I love writing and reading. I work from home, which gives me the temptation to read or write fanfic instead of work! I have lived in both the US and UK. I currently live in the US, with my husband and three beautiful girls (all of whom wish to attend Hogwarts when they're of age! LOL).
Reviews for What Dreams May Come
Well everyone knows the facts now and Hermione still left. It appears Lily has been trying to lure Severus to her for quite some time.
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
Hermione is gone, but that doesn't mean there's no chance left!!! Lily wasn't really trying to lure Severus, per se. She's just one of those 'attention whore' type of people. If there's an interesting man around, she wants his full attention. Severus was guilty of being naive, and taking it for granted that Hermione would just naturally assume his attentions toward Lily were platonic.Next chapter is in queue, I promise, there's a big pay-off coming!!!!!Thanks so much for reading and for reviewing!*hugs*Rhiannon
I have to say, I am seriously not liking Lily at all in this story. She seems to be remarkably self-centered and selfish, expecting every man in her sphere to put everything second to worshipping at the altar of the divine Lily Evans. I really hate women like that. And now she seems to have cost Severus his marriage! The letter Hermione left for Severus was simply heartbreaking ... I hope Hermione's intention is only to try and hide herself away and not to try something even more drastic.Superb writing, and I'll probably be biting my nails to the quick waiting for the next update!
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
Lily is most definitely the villian in this story. I've known many women who aren't content unless all the eligible men are fawning over them. It's a real peeve of mine. Thanks so much for your praise! I was quite nervous about the letter, I wanted it to be sad but not 'over the top'. The next chapter is in queue, so hopefully your nails will survive. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!!*hugs*Rhiannon
What a cruel development! I just found this story today so I was blissfully reading when the last couple of chapters hit like a ton of bricks. It seems Severus is just not meant to be happy in any universe, huh?I am fascinated with how you'll eventually explain what brought our Severus to this universe in the first place. But I'm really sad he won't have the chance to be completly happy in it again. I was really starting to enjoy it, too. Oh well.
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
I'll ask you to hang on until the next chapter is up. I promise, he will be happy. I will explain, and all will be well. Honest. I'm so glad you found my little yarn, and gave it a chance. Hang on just a little longer. I can't be horrid to my darling Severus forever, can I?Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!!*hugs*Rhiannon
So life in this existence was not all sunshine and roses after all. Hopefully he gets himself sorted.
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
Behind every lovely pastoral landscape is a huge pile of cow dung!! Next chapter is in queue!! Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!*hugs*Rhiannon
*Sob* How can you be so horrible?! From Severus taking on all the guilt to Hermione's heartfelt letter, argh! So sad! Now make it better.I guess the other Severus was just plain dumb, right? He loved Hermione and knew she was upset with his closeness to Lily. Why didn't he do something? Or did he still have a crush on her and Hermione was right all along?Excellent update, now hurry with more!
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
I am horrible *evil grin*. They must suffer don't you see???? That way it'll be worthwhile when they do come together. (Sounds like another SSHG fic I'm obsessing over...)He was over his feelings for Lily. He never dreamed that Hermione would take his actions as anything other than platonic. As yummy as he is Severus is still just a 'silly man' at heart! Don't worry, the next bit is in queue! =]Thanks so much for reading and reviewing! *hugs*Rhiannon
that is so lily. she always struck me as selfish except where harry was concerned. poor hermione and poor severus. i have hopes for a happy ending. thanks so much
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
I think you'll be pleased with the ending. Ok, there's the proper ending and then the epilogue... I believe you'll like both! =]Thanks so much for reading and reviewing! *hugs*Rhiannon
Lily just couldn't leave well enough alone. I'm really mad at her for messing with Severus' life and happiness.
Okay, Severus, what are you waiting for? Go after her.
Well done rhiannon. I'm enjoying this story and looking forward to the next chapter.
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
*blush* Thanks so much! Lily didn't honestly mean to ruin things, she's just rather self-centered, as well as being an attention whore. They will be together, I promise, though not in the way you might expect!! Thanks so much for reading and for your most kind review!! *hugs*Rhiannon
Oh my god! What drama and anguish! Severus needs a kick up the jacksy... I hope he gets to keep Hermione and doesn't suddenly end up back in his real universe!
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
Funny, isn't it? So many times in lie a boot in the ass would be of great benefit. =] Next chapter is in queue!!!! So you'll see very soon! Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!!!!*hugs*Rhiannon
Interesting story. Looking forward to seeing how it all ends.
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
Thanks for the review. I'm glad you're enjoying it. One chapter left, and then an epilogue. Should be along soon! *hugs*Rhiannon
Oh, my heart is just breaking! And poor Hermione--even though Severus loves her, it seems like his friendship with Lily is inappropriate, and she takes advantage of it. She seems quite self-centered and wants to be the sole focus of both men. I do hope they are able to work things out--can't wait to read the next chapter!
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
Yes, it's a sad situation for everyone. I honestly don't think Lily ever meant to hurt Hermione, she's only more concerned with her own situation. Thanks so much for the review!! Next chapter will hopefully be up soon!!! *hugs*Rhiannon
Yeah, that's just not right. He may not have slept with Lily, but he and Lily were not acting properly. It's like they were having an emotional affair, at least on Lily's part for sure. I think Severus was doing it and didn't realize it.Livvy
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
Exactly. He never severed his emotional bond to Lily, and had no clue it would effect Hermione. Based on Lily's personality (getting a charge out of two men paying attention to her) she probably really believes that he really is in love with her still. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!!!! *hugs*Rhiannon
ok ok. i trust you. i'll hang til the end. thanks so much for the update
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
Thanks! I know there's an extra-ordinary amount of weirdness in this, but I promise, it will all be worth it in the end. Thanks so much for reading and for the review! My beta has chappie 6, so hopefully it'll be up soon!*hugs* Rhiannon
What a bunch of twisted minds...
