Would Hermione tell Sara Creevey that Severus has a cute bum?  I wonder what the circumstances were.Hermione's magical application is going to help Severus find her?  A very intriguing ending to your chapter.  I'll wait with bated breath for chapter 3.

Oh, the plot thickens.  And the two of them are thinking alike.  Maybe for once, Rita's article will come true (well, partially, anyway).  Severus' interaction with Sara Creevey is funny.  He has such command over former students no matter how nice he is being.What was important was finding the bastards responsible and punishing them—oh, and finding Miss Granger as well, of course. Ha!  Good to see his priorities are in order.  Looking very forward to more.Incidentally, if you ever find a way to make those real life key cards, I could use one for my car keys.  What a fantastic concept!

I'm excited to see a new story from you and SubHub.  This is an intriguing beginning, and I'm wondering how the captors know who Severus's true love is when he doesn't.

It seems Hermione must have a book on her person that can lead Severus to the rescue.  Either that or one of the three thugs does =)

At the moment, I can't think of anything that makes me happier than seeing you back here with a new fic!!!  How pathetic do I sound?  Still, kudos to Subhub for bringing you back by whatever means.  This is such an intriguiing start and there is so much to love.  At the start, his life has never been so satisfactory, but then at the end, he is all chomping at the bit to go out on an adventure.The world might be a better place if all house-elves were silent.  And I really liked the "this message will self destruct" type owl.  And the fact that it hardly even phases Severus.Again, welcome back.  I must move on and find out what happens next!

So Hermione used versions of the Marauder's Map and the Protean Charm for the keys, right? My library needs to look into something like that. *grin* I'll bet Rita's behind the kidnapping somehow because she seems to be obsessed with Snape's marriage status and fortune. ^_^

Too funny that *everyone* knows of Hermione's crush, but him (until now).  I liked your version of the map, it's a unique take on it.  Looking forward to seeing what happens next!

Good start to the story, very intriguing.  I love his response to the owl exploding.  It's like nothing phases him - until he realises whom the hair belongs to. 

Snape to the rescue!

What a marvelous application of the Marauders' Map!!  Hermione could make Galleons by making maps for other departments and customers, even Gringott's.  Glad that Severus is getting back in shape in the spy business; he should have known about the rumors.  I'm looking forward to seeing how he finds the three Retrievers.  Thanks for updating!

Im hooked!   The Exploding owl in the first chapter was a nice touch. Can't wait to read more!

Squee!  I just found this yesterday so was incredibly pleased to see an update so quickly.  But Shame On You!!  You had me giggling in between my calls at work.  The line about Hermione fancying his bum had me almost laughing out loud.  And of course I got a call just when I read that.  Tsk tsk on me for reading at work, I guess.  Anyway, I loved your addition to the map.  What a wonderful way to track everything. 

oh, and finding Miss Granger as well, of course.Well, yes, that would be nice since she's the love of his life!With a knowing smile he murmured, ‘Good girl,’ and slipped the key into his pocket.Oh, my! Will someone remember to tell Hermione he said that?!?! She'll probably faint, but I'm sure she'd like to know. I absolutely adore Hermione's new use for magic behind the Marauders' Map. Taking it to so many new levels is to be expected from our dear Hermione. She's a girl after my alphabetized, indexed, color-coded heart! 

Poor Sara, simultaneously terrified and charmed of our beloved Potions Master.  Who could really blame her?And thus the plot thickens.  Wonderful so far!  I am eagerly awaiting the next installment.
