I am a beginning writer and I'm in love with the world of fantasy. I own a small farm with my husband who supports my odd fasination with the plane of make-believe. We have two small children and I have a full-time position as "mother".

He's being an idiot, but I'm sure Hermione will forgive him, she always does.
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
Maybe not right away...
This story has been lots of fun! I look forward to seeing Snape come around!
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
Thanks! And I hope you have as much fun watching him come around as he has doing it!
Was just checking to see about an update and just thought I would let you know that I can't wait for the next chapter!
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
Why, thank you! I'm glad you are excited for another chapter. I am happy to tell you that it is in queue. Should be any day now that it gets posted.
I already reviewed this, but here I am again. Sorry, it is very hard to get rid of me :) Just wanted to say that I really enjoy your story and I hope you aren't discouraged by not placing in the top three. I am always afraid with these challenges that authors will think that their story is not very good or worth finishing if they didn't get the most votes. So, I am putting in my request for the next chapter. Please!!! I really want to know what happens! Keep up the great work!
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
How sweet! No, I am not discouraged. I was very happy with getting Honorable Mentions. I think those who won really deserved it (I voted for them). Anyway, I have the story done, I'm just waiting on my beta for the next few chapters. I will post the next one soon. I promise. Thanks for the encouraging words!
He's jealous to top it off? Hermione should do something about her tendency to run off at the mouth.
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
Yes, he's a bit jealous, not that he would admit it...And Hermione tries to curb her speech, but Severus is just so good a baiting her.
I can't beleive how innane Hermione is, or how short sighted. When the letters and Howlers started to arrive you'd think the chit would have gotten a clue? She's not the sharpest in the box in this story at all. Winky's reaction to the red flyers was cute.Oh, my stars! Slughorn burnt to death? and Minerva? Oh, what didnt Minverva just Transfigure the flames, or raise a wand? That seems so OC for her. She is a fighter alfter all?
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
I wanted to focus on Hermione's stubbornness more than her intelligence. Sorry that I make her below the standard.:(She was pretty set on S.P.E.W. even though everyone told her to give up, so I wanted the flame to be rekindled with the same vigor as before.Minerva was hanging up her clothes and was hit from behind, so she was knocked unconcious before she even knew what happened. Thanks for reviewing and for the stars.
Response from beaweasley2 (Reviewer)
Oh O_o well, you definately got that across. Sorry. Me dense. Got to know you really have me going if I'm babbling long reviews! Fun story... off to read more of it!
Your story has me laughing my....(Oh! I'd better be careful what I say, huh?) LOL Seriously, loving the story & shame on Sev! I absolutly adored the "finger licking good" scene, Im sure Sev did too - How like Hermione to be more concerned for his reputation than herself. The conference should prove very ineresting. I just hope that it doesn't take a hyperbole toooo severe (possibly life threatning) effecting Hermione herself for him to actually, seriously, start helping fix the situation.I wonder how long it will take Hermione to figure out that it only happens when Sev is around? Will she try to avoid him? - I mean, it's not like they're joined at the hip or anything! <evil grin>Looking forward to your next update!
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
Oh, you're thinking right along the same lines as I am...not joined at the hip though...Severus learns the hard way that he should have been helping all along. Just not until we get some more fun out of them, he he he.Hermione figures it out in due time, she just needs a little prodding. I'm glad you live the story. The next chapter is in queue.
What is it going to take before Severus demands that Winky do whatever is necessary to end this curse. I still think he should threaten her with clothes. LOL.I feel so sorry for Oliver now. Even though I thought he was a bad actor because he only wanted to get close to Hermione so he could get under her robes, I think that losing one of his dangly bits was punishment enough. I could understand if he never wanted to speak to her again. Curse or no curse, every time he spends any time in her company something horrid happens to him.I will have to say that I was LMAO when Hermione was seductively sucking Severus' fingers. She was so into it, feeling her own breasts and casting "come hither" looks at him, that I wasn't a bit surprised that he felt himself "getting into it" too. I'm glad that Hermione chose to keep her regular Sunday afternoon tea date with Severus. It appears that the protections he had put around his heart are beginning to weaken, and not a moment too soon to my way of thinking. I can't wait to see how events play out while they are in Finland. I'm sure some very embarrassing things will happen, and Hermione will come off looking like a fool, but I hope nothing happens to hurt anyone. At this point, I think Severus would have to shoulder the blame since he knows what the cause is and has chosen to do nothing to stop it. In fact, he is leading her to voice one hyperbole after another that lead to these untoward occurrences. OMG! I just had a thought: what kinds of things could happen if one night at dinner Hermione has a little too much wine and begins saying whatever thoughts run through her mind. Umm umm umm umm umm. Severus could end up loving' or hating it, but I'll be he will be questioning his loyalty to Lily's memory. Great story! I'm always thrilled when I see you have updated.Beth
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
There are so many avenues this story could take. Just think of all the hyperboles out there, we use them all the time! I have people posting reviews full of them, and I didn't even think of using them. They would have been great! The problem with Wood is that he's a bit hard-headed. He doesn't like her, but he does...well, you'll see. And the finger licking scene was so much fun to write. I'm glad you enjoyed it.Severus doesn't want to know the cure because he's having his revenge, his payback for her constant appearance in his life, but what he doesn't realize is that he actually likes having her around. He get's some sense knocked into him in a bit. *evil laugh*Wine could be good...hmm. I've already finished the story, but I could add something in, if I see a place for it. I like the idea. I just need more hyperboles or idioms, my resources are depleated. (hint, hint)Anyway, I love reading your reviews. I've sent in the next chapter just today, so a few days in queue and it'll be up. As always, thanks for reviewing!
