I am glad that Severus didn't argue with Draco and Luna about taking shifts.  It won't do him any good to waste away at her bedside.I had half expected Harry and Ginny to pitch a fit about being turned away.I love that he is making nice, quiet, domestic plans for the two of them.  It shows that he hasn't given up hope.  I don't expect that she will care that he planned their future while she was away.Nice chapter, if a bit sad.

Playing that sort of waiting game is exhausting.  It was a good thing that Draco and Luna came to Hermione's room.  I think Severus needed those few moments to talk...  I hope Hermione will soon wake up.  If anything happens to her...Great chapter, m'dear.Beth

Essential to the plot or not, it is still an excellent chapter, albeit an emotional one. ^_^

Great battle scene! A lot of emotion and drama and the love between Severus and Hermione came across wonderfully.  Glad the nasty batard's dead!

And once again, you evil thing you, you leave us with a cliff-hanger! Oooooh! *grin* Well, at least the story's being updated again, so I really can't complain now, can I? Well, yes I can. ^_^

I go back and forth between loving dark Hermione, and cringing about her.  I think as long as Snape is there with her, she is under control so it is okay.I can't believe that Lucius was responsible for Snape's mother's death.  Well, yes, I can believe it, but no wonder he wanted to be the one to finish him off.I do hope both Draco and Hermione are okay *gulp*

I have no problem with the AK being sent towards Lucius, if that is what happened, but I hope it was Snape, or Hermione, or anyone other than Draco, really.  He may wish his father dead, but he shouldn't have to be the one to do it.I thought Hermione showed a lot of restraint with Moody.  More than he deserved, at any rate.The battle seems to be going well, but there is still time.  I do hope this tale has at least some semblance of a happy ending.

Ohhh... Hermione so threw that lol.

I cant wait for more! Great battle scene. It seems appropriate for Hermione to be the one to get rid of Bellatrix. Like the tender moments between Hermione and Severus as well. Great job.

‘Avada Kedavra!’  Who cast the Killing Curse?  Toward whom was it cast?  There are any number of players on both sides who could have fallen... or no one.  My first reaction was to think that Hermione may have cast it against Lucius.  Then I thought it might have been Severus against Lucius.  Then I considered if it might have been Draco casting it against his own father.  Could dumbledore have cast the curse?  Then I realized that we don't yet know if anyone had actually been hit by the curse.  I can't wait for the next chapter to post.  Beth

This is it!  I don't know whether to be glad or sad that Lucius knows that Severus and Hermione are together!  A big part of me wishes that none of the Death Eaters knew that they were at the Minsitry, but he definitely betrayed a sense of shock when he saw her.Whatever happens, It means so much that they were able have that glorious moment together and were able to declare their love for each other.  Thanks for the well written angst!Beth

I felt so many different emotions as I read this chapter.  I'm very glad that Severus and Hermione have had the chance to talk and share their feelings and their pasts. 

I hadn't expected the Dark Lord to move so quickly, but thank goodess Draco was able to let Severus know that a Ministry take-over was about to happen. 

Thanks for another illuminating chapter!  Now I'm off to read the next one.

I can't decide whether to be nervous or excited for the battle to come.  I was worried in the beginning, when no one else was in sight, that this was a way for Dumbledore to get rid of these two, and there wasn't really going to be back up from the order etc.  That would be ugly, don't do something like that!I did love the final moment between Severus and Hermione.  It was the right amount of sweet without being over the top.  I hope their last words were for nothing, and they both come out on the other side okay. *is nervous*
