My first reaction was to call Severus and idiot.  But upon reflection, he's right.  Hermione shouldn't be required to enter into a life-long committment as a teenager to avoid expulsion.  My vote is they just stay away from each other and Minerva does whatever she wants to poor Sev.

First of all thank you so much for another great update. Seccond, blah.... Why didn't you nail Severus feet to the floor to make him stand still long enough for Hermionen to both propose to him and make him say yes??? Sometimes that mans prickliness and self- deprivation really annoys me and makes me wonder if he is really worth it (and of course he is, but sometimes he could make it easier.-))

Will he or won't he? That is the question. Whether 'tis nobler-- Ahem! Sorry. Got carried away there. ^_^

Severus is far too noble for his own good. I can't believe he is going to walk away and take all the blame and leave no way for Hermione to help him. I cannot wait for the next part to see what Hermione and the others will do to get him to see sense. Another superb chapter, just in time to give me more reason to procrastinate over my dissertation which is due in less than two weeks :)

Oh man. I can't believe Severus is doubting the veracity of her affections. Poor guy. He deserves to be happy, after all. Is he trying to protect her when he says to keep her out of it? Yikes. (I got a giggle out of the fact that he was blindsided by her delving into the Charter.)

THAT man is so STUBORN.  Well Hermione certainly outplayed Minerva.  Well done.

OMG..OH NO...WHAT is Severus doing.. he refused to marry Hermione..OH DEAR..THIS Isn't going to be good..Poor Hermione, she is going to be heartbroken!! Well Done, I love it..I just hope she goes to him and they talk and resolve things, I know he probably feels unworthy of her, but she loves him, as he does her...Egads what a cliffhanger!!! Poor Sev keeps having to have these conversations with Minerva in a post-orgasmic coma. This is a conversation that is about to go pear shaped. I suppose they could just cool their jets a few months. Not that that's worked well thus far ;-)

Hahaha, Hermione really has Minerva in a corner. Too bad Severus decided to pick that moment to have major doubts about himself. AHHHH!

I like how Minerva is all concerned for Snape, and that's enough to induce an almost-confession from his lips... and she jumps to the wrong conclusion, fortunately.  I like it when characters come to perfectly logical but incorrect conclusions.Hermione finds the loophole... and Minerva puts two and two together.Aiieee! A cliffhanger!

GAHHHHH! Great chapter! Nice to see Minerva finally put all the pieces together.

Uh oh!  Severus is going to be in a bit of trouble soon.  :-P  Cute chapter, and I enjoyed the fun between Hermione and Ginny.  I'm aticipating future chapters, this is one of my favorite new stories.  Thank you for sharing.

Oh poor, poor Severus!  The horror of things done for love.  Now, how many times do you suppose she's going to man-handle him before the grand finale of the day?  Or is it even going to reach that point judging by McGonagall's conclusion?Looking forward to seeing what happens next!

Uh.  Oh.It sounds as if the excrement is about to make contact with the spinning blades...Hermione should have realized that Professor McGonagall isn't fooled quite that easily.

I enjoyed your sense of humour and the internal monologue was great. There was the occasional large jump in the action that detracted from the continuity of the piece, and then at other times, the actions were repeated which does add a tedious element to the flow of the story. Overall, an enjoyable read. 

AHHHH!!! I cant wait for the next chapter! I wanna know what the Charter said! LOL I'm really enjoying this story, great job!
