and these characters pov's with the events happening around them - Love the subtle but brimming-with-possibilities undeniable chemistry between Luna and Draco, as well as Severus' see-all, know-all eyes regarding Luna, and Luna's comments, in particular, regarding the Carrows *infestations indeed!*... It's wonderful to have someone respond to Draco differently as depicted here, to see another side of him as only Luna can! Yum! Thank you!
Response from quaffswinegaily (Author of Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey)
The next chapter's in the queue, so stick around for more Luna and Snape... and others.
Sweet, a new story from you. I was wondering what all that name calling was about on Snape's part. I do love Luna, and I think she's definitely much smarter than many gave her credit for.
Response from quaffswinegaily (Author of Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey)
Luna's a law unto herself.
I love Luna stories. And Snape stories...
Response from quaffswinegaily (Author of Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey)
This should be right up your street then.
What an intriguing beginning! I can't wait to read more!
Response from quaffswinegaily (Author of Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey)
Thank you. More is on it's way!

Heck! Where did that stray apostrophe come from?
Response from KingPig (Reviewer)
You gotta watch out for 'em, they're sneaky like that!
*Snort* I wonder if Ron actually heard what she admitted. It was rather subtle. *grin* Good chapter. Where's the next one, hmmm? ^_^
Response from quaffswinegaily (Author of Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey)
The next chapter is... um... still in my head at the moment... Real life intervenes and all that... Back again soonish...
Oh, my heart just breaks for Tonks and Lupin every time we see them together. I hope there is some sort of positive resolution there at some point.Draco ... you've actually made me like him, so it is hard to watch him in such a difficult position. So lovely that he has Luna to look after him, even if he thinks it is a bad idea. And Ron Weasley, you know I adore the guy, and you have been so good to him. Well, there was that incident that brought him to his current home, but even through all of that, you've made him a good, respectable, albeit confused and overwhelmed, sort of guy.I absolutely loved the scene in the dragon's den. That is good stuff. I don't know that I think Ron is the bravest soul in the world, so he must either really trust Frigg, or really care about her, or something. Otherwise, brave or not, going in there wouldn't have been worth it. But I think he will agree it paid off. Now, make yourself respectable, and we’ll finish taking care of your dragon.” He chuckled again as she gave him a sceptical look. “No, that is not an English euphemism for... for...” Ha! That gave me a good laugh. Now who is the partner for Draco? Sure, Remus ran off in the middle of the night, but that can't be it, right? I'm sure we will once again be bamboozled with that piece of information.I am loving this story!
Response from quaffswinegaily (Author of Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey)
The next time someone mentions they are going away to polish they're dragon, you won't be able to keep a straight face. What do you mean, no-one you know says that? And Draco's partner... someone else has suggested Filch...
Response from HBAR (Reviewer)
Sure, no one says they are going to polish their dragon yet, but I am going on a one woman mission to make that a common phrase ... whatever it means ;)As for Filch, I would be totally tickled if it was really him!
Hmmmm, who could be Malfoy's new associate? Filch, mebbe???
Response from quaffswinegaily (Author of Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey)
Now that's a good idea, Draco and Filch working together. That would be an interseting combination.
And just because I'm going away for a week and won't be at work to pester you doesn't mean you can slack off, woman! :P
Response from quaffswinegaily (Author of Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey)
While you're off enjoying Aussie delights, I'm working extra hours because Ranj is still sick. Have a good time, but don't expect miracles when you get back.
Love this story! I'm not even attempting to make a guess about the nature of relationships in this story because I feel like I will get it it totally wrong! I am just along for the ride :) Can't wait for the next chapter and to hear more about Hermione, Remus and Severus!
Response from quaffswinegaily (Author of Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey)
The next chapter is sitting waiting in line, just for your delectation.
Hah! "spectral leave"! What do you think that entails? Great chapter and great concept. Can't wait to see where this goes.
Response from quaffswinegaily (Author of Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey)
Thanks for stopping by to review. I hope you enjoy the rest of the story as it unfolds.
Lupin and Snape - were they/are they old lovers? And they both want Hermione in their own way? I'm so confused!
Response from quaffswinegaily (Author of Fare Thee Well My Faerie Fey)
I'm sure it will all become much clearer, eventually.
