Reviews for Razor's Edge
holy smokes Hermione has done it now, she just harmed a teacher even if it was an accident. Didn't she think that was it was too easy for her to get into the storeroom, I mean even reading it I knew it was just too easy. I hope Snape will be alright and Hermione will stop being a ninny. I hate to say this but she acting like Harry right now lol I can't wait for the next chapter to see what happens

I'm so glad that you are enjoying this! I wrote this a long time ago. It was my very first longfic, and I remember being absolutely terrified and thinking that it was terrible, so the fact that you seem to like it is an enormous ego boost. Thanks so much for your continued interest, and I will hope to continue to make it fun!
Wow! She doesn't know what the ingredients are in Voldemort's potion, but she does know the resurrection potion ingredients. So because this one is NOT the resurerection potion, she automatically assumes that it is for Voldemort. Perhaps Snape intends to administer it to Voldemort. Perhaps it is neither, but a new potion that Snape is working on. I love a good mystery, and you really have me on the edge of my seat with this mysterious cliffie! Way to go!Now... Hurry up and update!!!! (please) :D

I am so pleased that you are enjoying this! Thank you so much for your enthusiastic comments, they really help my self-esteem! I am waiting for the finishing touches from my beta, but the whole thing is finished already, so fear not, I won't leave you hanging. I just hope you like how it unfolds! *gets nervous* Thanks so much for sticking with it!
Response from ClayPotter (Reviewer)
Do they eventually end up trusting each other, even if it is after much angst and many fights? I can take just about anything as long as I know they end up on the same side. Since this is AU, I'm not sure what to think. The Potions Under Duress catagory doesn't automatically = an eventual romance. It just means that they are the main two characters in the story.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
You want me to tell you the ending already? *laughs* We aren't even halfway through yet! I will tell you that it is ten chapters long, so you have a bit to read through. I can't give it away! What if I told you it ended unhappily? Would you stop reading now? You'll just have to wait and see, my dear...
Response from ClayPotter (Reviewer)
I would still read, you have me hooked. You are right, of course, I wouldn't give away my ending either. But it didn't hurt to ask...
Wow thats some idea. I have no experience with cutting even though I work with students. I look foreard to more of the story.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
I hope that I can hold your attention with the rest of the story! Now I am worried that after that big bang of a first chapter I am going to drop the ball! *bites nails* Thanks for your interest so far, for reading it and for sending your review! I appreciate it!
Response from gersknightlady (Reviewer)
I really doubt you'll drop the ball, you have a great start. Stop biting and write LOL.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
Hehehe... oh, it's all written and finished, never fear! Although the lines in the queue these days are so frightfully long that you may have forgotten it by the time it gets back around into circulation!
this is quite fascinating. I will continue.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
Thanks, I am glad you are enjoying it! Thanks for reading it!
That was... intense. Kind of hard to read, to tell the truth. Not only is Hermione struggling, but Snape isn't really a good guy with a cruel exterior. He's really out for himself, and any help he gives has an ulterior motive. Usually Snape's kind of a dark knight, but you're taken the knight part out. I'm curious (and apprehensive) about where this is going. I love your stories, but (and because) they take us to places we aren't comfortable with.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
Oh, don't give up on our dark knight just yet! He might surprise you as the story goes on... although I will admit that this isn't your standard story. I'm really glad to hear that you find my stuff a little bit discomfiting, and I hope that this one keeps to tradition, but in a good way. Thanks for the compliment, and as always, for reading and having faith in me!
I am hooked by this dark and intriguing storyline in addition to your fabulous writing. Please hurry up with the next chapter.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
Thank you so much for the compliment! It's all written and just awaiting the beta and long queue here! Thanks for your interest and for reading it!
Only the first chapter, I hope. ^_^
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
The whole thing is written already. Just waiting on the beta! Thanks for reading it!
Oh dear, I certainly hope that she doesn't make a habit of cutting herself. To me that is very out of character for her. But this is your story, and I assume that it is essential so she would need to turn to Snape for help.Very interesting beginning.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
You've got it exactly right. Don't worry, I am not going to belabor that point. I worried that it was a little bit of an OOC behavior for her, but it was just a plot device to move the stroy along. Thanks for your review and I hope you enjoy what comes next!
A Snape/Hermione fic, AND it is multichaptered?! I didn't expect a Birthday gift for at least another few weeks :) Again, you take a subject like this that I find absurd because I can't quite grasp the concept of it, and you put me in the character's shoes where I can at least get a feel for what she is doing and why.It took a lot of nerve, and maybe desperation to go to Professor Snape, and I am so glad that he did not belittle her for her actions, both the cutting, and approaching him.I really loved the means by which he healed her. It seemed very self-sacrificing, even if it is only a little skin off his arm. The whole thing had quite an intimate feel to it. You've left me with lots of questions, which is good for you, because it means I will come back for more (was there ever any doubt?). I'm curious to know what it is that he wants her to do. Is it truly grunt work and he is now lucky enough to have someone to pawn it off to? Is he asking her to come to him each day so he can keep an eye on her? He seems very accepting of the situation... does he have some experience with this particular problem? Inquiring minds want to know! Very nice first chapter. I'll be anxiously awaiting more!
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
LOL! I'm glad I got your attention! I will tell you (and only you) not to get too excited. This was my very first longfic, and I just broke it out and dusted it off. I am afraid that it isn't going to stand up to intense scrutiny now that I have been in fandom for awhile. I'm quite nervous that it is going to come off as naive or OOC now that I've been writing awhile. But it is finished, that much I can promise you. I'm glad that you enjoyed this little bit so far. I hope the rest goes as well. (now get ready for a long e-mail from me)
Interesting that the magic can tell the intent of the self-harm. Good start. :)
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
Why, thank you! I hope that you enjoy what I have in store!
Hmmmmm, intriguing. I'm almost afraid to read the next chapter considering his intentions could be nefarious! But read it I shall, since this bit of psychological drama makes an interesting read. I don't undertand cutting - although someone very close to me cuts herself. I *do* understand self-inflicted harm though (my own is through food) so I'm fascinated and repelled at the same time. You've got me hooked with this chapter.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
I am so glad that you are enjoying it! I have the whole thing written, so have no fear that I am going to leave you hanging. Now it is just a matter of getting it all back from the beta and through the long queue. I hope you can be patient and last through the wait. Thanks so much for the review and for reading it!
