Reviews for Razor's Edge
It actually concerns me that I am not a little more nervous for her than I am. She might have been ok with Draco, but she really should have insisted that he leave his thugs behind. Still, she has shared a little skin, maybe a little blood with the dreaded potions master. Doesn't that bond give her some kind of super hero kickass powers? Oh, am I trying to write your story again? Sorry about that :) Still holding my interest and then some. We just might make it to chapter ten with no train wreck!
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
Oh, the train wreck is on its way. It's been so long since I have read this that I can't remember quite where, or I'd give you ample warning. So, it must be coming up soon! *bites nails* But never fear, you have a much better option for a story just a few spaces down in the queue (and that Draco is much better behaved!. Um. Well, he's more entertaining and thug-less, anyway). Thanks, love, for reading it!
Hermione is a twit here. I want your smooth, angsty Draco back. *wahhhh* :p
Response from sunny33 (Reviewer)
*loks around* Haha, beat her again!
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
LOL ... you two crack me up. And yes. Hermione is a bit of a twit, because I totally was. this was my very first fanifc, so you must forgive me. I was still learning. I now know the pleasures that a suave Draco can bring. And now, I shall never go back! ;) Glad to hear that you like him in PIE, though. I read all the reviews, but I can't comment on her account. It kills me how many people like Harry better. I am jumping up and down inconsternation about that. I think more people have called him an idiot ... anyway, thanks for reading this one, but mostly that one, which is our pride and joy (and wait for the next few chapters. There are going to be some fireworks soon!)
Response from sunny33 (Reviewer)
Can't wait!
Another great chapter, I'm on pins and needles. I hope Severus come to Hermione's rescue.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
I am so glad to hear that you are enjoying it, and I promise that you won't have to wait so long between chapters now. Thanks so much for your continued reading, and your review!
Oh wow. She can be blind at times can't she?Interesting that Snape called her Hermione and didn't seem to realise it.Looking forward to seeing what happens next!
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
Poor Hermione is innocent. Too bad Draco is evil! in this one, rather than charming. I promise you won't have to wait as long between installments for the upcoming chapters. Thanks for sticking with this, I appreciate that you are still reading and reviewing!
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! Poor Hermione. And all to keep Snape's secret. He had better come up with a way for her to alert him to trouble from now on. Of course, that won't help her this time...Evil cliffy! Now all we can do is wait.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
I promise your wait will not be so long next time! Thanks for your patience. And yes, Hermione is in danger here, but you shall soon find out what happens. I think she will gain some wisdom by the end of the stroy, in one way or another. Thanks so much for your reviews, and for keeping up with the story!
That wasreally stupid of Hermione to go off with Malfoy like that. She shouldn't have trusted his word for anything, or at least figured she would be part of his plan, but not in the good way. With any luck, Severus will notice her lateness, and go looking for her. Hopefully he'll be on time before any damage could be done.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
Poor Hermione was a bit naive. I was thinking that she was never imagining that any real harm would come to her at the hands of her classmates. I promise, you'll find out what happens in the next chapter! The story is nearly done, it's only 10 chapters in total! Thanks for reading along, I really appreciate it.
Interesting. I look forward to seeing how this works into the story with Snape.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
I was re-reading this, and I was thinking, "Oh, man! This took a left turn! I hope I bring it back to the plot!" I wrote this a long time ago, and I haven't reviewed it in ages, so I am right there with you, nervous and hoping I don't lose your good opinion. Thanks for sticking with it!
Nice balance to this chapter of walking the line of making it light or dark. Glad to see she's seeing the whole picture now and willing to help.Looking forward to seeing what happens next!
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
Ah, as I just got my internet back after weeks and weeks, I had chapter 6 waiting for me from my beta! So now I just have to clean it up and post it! I thank you very much for your interest in this story, and for your wonderul comments. I really appreciate them, thanks so much for reading!
All hail the all-powerful, all-knowing Dumbledore! I like his subtlety in letting Hermione he knows. Well done!
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
It is funny, because now that I have been in fanfic for awhile, I see that people don't really like Dumbledore, but I still do. I like that he is so wise, so it's good that you like him, as well. Thanks for sticking with the story!
Response from Jinxie (Reviewer)
It's more the way that people write Dumbledore that makes you either like him or lump him... He like Snape is easy to write either way. ;)
Ah, spectacular cliffie and very clever spell of Hermione's.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
LOL! Now I will be spamming you after you have totally forgotten this story. I am glad you thought the spell was clever! *buffs nails as head swells*
Response from Jinxie (Reviewer)
No worries. ;)That's the thing; some stories leave you questioning the title and how it relates to the story. Your story however ties in rather nicely in all regards.
I like how you've all but eliminated the one potion, but still left it there as a possibility. And interesting having Harry and Ron recongnise the brilliance that is Snape, even if it is a backhanded comment.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
I am so sorry this took so long to respond! I have been without internet for ages, and I just got it back! Thanks for liking this story! I didn't think anyone would, so am glad that you are enjoying it! You made my day!
Uh-A-Ma-Zing!!! great story! i love how H realizes she has to trust someone and that someone is S! awesome story, please update soon. "Cheers",

I am so glad that you are liking this! In fact, I just got back my internet connection today, so as soon as I tidy up Chapter 6, it will be posted! Thanks so much for reading, and for your lovely comments!
And the plot thickens even more. Loved the interaction between our duo. Great job!
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
To hear that they have good chemistry and that they are interacting well is quite a compliment, and I appreciate that! Of course that is one of the big things I am for, so to hear it is coming across, well ... I thank you for your remarks, and for continuing to read it!
Ack, this is getting even more exciting and interesting! I really like your characterizations and the overall feel of this story; I look forward to reading more!
