Thank you so very much, Bella. I had a lot of fun wirting this story. As for Snape living, I don't know that I could ever bring myself to kill him off as he's my favorite characters. :)

Secretive muses is right. This story did not end at all like I had planned. It grew to more than twice the planned length and went along a completely unexpected path. That said, I really enjoyed the journey of seeing where my muese would lead me next. LOL

You know, that was one of the things that JKR did that always made me wonder. I just can't see someone like Hermione putting up with someone like Ron. It's like pairing Tonks and Remus, I never saw that one as plausible. Anyway, I remedied that one. LOL

Weren't the inner arguments a hoot? Once I started down that road, I really had a hard time stopping. I figure it's very plausible for someone like her to have an emotional and logical side that are in disconnect. And I'm glad you enjoyed the Slythering side of Lucius. I thought it came out all throughout the story. :)

LOL I got another one. LOL I had so much fun with that daydream. I was first going to have it be real, but it was way to early in the story for them to get together. That was so much more evil and Slytherin on my part. :)

After having gotten into, this is my favorite ship of canon characters. I have always preferred the characters and ships that aren't mainstream, though liking Severus puts me in the adult majority it seems. LOL 

Thank you so very much. This story in particular really helped me perfect the cliffhangar I hope that you will enjoy the stretch to the finish. There is an awful lot that happens in the last few chapters.

No worries on being too lazy to check. This is quite the epic story. I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter and I hope you don't find the story too addictive and have it keep you too long.  Pretty amazing for a story that started out as fluffy romance, huh?

I'm glad you enjoy my Lucius. As for the threesome with Severus, he's a very selfish person and wouldn't want to share Hermione. I agree she should be paired with an older wizard (and that AD is too older LOL). I'm glad you are enjoying this variety. If you haven't checked it out, I would recommend "To Regain Glory", and entirely different take on the LM/HG ship that will soon be having part 2 of the trilogy released.

See? This is exactly the sort of scream my evil plot bunnies like. Don't worry, the next installment should be up in a couple of days, RL permitting. Jen, I was horrified when the plot bunnies unleashed this whole plot thread on me, but it is war, and this really shows how truly reprehensible the Dark Lord and his followers are. I'm glad you like the Remus/Lucius dynamic. If ever there were two people in need of a good friend, it's the two of them. Now, the question is, will that friendship last or will Lucius return to his old ways, only having used Remus. I know, I can be horrible. Update will be coming very soon.

You know, it's been years (close to a decade) since I read the Eddings book. I wonder if my subconscious remembered? It is a horrible spell though. I was feeling particularly  or at least the evil plot bunnies were.