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
I'm sorry. I know it seems as though none of them have morals, but the infidelity here is based on lack of self-confidence, as well as lack of communication in relationships. I am quite twisted, but I promise it will turn out alright in the end. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing. I hope you'll keep reading! *hugs*Rhiannon
OMG! I can't imagine how difficult it would have been for Severus to have to watch Hermione's infidelity with Harry after having just shared passionate love-making with her. There will be some deep soul-searching done in the next few days and weeks ahead... and I can only hope that Hermione is able to come to terms with her having drawn Harry into an illicite affair with her because of something she misunderstood, something that never happened ... Severus has not been untrue to Hermione.Right now, what I do know is:• Severus has not been unfaithful to Hermione.• Lily has been unfaithful to James, but only years ago with Severus before Harry was born.• Lily would like to be unfaithful to James with Severus.• Severus is not under any circumstande interested in being unfaithful to Hermione.• Ginny has been unfaithful to Harry with Oliver Wood.• and until the night before, Harry had not been unfaithful to Ginny.• and now Harry has been unfaithful to Ginny with their best friend, Hermione.• before last night, Hermione had not been unfaithful to Severus. And another thing, if Lily had been a stronger person, perhaps the only one who might have committed adultry was Ginny... and we still have not heard her side of the story.Great chapter, dear. BTW, I do believe my headache and confussion are gone, thanks to your reply to my comments for the last chapter and the aspirin you sent me. If I have gotten any of my bulleet points wrong, please feel free to let me know where I went wrong.Beth
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
Very good summation, dear. I'm not sure we'll hear from Ginny. I don't know how I'd fit her in. Her issue was just one of feeling lonely and unsure of herself. She just couldn't convince herself that Harry wasn't also fooling around. Up next, Severus will get some advice, and some much needed information on his present circumstance. Thanks so much for your brilliant review and questions. You are the reason that I put the A/Ns into the this chapter. =] I'm so glad you've continued to read and review. I'm still working on chapter 6. It's been very difficult for me to write. I'll have it up as soon as I can!*hugs*Rhiannon
Okay, it was beautifully written but I wanted him to get a little pissed. I mean this is Severus Snape, he got pissed when people called him "Snivellus" and like "Makeaem" I'm really hoping she's not going to be pregnant w/ Harry's baby. I'm trusting you and following you along, hoping we'll get back to HG/SS together.:)
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
Thank you. He's going to have quite a lot to deal with, trust me! Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!!! *hugs*Rhiannon
I understand the insecurities that would make someone do this, but I wish they had stuck to the thought that this would not make them any better than those who wronged them (or thought had wronged them).
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
You are correct, two wrongs don't ever make a right. Though many very moral, and responsible people make stupid choices when they are placed in extreme circumstances. Sometimes, the only way to fix something is to destroy it completely. More information is on the way!!! Thanks so much for reading and reviewing. *hugs*Rhiannon
I seriously hope the next chapter is in the queue! This is fantastic!
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
Thanks so much!!!! Next chapter is the most difficult for me. Sorry to say the due to RL complications, and my obsessive determination to get it just right, it's still on the cutting board. I will get it to my beta ASAP, because I can't wait to share it!!!!!! Thanks again for the review, and also for reading! *hugs*Rhiannon
Okay, I trust you. Man, Hermione really wanted him to know what she had done. I wonder... if the Severus before he had "arrived" ever had an affair with Lily?Livvy
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
Hermione is an extremely moral person. She felt an enormous burden of guilt, and the need to confess. Severus and Lily, in my world. DID have an affair. It was prior to Harry's birth. Very perceptive!!! Thanks so much for raeding and reviewing!*hugs*Rhiannon
Please tell me she's not going to be pregnant.
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
No, no. Nothing like that!!!!Thanks for reading and reveiwing!*hugs*Rhiannon
I think that was well done. :)
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
Thanks! I'm so glad you've enjoyed it...Stay tuned! *hugs*Rhiannon
Poor Sev, so oblivious! :)
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
Thanks for reading and reviewing!!*hugs*Rhiannon
Whew, what a mess. Thanks for the a/n at the beginning of the story. I really needed to know that. What a secret or burden Severus has taken on, but I wonder if he's given Hermione enough enough credit? Lack of truth causes so much trouble later on down the road.
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
I wanted to give a bit of explanation before I committed the ultimate SSHG blasphemy!! He's underestimated her, I think. He's going to have a great deal to think over. Fortunately, he's going to get some valuable information, as well as advice. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!! *hugs*Rhiannon
Oh this is not good.
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
No, it is most definitely a bad situation. I believe that sometimes, you have to be at your very worst in order to set things right. Thanks for reading and reviewing! *hugs*Rhiannon
Okay, I'm a bit wierd, but I'm glad she did that. Now he knows everything and won't be swirling around in his own little world. I'm hoping for the best that he'll tell her the truth, perhaps even through Legilimency. It was really sad to read how inferior she feels. I hope Severus can convince her otherwise. It seems that he's not in a hateful mood about her infidelity. He seems to be thinking more of her than of himself in this instance. That's a step in the right direction, but he's got a lot to think on and decide about.
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
Yes, I needed him to be at a cross roads. I've always thought that Severus should be the poster-boy for 'selfless'. He has a great deal to think about. He will tell the truth, and recieve some good advice. =] Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!*hugs*Rhiannon
I'm intrigued. I'm enjoying the beginning and set-up of this tale and look forward to reading more. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Response from rhiannon113 (Author of What Dreams May Come)
Thanks so much! I'm glad you're enjoying it, and hope you'll continue to do so. Thanks for reading and reviewing!! *hugs* Rhiannon
