I write fan fiction: I am a big SS/HG shipper, but I also like RL/HG, DM/LL and tastefully written Dramione or Lumione on occasion.
I photoshop: I use photoshop an awful lot to create my own banners and edit photos - I love my DSLR.
I am a bibliophile: Paperback, hardcover, graphic novel, fiction or non-fiction. You name it, I read it and collect it.
SEVERUS SNAPE IS MY ONE TRUE LOVE!!!
Reviews for Fallen Sparrow
Hm. Her wand is almost identical to Snape's. I'm surprised she didn't feel something when she held his!
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
It is indeed :p But even the slightest difference is an important one. I'm sure she could have used Snape's, but it would not have performed perfectly for her. Thanks for reviewing.
What a fabulous chapter! I'm blown away by Hermione's new wand– just like Snape's. Now we're getting somewhere. I am so looking forward to your next chapter! Well done, Angela!Beth
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
Ohhh Thank you! And yes! Almost exactly like his and there is a LOT more to come :D
oh dear, that's so awful! Excellent idea for a story, though. Poor Hermione.
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
Indeed - the prompt was to have Hermione kill Ron, turn dark and fall for an older man. Thanks!
interesting, i'm looking forward to where you take this story. thanks for all you time and effort.
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
Thanks. I hope it continues to interest you.
I'm really getting into this and I'm looking forward for the next update.
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
Thanks :) Glad you have enjoyed it so far.
So similar to Snape's... ooohh.... spooky!Livvy
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
Indeed, and more 'spooks' to come. Thanks!
The first step on the path to darkness--becoming disconnected from the people around you, especially those you were once close to. If Hermione's friends want to save her then they need to embrace her, not hold her away at arm's length. But then she's always been the strong one, it probably hasn't occured to anybody that she needs them. And where's twinkly old Dumbledore???
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
Old Twinkle-toes is around - soon. Thanks for the reviews and I hope you continue to follow this.
Poor poor Arthur--to have his son killed, and also to know that his killer was a victim as well so you can't even hate them with a clear conscience. If Severus has been placed in charge of her, it implies that certain powers wanted Hermione placed in Azkaban despite her having been controlled. "Remanded into custody" until a trial, which in the wizarding world could be little more than a kangaroo court depending on who had an agenda against you.Glad Luna was able to be there for Hermione when she got her memories back; sounds as though she's going to need all the friends she can get!
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
Indeed, but unfortunately there are others who do hate Hermione for no reason with a clear conscience. And she will indeed be needing help... Thanks!
Hate that Ron had to die, but I know it was one of the non-negotiable points of the Challenge prompt. Moody seems to think that everyone should be able to resist the Imperius curse, it seems! Big talk from a guy who was locked in a magical trunk for most of Harry's fourth year... Hermione will overcome, and hopefully Severus will help her to do that. Next chapter, please!
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
Ron dying was one of the rules of the challenge actually :p Though I dislike Ron, it was difficult for me to murder him. Thanks!
Research is good. Errant magic is bad. Fix it! *grin*
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
It will be :p Thanks
Fascinating start. Hermione's not exactly dark, at this point, is she - just as much a victimas Ron in fact.
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
It is true that she is not exactly dark per se, at this stage of the story, however, it would be such a waste to ruin it by denying it the chance to build up to that eventuality. Thanks, and I hope you continue to follow.
poor hermione - how painful...looking forward to more
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
Indeed - it is always painful to remember horrible things. Thanks!
Another interesting chapter. So Snape is to be responsible for her? In what way? And was that the final battle or is there another battle yet to come? ^_^
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
This was not the final battle - there is a LOT ore to come. Approx. 32 chapters more. Lol. Thanks!
What happened to Harry's loyalty and friendship? (retorical question) Dumbledore is being revealed as the master manipulator he is. His doddering old fool act is a great cover for the brilliant, powerful wizard he actually is. These are times when you realize the "light" and "dark" are not that far apart. Perhaps Dumbledore made the military determination Hermione has become a liability compared to other talented members of the Order, namely the Weasleys. Snape has so much empathy. Snape truly is the one person who understands what it is like to have seen Dumbledore turn a blide eye to the truth, such as during Sirius's attempted murder of him during school.
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
I couldn't help but to paint Dumbledore as a villain of sorts here. It seems so fitting to have people from both sides trying to attack Hermione. And to have Snape as her port in the storm :) Thanks for reviewing.
How terribly sad, poor Hermione I'm not sure if I can go the distance if it gets too sad I may not be able to finish, but I will try.
So, not Spinners End, after all. I like the idea of Severus having an unplottable cottage! Wonder what Dumbledore and Minerva would have to say if they ever found out. i was delighted to see that Severus had brought Luna to visit with Hermione. Luna is really the only friend she has left from the ranks of her classmates, and it was very kind of Severus to give her the address so she could come to visit when she had the time. I think Hermione really needs her friend now.I guess my comments last chapter about understanding why Dumbledore and Minerva would have worries about whether Hermione might be Imperiused again by Greyback was just whistling in the graveyard. They really did suspect her of being untrustworthy. How petty can Dumbledore be? Dragging her before the Wizengamot to decide if she is guilty of the murder of her friend is so not cool. I hope Severus is right about her not being found guilty. This ridiculous trial is rubbing salt in a wound. Being found guilty would be a stab in the back.Great chapter, Angela! Looking forward to the next one.Beth
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
Thanks so much Beth :) There are still a lot more twists and turns to come, and hopefully you will continue to enjoy Snape and Luna's companionship of H.
And if she's found guilty? Bumblebore is just as likely to do so just to get her back under his so-called 'benevolent' auspices. ^_^
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
Lol indeed. Thanks!
Wow. I thought Hermione's behavior was improving from her self destructive phase. What else is there to tell about Ron's death if they already have the memory? The only things I can think of that changed are that her soul is fractured and she needed a new wand. Surely Dumbledore would have already figured this out. McGonagall is being a total cow. Damn, what happens next?
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
You will see there is much more to come. Cheers for sticking around to read.
I love Luna. It seems true to her character that she would be loyal to Hermione despite what happened. Of course Snape is my hero. His tragic personal experience gives him such empathy when interacting with Hermione.
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
I am trying to stay true to Luna while at the same time giving her a slightly less dazed and more mature image. I am glad you like it. Thanks!
How disappointing that Harry had been staying away. At least Luna was with Hermione when she was in Poppy's care.
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
Yep, you will find more reasons to be dissapointed in the boy saviour soon :p Thanks.
I am pleased to see Hermione is older.
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
The challenge had rules :p I was going to make her about 22-ish. But 25 was the minimum.
Compelling introduction into what you say will be the "real story."
Response from Hanagasume (Author of Fallen Sparrow)
Thanks :D Real story is on the way :p