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
Oh,thanks so much! I was really nervous about people liking this, so I am glad to see that you are enjoying it so far. Thanks for reading, and for your review, I really appreiciate it.
Thestral heart. Bloody hell, he's not asking for much is he.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
*laughs* I promise you, there are answers in the next chapter! As soon as it gets beta'd, more becomes clear. Thanks for reading!
Hey, thanks for the A/N. You kept saying this would derail at some point and I didn't believe you. And then we had just gotten into the thick of things and it was complete with one chapter. I was quite worried.Well, at least he isn't asking much of her. What does he need next, a million dollars and her first born child? I'm very intrigued to see what he has up his sleeves and I hope she was right to trust him. Time will tell...
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
Leave it to me, the minute I get validated, and here I am, putting O-fics in the fanfic, marking stories complete that aren't ... *starts sweating* Can you imagine the long e-mail you would get if they revoked my status after all that? LOL! Don't worry, it's a 10 chapter story, but I warn you. It falls apart somewhere ...
Did you know this story is marked complete? It doesn't seem as if it is...
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
Yes, and I apologize. I put something in the author's notes about that, because I couldn't figure out how to change it. There are, in fact, 10 chapters. Hope you continue to read, and thanks for leting me know!
OMG! This is a powerful story, and I can't believe Hermione has lost so much self-control. But she has certainly come to the right man for help. Now I'm wondering just what sort of "payment in blood" he will bedevising.Well done! I'm off to the next chapter.Beth
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
Oh, I am so glad that you are enjoying it! I hope it doesn't disappoint as it goes on. Thanks for reading it!
Hmm. What is he up to? Spose I'll have to be patient... :)
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
Ah, I have the whole thing written. Just waiting on my SUPER-SLOW beta! Thanks for reading it! This was my first long-fic, so I kind of cringe when I look back on it. I appreciate that you made the time for it!
Dumbledore as the omniscient figure is always a little scary. We all like our little secrets. Mind you, he didn't know about the Easter Bunny, so there's hope yet! :)
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
My knowledge of canon is so flawed, LOL! I had to have my beta remind me that they do, in fact, have Easter in the wizarding world. So I had a bit of rewrites in that scene! *brain is rotted from too much fanfic and not enough reading of ACTUAL books*
Oops. Damaging a teacher is never a good plan. But I liked her clever spell.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
Thanks! This was written when I was still new to fanfic. I think my brain has melted. I could never be that creative now!Thnaks for reading!
Did she really think those two would understand? Poor Hermione, to hold them in such high esteem. :)
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
Ah, she's young yet! Forgive her the foolishness of youth; I have a feeling she's going to regret her inexperience more than once in the coming chapters! Thanks for reading! (And I haven't forgotten that I owe you a rebuttal fic!)
Response from sunny33 (Reviewer)
I'm waiting with bated breath. :P
oh yes this is getting better and better. I love the twists and turns can't wait for more.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
I am glad that you are still interested! That really is delightful to hear. *frowns at beta* Now I am just waiting to get all my t's crossed and i's dotted, and you shall have the rest! We are halfway through! Thanks for reading!
WOW! Snape has control issues. Hermione has control issues. Combine them together and add some insubordination... KABOOM!!!That was wholly unexpected and angsty. I can only imagine how much trouble she'll be in for bringing harm to a teacher. But Snape's agenda seems nefarious. It's not looking good for the two of them. Well done, keppiehed.
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
Ooooh! I'm so glad that you approve! I am still worried that it is going to fall apart somewhere, but for now you seem to like it. Thanks so much for sticking with it, I am really so glad for your review! *hugs you*
Well I most certainly did not anticipate this turn of events! How dreadful for her, the entire storeroom scene from start to finish. I love how she stands up to him even though she knows it means certain death, if only metaphorically. And what I both love and hate about Severus Snape is that it is darn near impossible to tell when he is acting with nefarious purpose, and when he is just simply being Severus Snape. I am fearful for the fallout from the accident. But maybe, even though it is kind of her fault, she will save his life and then he will owe her and they will be even. No thestrals harmed in the making of this story. Yeah, that seems too easy to me as well. Keep up the great work and I will be waiting on pins and needles for this story to tank, LOL. You've promised it would ;)
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
That made me laugh, because I was just thinking that same thing. It's like watching a train wreck, because I have this terrible feeling like it falls right off the cliff somewhere. Don't say I didn't warn you! (go read PIE! That one doesn't tank!)
Response from HBAR (Reviewer)
I've really liked this so far, so when you say that it will go bad a some point, I just don't yet see it. I'm trying to picture what the train wreck involves and here is all I can come up with:Hermione runs over to Snape, only to realize her greatest fear; She has nearly killed a professor. Too paralyzed to run for help, she curls up on the floor next to him, sobbing uncontrollably."Please don't die, Professor. I promise if you just live, I'll get you anything you want. A hundred thestral hearts if that's what makes you happy. Just don't die!"In what seems a moment of providence, Snape stirs a little and opens his eyes. Hermione tries desperately to calm herself and reassess the situation. Before she can form any coherent thought, he jumps to his feet."You're... you're not hurt?""I'm fine. And guess what? You're on Candid Camera!""What? You mean this was all a scam? I don't really have to get you a thestral heart?""No," he says, laughing gleefully,"you're off the hook."Although most did not recognize the sound, the thud as Hermione passed out on the dungeon floor could be heard throughout the castle.Do you feel better now? Yours can't be THAT kind of train wreck, LOL. As for PIE... I am reading it and loving it!
Response from Keppiehed (Author of Razor's Edge)
O.o.... did you hack my files and pre-read Chapter 4? Either that or great minds think alike! (don't say I didn't warn you)
