Since you leave the practical disposition of Rita Skeeter up to the reader's imagination.  Rita is in a bottle, on the beach, in the hands of Hermione ... if it were me, I'd toss the bottle as far out into the Caribbean as possible and leave it up to nature to see how long it takes Rita to float back to England's shores.  No air you say! Poke a little hole in the top of the lid.  Too cruel?  How about if HG casts a little known spell on Rita that forces an Animagus to remain in it's animal form and then turn her loose in the woods.

Thanks for the lovely story ...this is probably the only way Rita will get what she deserves!

Nicely ended.  Glad to see Hermione didn't let him go once she finally got his attention.  Well done and thank you for sharing!

Love this line.  And the entire last scene is poetry.  What I love the most about this chapter is the shades of Holiday Severus that echo my very favorite story, and yet the writing is even better now than it was then. With no pesky magic compelling them, only their mutual desire, they are rational and passionate. Their uncertanty feels real, but their ways of fighting it are unique and fitting. LOVE IT!

Such passion! My heart was about to beat out of my chest as I read the last section. All that bottled-up intense love has to be released sooner or later. He's kept it in check for decades! It's about time.

*sighs happily*  as always, a thouroughly satisfying ending to a wonderful story.  i loved hermione imagining what form holiday!severus might take.  :D   and dopey, dopey man thinking to do the 'honorable' thing and abandon her!  thank god hermione smacked some sense into him, figuratively speaking.   the rest is just inarticulate joyful gurglings on my part.

If that wasn't well worth the wait, I don't know what is.  You do everything with such depth and beauty of language that it just floors me.  I love that they were able to fall right into such a comfortable relationship.  They are true to their characters while still having a playful element to them that makes their interactions so much fun.

I am sorry to see this end and hope that you don't stay away too long.  You are truly one of the most talented authors that I have read here, and that's judging  you against  some fierce competition.  Thanks for another fantastic read!

Incidentally, I do hope they had the sense to dispose of Skeeter already, or at least pack her deep into their bags.  There is no doubt in my mind that those two are going to provide plenty of fodder for gossip this night.

Read this through in a oner, and loved the give and take betweeen them. The passion and teasing were wonderful. And poor Severus having to do a manual assessment, how hard life is for an ex-death eater.

I enjoyed their dancing around each other, and then the climax of Hermione just putting all her feelings out in the open, like a Gryffindor.  So glad this story ended happily with bum assessment and thorough manual examination. Thank you for this wonderful story!!