Response from braye27 (Reviewer)
Hummm... how about:1. Laughing my ass off.2. You can kiss that s**t goodbye. Ewwwwwwwwww!3. You could have knocked me over with a feather.4. It's raining cats and dogs.5. The rain is coming down in buckets.6. He's got ants in his pants.7. Hold your tongue!8. He's a pig.9. That really frosted his balls! If any of these are repeats, I apologize.
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
Actually, most of those I'm going to already use for future chapters, or something quite close. Hope that doesn't give anything away! Thanks for your help. There are a few that I haven't thought of on here and I'll see what I can do...
Well, she'd be up shit creek without a paddle if she started using Kiwi expressions! ;)
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
Ha ha!!! I love it! She really would be in trouble then.
He was surprised that she was worried about him, which is making him think. That is good.
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
He's realizing that she cares, that's why she's always concerning herself with others. And at times, it's a good thing.
Amusing... but Winky created a dangerous situation. Hopefully they will find a way to end this curse quickly.
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
They have to acutally trust each other before they can find a cure. But meanwhile, they have a few interesting adventures. Thanks for reviewing,
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
.
Really too bad about Oliver. Was Poppy able to... ahem... restore him?
You know, I know Snape can be a jerk, but after all of the things that the Marauders did to him. I think he'd be the last person to take pleasure in seeing the embarrassment of others, especially when he could help in some way. Both he and Minerva chuckling over Hermione's stuffed face was immature on both of their parts.
That was a hot finger scene. And I like that she was more concerned about Severus' reputation than any embarrassment on her part.
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
When Oliver "returned" the gift he was given a full credit...if you get my drift. And I think Severus wasn't expecting that to exactly happen, he was just hoping Hermione would say any phrase.I'm so glad you like the finger scene. I was having doubts about it being what I envisioned, but eh, I was happy with it. And her concern for Severus' reputation is helping to melt the snow around his heart.
Well, she's starting to figure it out. I suspect this curse is more upsetting than she lets on.
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
Yes, I haven't really showed her reactions to the curse, but I will soon.
Ok, I know it is not her fault, but if I was Oliver, I think that last one would have ended our friendship too. Severus can be such a jerk. I did like the Christmas dinner scene. Good thing she has the curse as an excuse for her odd behavior. Can't wait to see what happens at the conference!
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
Oliver has every right to end the relationship, I agree. But he's not done...the poor man just can't dodge the aim of these curses. I had to have someone to be the butt of all the jokes.I'm glad you liked the Christmas dinner with the fingers! And the conference has some twists, good and bad. Thanks for reviewing.
Can't wait to see what follows finger licking good.
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
I'm sure you'll like it, I promise.
I guess Wood really wouldn't give, um, you know, for a signed broom. LMAO.
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
Haha, I guess not. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
such a cute and clever tale! I am really enjoying this.
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
I'm so glad you like it,
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
! And thank you for the wonderful comment. That really brightened my day.
Oh, Winky's curse is priceless! The 'bent over backwards' thing really had me in stitches, imagining the entire staff bent over backwards with a smirking Snape standing above them. I can't wait to see what other chaos that sneaky little elf has in store for Hermione!
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
I'm so glad you like it. There is a lot more chaos coming up! The next chapter is coming soon.
Engaging story. The robes melted? What kind of robes were these?
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
I was thinking of something along the lines of nylon. I always thought they sort of melted as the burned...I could be wrong. Thanks for reveiwing.
Oh my goodness! This one left me gaping at the screen. I am shocked that (at least) Minerva didn't apparate out or use a freeze-flame charm or something! I have to go on reading now!
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
Well, when Minerva was hit with the wall of fire she didn't have time to do anything. It was completely unexpected. And being older, her reflexes aren't what they used to be. Sorry for the shock, it was a bit drastic. But all things happen for a reason.
Getting in over his head indeed! Part of me loves that he is going to play with her a bit. That same evil part anxiously awaits the point where it comes back to bite him in the ass. How pathetic is it that each day that I read one of your chapters, I find myself sitting at work noticing every time someone utters a hyperbole. You'd be surprised how often it happens. So far I don't think I have laughed out loud which is a good thing. Can't have them thinking I'm loony. Waiting on pins and needles for the next chapter. Ouch!
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
Hahahahahahaha!!!!I hear hyperboles everywhere too! If only we realized how often we say them. It's just a natural thing. The next chapter is coming up soon!
Yes, what could possibly happen? Heh heh heh... I think that snake's going to be biting Severus on the arse before this is all over with!Minerva is bound not to reveal what she knows the Headmaster wishes to be kept secret, but she's clever--I'm sure she can manage to steer private conversations with Hermione in a direction which will hopefully encourage her to come to the correct conclusions on her own.Ah, I can't wait to see what happens next!
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
What could happen indeed. I love your hyperbole! Snakes are very fitting for Slytherins. Maybe I can work that one into the story...Minerva can't reveal anything, but she can be very persuading.More soon!
He's being a jerk, but I think he'll be hoisted by his own petard.
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
Yes, he's being a jerk. But he can justify it. But he has his own coming, don't worry.
Well, now we know what is triggering all these bizarre occurrences, but no one ('cept Winky, and she ain't talkin') knows how to stop it. And, of course, Severus would try to turn things to his advantage and have a bit of fun at Hermione's expense. He may have a few chuckles along the way, but something tells me that events will go horribly wrong before this curse is removed.Without knowing the exact wording of the curse, there is really no way to stop it. I hope Severus knows what he is doing.I can't even imagine what you have in store for Hermione next!Beth
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
Does anyone really know what they are doing? Hindsight sucks!I love ruining my characters lives! Just wait!
In over his head, indeed. I think he'll be sorry he didn't tell her about the effects of the curse. But that's just me.
Response from Elizabeth (Author of Cursed Love)
Will he be sorry? Not right away...
