Yep, I'd say Lucius is going to pay dearly for kidnapping and torturing Hermione. Severus and Remus aside, most of the Weasley boys tend to consider Hermione as another sister and would probably consider it their duty as brothers to seek vengeance on her behalf. With all the people seeking a piece of Lucius' hide, I'd say the arrogant Pureblood bastard is so going down!

She's set Severus up for trouble too.  I do feel sorry for her. Lucius is an evil monster.  I hope Severus can rescue her soon, and that he won't suffer too much for it.

I am sure they are relieved to know that the worst is over. I do feel that you might improve this chapter by delving just a little bit more into their emotions to build the tension. It read more like a news story than fiction. But perhaps you will do that in the next chapter.

 I liked this chapter. I don't think it was too short. I'm quite sad it comes to an end. My problem with stories where it takes time for hERMIONE AND seVERUS TO GET TOGETHER IS that authors are generally exhausted by the time our favourite characters are reunited. And you don't get to actually see them interact while they are together:( I wish it wasn't the case with your story...

wonderful wrap up of pain in butt riddle. a bit short and you said a line twice in the first paragraph or so. something about 'a few years ago' in relation to the field. but all in all you did a wonderful job. Way to Go!

I don't think it happened too suddenly. The Order was planning this for a while, and thankfully, everything worked out for them. It wasn't that the battle was written too short, it's the fact that they worked very well together.

Since the Order set up this duelling training so spontaneously, as a reaction after the attack on the Ministry, this scene had to come right away! Not much else would have been more convincing to L.V. Severus reporting to his Master built up my tension very effectively! No, it wasn't too short either: I have little need for a blood and curse loaded installment. Severus leaving when thing get emotional is perfect!Has Lucius survived? I was half-fearing he might report the kiss to their master just when they decided to go to the stadium.

No, it was not too short. No, it did not happen too suddenly. A very good chapter indeed.  I especially liked the part with Severus and Voldemort. I thought that scene was done quite well.

Oh My God! I was literally on the edge of my chair and couldn't read fast enough! That was fantastic!!!I loved the reunion in the lab... perfect!

I liked it, a great blend of action and apprehension.
