This was a very satisfying read indeed! Very nice use of the letter format, as well of pacing and writing style. It's such a cliche, but this was simply Lovely in the best way!

Fun story.  I liked Hermione's jitters to the point of a breakdown before the marriage.

Sooooo.... Minerva has noticed that our Severus is walking around with a grin plastered on his face.  Well, it's about time, isn't it?I would have loved to have been a fly-on-the-wall when Hermione took him to meet her parents.  I imagine her father referred to Severus as a 'cradle robber' or some such.  Whooooweeee! that must have been a site.This is a really fun story, and I love the way you've told it through their correspondence.  I'm looking forward to your next update.Beth

I had to laugh when Hermione wrote about her "mother's hidden stash of Barbara Cartland."  My mother, and all three of her daughtes, read just about everything Dame Barbara wrote -- and loved it all!  Just like I love this story!Thanks for writing it.Beth

I really enjoyed Severus' conversation with himself over her comments;  "...loved, wanted, needed, desired."  Sometimes a conversation with yourself is just what it takes to allow oneself to see the 'possibilities.'Loved it!BethPS- Hermione's reaction to the gifts from 'the boys' was exactly how I would feel on receiving such pointedly 'do-something-about-yourself' birthday honoraria.  Now, Severus' birthday honoraria were of the perfectly suitable and much appreciated type.  Severus is very smart, and I think he in becoming totally intrigued by our heroine.

Brilliant as usual! This story is so entertaining that I without blushing claim temporary forgetfulness and read all chapters all over again every time there is a new update:-) I sincerely hope that the next letters will clue us in on the reactions from Harry, Ron, etc etc etc?
