Reviews for Ripple Effect
Hermione went through a past life regression? fascinating!
and Luna is a dreamwalker! this is so interesting!
Trelawney! I bet it's her. otherwise, if she were on the good side, she wouldn't be telling the headmaster about Luna-- UNLESS she has him pegged for a good guy becasue of her divinations. Hmm, i just worked both sides of the Trelawney theory.
Anyway, good chapter!
very interesting. the mystery chapter is explained (also the bottle-cap necklace, LOL). I love stories featuring reincarnation since i am a believer. And the dreams were great.
Nice cliffie.
You put me on the edge of my seat. Great chapter!
so who is about to enter? Neat chapter.
blimey - it's very intruiging!
It wasn't clear in the beginning of the chapter that Hermione had the invisibility cloak. I was led to believe that the DE who was aiming at her must have been a really bad shot. Then you mentioned the cloak later and I realized the DE must have been aiming at something else entirely.
At any rate, it will be interesting to see who comes out of the fireplace. I suspect it will be someone we think is a friend.
Yes, I always felt that Muggle technology combined with Wizarding talents could be the best (or in this case perhaps the worst) of both worlds.
Interesting plot twist.
She'd better get herself some good old Muggle ballistics kits. :)
Oh, Avery is the one who wanted the guns, but what an ebil cliffie! We were jsut about to see who was behind the Death Eater's getting them - well, we know that the Dark Lord wanted them, planned this apparently. My two guesses, either Lucius Malfoy or Severus Snape, judging by Hermione's reaction.
Interesting how a group so anti-muggle would be willing to use their technology... even if it is effective. Does their leader know? I don't have a clue where this story is going (that's not meant in a bad way)!
Now who could that be?
You, dear author, win the Evil Cliffie Award for this week! You led us right up to the edge and dangled us over beautifully. Well done!
I like Hermione's creative use of the word "borrow". ;)
A bit of clarification: Was the gunman just practicing and not actually aiming at Hermione? I thought at first that he was actually attacking her, but he seems to have had no notion of being followed or anything...
I can totally imagine a bunch of the Death Eaters being against the Muggle weapons; that was well written.
Nice cliffie; I'm curious to see who's masterminding the introduction of Muggle weaponry. ^_^
Nice start to the fic. I'll be interested to see where this goes ...
Is it Voldy himself? Or Slughorn? Maybe Snape. I bet it's Snape.
Nice cliffie.
I love the idea of having Luna using elements of Native American mysticism, even if the thought of Luna on peyote is rather scary.
This was an excellent chapter, I enjoyed it very much!
Now I'm dying to know who the mysterious new arrival is, though I have my suspicions.
At any rate, what an EVIL CLIFFIE you've gifted us with... well done!
Credit for a difficult way of telling a story.
Still maintaining the vignette sytle.
Adventuresome story for a team effort.
Hey carley! Great job with chapter 4! Everything seems to be coming together nicely! I loved Trelawney's dream! I can't wait to see what happens next. Much Love ~ Brena
What a dream-vision for Trelawney to be having, LOL. Am hoping that Severus does hear about it from Trelawney, though (er, at least a censored version), and decides to keep the antidote on the interior. ;)
"If you had been a dream-walker, you would have known that forcibly bringing someone back to their body could end up with you having puke on your shoes!"
^ LOL Nice to see Luna with a little more snark in her to go with all that dreaminess. ;)
