So, Hermione will be brewing potions for Snape to consume. Hmm... I wonder if that will please him or irritate him. I imagine the first reaction will be irritation until he realizes what a good job she has done!AU or not, very realistic up to this point.

I'm looking forward to the next chapter.  So far I'm enjoying this story very much.

Oh I love it when author's give Deathly Hallows the raspberry.  I never did care for several elements of that book, especially in regards to Severus.

Hermione, Draco and Neville - now there's a trio to make you do a double take.  Fantastic beginning.  I'm glad that Lucius was a friend to Severus (even before the vow).  Now to find out what happened to him.  :D

Thank you for this story. It never made sense to me that Snape, a brilliant Potions master, and knowing Voldemort as well as he did, would not have a contingency plan in place should the Dark Lord use Nagini against him. And I'm especially thrilled to hear that your story is complete and we can look forward to seeing it completed.
