Reviews for Ripple Effect
Peyote buttons disguised as bottle caps. Astral projection. Moonlight personified. How well you capture the essence of Luna.
ooh very interesting. i like luna's response to trelawney, lol.
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
A lot of people do. Only made sense once you read up on peyote =) Thank you for the review =)
i love what you did with neville in this chapter! he grew so much in the 7th book, and i liked your perspective on that growth!
Luna is truly amazing. The way she scolded Trelawny for pulling her back ... just so Luna.
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
Yeah, I think Luna's gonna be my new favorite character =)Thank you for the review =)
weird stuff! Great update!
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
Thank you for the review =)
Alright, now the story has got some sens with the previous chapters. Because I was really beginning to wonder. Were it not for the challenge, I probably would have given up already.
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
Oh please don't give up! It might take us a while to get where we need to go, but we (and you) will have fun while we're doing it =) Thank you for the review =)
This was amusing. Luna should lay off the peyote before entering Trelawney's dreams.
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
The peyote is how she gets in the dream world. That's why she made the mental note to never return. If someone walked around in my dreams, they would think the same thing =) Thank you for the review =)
Very clever making Luna a dream-walker. The experience was most delightful. I hope Hermione got the message.
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
I like Luna. She can make things so lively =)Thank you for the review =)
Interesting chapter. I am still waiting to see how it all fits together.
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
That's the great thing about round robins, anything is possible =) Thank you for the review =)
Subtle and tantalizing. Can't wait for more.
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
Thank you! Next installment coming up...
I must admit I started this story three times before I was able to get the chapter read; it took a bit for it to grab me. Now that it has, I look forward to continuing to read further installments.
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
Thanks for reading and reviewing! :)
Full marks for a risky style of writiing that lets things slowly come together.
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
Thank you! It's exciting to go out on a limb in competition. :)

Horace is such a d-bag.
Author's Response: Ah, yes, he does have those tendencies... Thanks for reviewing!
oooh, what a fascinating beginning. i look forward to reading more of this!
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
Thank you! Glad you liked our set up. :)
Your Snape is dark, but his actions speak for themselves. Horace only seems to look out for himself.Good start!
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
Thank you! I'm glad Snape comes across adequately dark. :)
Ah, this one has the potential to be dark, as Snape walks the tight-rope. But Slughorn as an unwilling bad guy? Probably more plausable than the way JKR depicted him, based on his personality.
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
I've always wondered at the dynamic between all the 'other players' left to their own devices for most of DH. Glad you liked this view of Slughorn!
wonderful! How interesting that the ostensibly good, (or at least ostensibly neutral) Slughorn is not as good as the ostensibly bad SNape. This is a brilliant beginning; you've portrayed both Slughorn and Snape with humor and perspicacity
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed the interplay between these two and their dual personalities!
that's a very intriguing beginning. i like your revisiting this period and showing us more of snape's POV. :)this sentence made me grin: By the time he got around to ordering more red ink, his favorite shade would undoubtedly be discontinued.
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
I'm so glad you liked that sentence! I enjoyed adding a bit a levity. :) Thanks for reviewing!
Interesting. Severus is correct when he says that there could be extreme unforseen circumstances from Horace's fake ingredients. He is just so good at walking each line he treads and each side he turns. Good entry! Sara
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
Thanks, Sara! Snape is a talented manipulator, and it's fun to push his abilities. :)
Hey there SlytherinLaurel! I love how you've started this story for team Jupiter! Ooooooh a bad Sluggy is cool. I can't wait to see what happens next! Much Love ~ Brena
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
Thank you, Brena! The invitation to play with Slughorn was just too much to resist. He doesn't come out to play nearly often enough. :)
yes, little does Horace know
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
Slughorn does seem the shortsighted type at times, doesn't he? Thanks for reviewing!
Whoa. Awesome start. I love the premis and the starting point, and this Severus is wonderfully written.
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed Snape. He just slipped into this role so nicely.
Great first chapter! Very insightful and dark!
Response from Jupiter (Author of Ripple Effect)
I'm glad you enjoyed the dark twist! Thanks for reading and reviewing!
