Oh you torture me! I just started reading this story this afternoon and could not stop. I LOVE it! It's so original and the emotions are fantastic. I cannot wait for more. I do have to say, in the future (if they do get together) I would love to see Severus paint a pregnant Hermione :D Keep up the amazing work.

There was a huge amount happening in this chapter/  Normally I would consider this a good thing, however when home sick with a dreadful cold.  I was not well enough to review yesterday, but after 24 hours and a slightly clearer head can now follow the story and review.  It seems like all the characters are being placed for a huge reveal.  Can see fireworks ahead. ( Literally going to the loacl show tonight and will be seeing the fireworks.)

Started off strong, but what's with all the nonsense?  Blaise, Ginny, who cares?  Muddying a story that started out hot.

WOW that was something of a reading! Love how complex this is getting -crossing fingers. I just hope the letter doesn't speed this story to its end. Thanks for sharing. And please reward Blaise nicely for being such a nice guy. I like your portray of him.

This story is really getting juicy.  I am enjoying it. I cannot wait to see how Draco and Neville see the light. I cannot wait until Snape finds out the truth. I hope that the sneaky painting is taken care of before real damage can be done.

And will 'Sydney' run into him there? I have questions, so many questions! And I know that I will have to wait for the answers. But I don't have to wait patiently; you can't make me be patient; you can only make me wait! I look forward to more!

*catches breath* I don't know where to start except that I am as breathless as Blaise. I can't wait for everything to be revealed: Draco and Neville (btw how did Severus found out about them?) and of course Severus and Hermione. His letter was so sweet. But I still fear he'll have a shock discovering who she really is and need a bit of time to cool his fury before accepting things.

whoa! You just put a totaaly believable and new (at least for me) spin on Ginny W. Made me realize Ginny's younger than Hermione and wonder if she were mature enough to be trusted. Oh, and on another note: poor Severus!

Loved the update. When reading the previous chapter I believed it was Severus who witnessed Hermione kissing Draco, but it was Neville, wasn't it? That is why Neville is in a bad mood?Totally hot scene with Severus taking care of himself, and I loved that Hermione got jelous over the portrait watching and gossiping. The letter Severus wrote was magnificient. Ginny annoyed me a bit though, she had noe rigth to read Hermiones letter without her outrigth acceptance, and even less rigth to comment on it, being almost indiscret and to top if off; demand an explanation. She is undoubtily Molly Weasleys daugther, but just as with her mother; she should learn to stay out of other peoples business. She is nosy, ill-mannered and totally lacking respect for others private life!And I am as usual looking forward for the next update:-))

Now that was one sweet letter.  I hope he means what he says.  It's like he misses every possible clue!  What kind of a spy is he?   LOL

Ouch. The ending of last chapter was far more complicated than I assumed. It wasn't Severus who noticed Hermione kissing Draco, it was Neville. Devious in itself. Put into that the rumour the portraits are spreading and the fact that Ginny caught on that someone might know more than her, I think we are in for a ride with this revelation business. A roller-coaster, more likely. I'm looking forward to read their torment.

I am back! From working for a week or so at a rustic (read lack of computers/internet) resort so had lots of catching up to do here! And what do I find? Two weeks worth of chapters (yay!) and you've now thrown the portraits into the mix! I thought that you were going to leave us hanging with the identity of the person who was in the corner of the room while he 'took care of himself', but you graciously kept us away from the cliff's edge on that one. And then added a few more edges to the rest of the chapter. The number of possibilities for exposure just increase every week! And the questions! Will he find out she has been kissing every Slytherin within lip-reach? Will he recognise the owl? Will Ginny figure it out? Will Neville? Draco? Will somebody let the kneazle out of the bag? Will he run into her blindly in the hall and recognise her build from the contact? Would he realize that it is her or be so blinded by his assumptions that he just thinks that Hermione reminds him of Grace?Inquiring minds, and devoted readers, want to know!You are both an excellent writer and an exciting story teller, and I look forward to next week's installment!

Aaaaaaah, noooo!!!!!!!  Don't end the chapter there!  Wow! Blaise, Draco, and Neville, oh my!  Your characterisations are fabulous.  Can't wait for the confrontation--Hermione and Severus, or Draco and Neville.  And poor Blaise.  You must write Blaise his own story someday!

Help, I'm hyperventilating here.  Ok, I put my head between my knees.  Wow, the last several chapters have really been ramping up the tension.  Now I am trying not to hold my breath, but the anticipation is killing me.  Also, in a pureblood family with only one male heir, does he still have to marry a woman and just keep his male lover on the side?  It seems like something they would do since you get that whole Edwardian or Victorian era vibe.  Great storytelling.  Beautifully written.  Thank you.

Okay...from the sound of it, it seems unlikely that Severus was the unseen observer scowling at the sight of Draco and Hermione at the end of the last chapter.  Based on the little hint you dropped, it was probably Neville who probably went off in a jealous snit after he saw Hermione kissing Draco (since he didn't know it was all an act intended to fool Pansy).  Still...how exactly did Severus figure out that there's chemistry between Draco and Neville when Hermione apparently hasn't picked up on it yet?  She's usually fairly quick on the uptake (then again, as she herself said, she has enough of her own problems to deal with right now).

Oh, my gosh, Sunny! You JUST updated this - and LOOK how many reviews it has already!! We're ALL frothing at the mouth like ZOMBIES..."Where's the update? Want update..NEED update!" LOL! Okay, onto review!!! Best line in chapter "Okay. I have standards. That’s good to know." I have to laugh about the protocol for her standards though, I don't know if the line's thick enough between standards and opportunities!

Severus burns while Hermione begins to crack. Once she starts spilling the beans she can't stop, can she? Meanwhile, Blaise is still awesome -- even if I still don't want him to finish higher than first runner-up. You're way too good at dialing up the tension here!

How is it that you are posting chapters here AND the exchange is going on? What are you wonderwoman?!?Betcha Neville heard about Hermione's smooch with Draco and that is why he is all pissed. I do hope Severus is too busy with his hands in his pants head in the clouds to listen to any of his slytherin's rumors. Will the next chapter be the big reveal? ((hopes))
