I stumbled onto the Potterverse in the summer of 2007, the weekend that DH came out, which was also the weekend I had a screening of the latest film. I reread HBP after starting DH and realizing it had been awhile, so, by the end of that weekend, I was overdosed on Harry Potter . . . and needed a fix! I stumbled onto SS/HG fics. These turned out to be far and away my favorite of these writings, in part because they're almost all wickedly erotic, funny as hell, deeply moving, and a vindication of intelligence as the ultimate aphrodisiac!
In RL I am an actor and a writer.

Great continuation! Your analysis of Ron's behaviour is very fitting and works well with the canon-character. I'm eager to read about what Hermione and Harry will find!

A great start, Elise_Wanderer. I'm very sad for Ron--I can see how that would be something one dealt with in being married to Hermione if one couldn't share it--those sudden, all-consuming obsessions. I'm looking forward to the next!

Doesn't it say in the epilogue "Hermione Weasley"?

No, sorry. The only mention of a Weasley is in the admonition to Rose about "Grandpa Weasley." (I just checked it again to be sure.) I did read it pretty carefully before writing this, and there's a lot that's suggested without being explicitly stated.
“You will not be able to give it up, Miss Granger” he replied, matter-of-factly.There should be a comma after Granger.

I didn't see a mention of it and maybe you've never heard of it, but there was a fic written a few years back by a person using the penname Riley and the title of her fic was Pawn to Queen aka PtQ. It was about chess and SS/HG.Your Mr. Riley, PtQ, and chess stood out.

Very sharp eyes! This is indeed an homage to that marvelous (though abandoned) fic. I figured if I had to give his chess partner a name, I might as well give a nod to Riley. Wish she'd return and finish it someday!So glad you caught that--you are indeed an SSHG fan!
